    My experience owning one so far...
    Every ad, pamphlet, sales literature and even the sales pitch at the dealership revolve around it's off road capabilities. Yet doing things I did on a weekend basis with my 20 year old Wrangler TJ Sahara caused the yolk on the front inner axle to fail, taking out a ball joint and snapped an ear off of the now cheap aluminum steering knuckle. All on a brand new 2019 Wrangler JL Rubicon!
    First they tried to brush me off due to evidence of mud under the vehicle (for real?). The argument quickly escalated that I possibly hit something despite 0 damage on any other components. They wouldn't say I did hit something for sure, but since it was a possibility... they had an argument. It was also a possibility a part failed... just saying. When making it clear I couldn't be without a vehicle any longer and that I have to get it fixed, I asked if it needed anything else. They didn't know, as they didn't inspect it. They just saw it was broke and dirty and essentially just said nope unless I paid up. I was told they could see if anything aside from what they could see by looking behind the tire was broke, but I'd have to pay for a full inspection. At one point I was given the option to pay in "advance" to speed up the repairs and if the warranty kicked in, I'd be reimbursed. Ya, right...
    Being jerked around between the dealership and customer service, I took my jeep elsewhere to get fixed. Doing so apparently waived my right to complain anymore or receive compensation. But after 2 weeks of being without a vehicle... it had to be done. It turned into 3 weeks after everything was said and done.
    That's what 60k buys you!
    I've posted this a few times on Jeeps facebook page. Which are all deleted and I am blocked now from commenting. Guess your only allowed to tell people to go ahead and void your warranty work, it's fun!

      OriginalTeddy this is exactly what’s stopping me from buying the newer jeeps, they were once reliable but as soon as fiat took over.. i’m still thinking about buying a wrangler, either this or a 4runner

    Dude, your reviews need some polishing. Nothing about the lift, tire, wheel combo? We bought the unlimited sport with no power anything, as a Jeep should be! Actually we wish we had remote keyless entry and electric mirrors. Mileage sucks ass but we will wait for the ecodiesel later on in the year and that should see 28mpg for now the 14 mpg kinda sucks but we knew it is what it is. 30k for a new Jeep 4 door we are happy.

      Working on it. Sucks that the diesel version is only available in a manual transmission.

    Looking at jeeps now, not sure if I wanna go with the unlimited sport S 3.6l v6 or the 2.0l v8 turbo

    • @JhonnyTube
      @JhonnyTube  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The V6 Pentastar has 285hp and 260 lb-ft of torque, it has 18 more horsepower than the four cylinder turbo but it has 35 less lb-ft of torque. You’ll get better MPG with the Turbo, that’s a sure thing.

    • @luchaDor
      @luchaDor 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well...its not a 2.0L V8 turbo...I'm sure that's a typo...is a 2.0L V4.

      Sport, wheels aren’t stock.
      Here where I live the Honda dealer (where I film the reviews) they have all types of jeeps already lifted and with wheels.

      @@JhonnyTube hey I'm new to this is it true that Jeep sucks on reliability because they break down easier I heard rumors also overpriced

    • @JhonnyTube
      @JhonnyTube  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I had a cousin own a 2015 Sahara and he made a trip to Virginia from Kentucky and said that it would overheat and they had to give it breaks, that when he got back took it to the dealer and they told him that it’s not built for really long trips, I was surprised to hear that actually.
      And on overpriced? The old model I would agree no doubt, because of the cheap interior material. The new one, probably fair for the price. I made a video about the previous gen Wrangler, check it out you’ll see the HUGE difference!

    • @Racerboy535
      @Racerboy535 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It’s lifted, you can’t get 35” tires under a stock Jeep, well you can but it would rub when turning with any articulation with the suspension. I assume it is a 2.5”-3.5” lift.

  • @RCGJR_
