    Got to disagree on Tuchel loving mediocre players. He tried to get better midfielders and Bayern chose to believe in Kimmich. His favorite coached players would probably be Dembele, Auba, Neymar, Musiala, Mbappe, Di Maria, Leroy Sané. And they’re some of the players who’ve praised him the most

    Modern fans conflate managers tactical ability with how consistent their philosophy/style is, they completely ignore the personal side of management. Ancelotti has been taking teams and making the best with their various skill sets for 30 years. Managing is about more than tactics, for him to last in this game for that long with how much things have evolved is insane

    Flops were Barca and Arsenal, for sure. Araujo, Xavi, Cancelo, Haaland, Saka, Rice, Gabriel & Saliba (for the first leg, mainly). Stars were Ancelotti, Terzic, Dortmund's entire XI basically, Tuchel, Kimmich, Musiala (I actually think he was the best player in the 2nd leg), Lunin and maybe a few more.

    I love the take on Ancelotti and I saw his brilliance even as PSG manager. If he does win his 5th, I definitely think he deserves top 3 spot.
    Talk about a manager who’s done it for decades and through different eras of football for a wide range of clubs with their own problems that he dealt with. A manager who players run through walls for. Definitely needs his praise.
    PS: flop of the quarter final is Xavi
    Star is Dembele or Rodygo as well. 🌟

    I think many Arsenal fans have always known our attacks still has levels to go in terms of upgrades, mainly with the 9 position but then a left wing option that could see Martinelli be a backup LW and potential 9 long term as an option has always been touted (Arteta has compared Martinelli to Suarez before i.e in mould). Saka is a great weapon and is the mainstay in whatever front 3 we construct, but if the other 2 are bonafide stars as well, it helps him out a lot in terms of burden + unlocking new parts to his game, and I think that's what we're hoping for. Osimhen and Leao would be the dream.

He created so much and was causing problems the whole game long. That game was the KDB show and if City had won on penalties I don’t think you would say that. • @_DioBrando_
      @_DioBrando_ 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      A number of reasons;
      A) People genuinely don't want to talk about City. It's a fake plastic club that people want gone. You really think neutrals want to glorify a financially doped club?
      B) The narrative surrounding City is that "Genius" Pep is the main character. The players are just chess pieces and will never get full credit. It's unfair to KDB but it's the reality of playing for Pep. Messi is the only player to win the Balon D'Or under Pep and that will never change because Pep is the one that will take all the credit (not the players)
      C) People won't openly debate this yet but I guarantee you the overall feeling is that City are engaging in ridiculous performance enhancing drug abuse. Pep's history suggests that it's very plausible and some of the physical endurance feats of players like Rodri, Walker and De Bryune himself are extremely fishy. Playing through a nasty hamstring injury but not having any visible drop in physical performance is suspect. Time will reveal the extent of City's cheating.

    System football is killing the game. The game has become about who has more possession, most XGs, most shots, most passes, output output output. Look at Madrid, they lost almost every stat except one, the score😂😂

    I think that Haaland made the wrong decision going to City. I know they won a treble and all but he is not being utilized to the best of his ability. If you watch him at Dortmund it looked like he was going to become an absolute monster. Now, Lyes is right, he is a poacher. Haaland now is what 36 year old Cristiano is, and that's a hinderence to his view as Best Player.

      He still made the correct decision for his career path. He won a treble in the best league in the world. Just cause he’s not being used tactically the “right” way doesn’t mean it’s a bad decision to go to City. It was OBJECTIVELY the correct decision to go to City. Because at Dortmund he looked like a monster cause they were a counter attacking team, if you’re Haaland you can’t just go to counter attacking teams. If you want to be compared to Messi and Ronaldo, you can’t be limited to a playstyle.
