I purchased my '18 Sahara with the dual top, leather seats, LED lighting package and everything in that one except for the automatic for $41k. Still expensive but not as bad as $48k

Great review. I like how you get the Jeep persona. Personally I like the fabric seats found in Jeeps, but I understand the desire for leather at $48,000. I've seen very cheap 'cloth' in some cars in my time but the Jeep does a very nice job at providing a dense fabric that lasts for years. I wish manufacturers would distinguish between "cloth" and "fabric" because every time I see "cloth seats" I wonder if it's a high quality fabric or not.

My wife ordered her GR86 PREMIUM and it comes in 2 weeks. She gave me her 2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport hardtop with factory lift. She is the original owner. I am loving it. I prefer the 5 spd auto for simplicity. My interior has a better feel to. I'll stick with my JK over the JL. Especially for $50k. Lol. Thanks Joe...

It's borderline teal in person but still different. There is a bit of wind noise.

Gosh Joe, that colour is just gorgeous! I'm going to guess that the lack of power seats is so there aren't too many electrical fittings down low for when you're fording a river and so forth.

The JK was also sold in 2018 along with the JL. There are 2018's out there without the fender lights.

Got a new 2019 Sahara fully loaded for 49k. I think it's worth the money compared to what the market offers. You also have to keep in mind the 2.9% inflation rate every year. Prices have to go up! If you can't afford you can still get a good jeep at a cheaper price on the used market!

I have this ride in battleship gray and i love it. Traded in a shaker scat pack. Sorry folks i just cant call it sting gray. No regrets whatsoever on trading in the scat pack.

$48 grand with Leather/ventilated seats then the Sahara would be perfect. Especially with the removable roof in the sun Ventilated seats are a must.

That’s my main complaint. I don’t care that their not power, but on a Vehicle that can cost more than $60,000 Ventilated seats should at least be in the weather package.

I've owned a few Cherokee's and one Commander, I'm past my Jeep stage in life, they just aren't built as well as they used to be, and they are too expensive for what I think you get. The only Jeep I'd want right now would be an SRT8 Grand Cherokee, but again, price on that is crazy!

I’d say it’s worth it. The performance of the SRT Jeeps is incredible, their pretty much on par with the muscle car counterparts and that SRT AWD system is pretty damn good considering it can hold full traction with the 707HP Hellcat under the hood.

My experience owning one so far...
Every ad, pamphlet, sales literature and even the sales pitch at the dealership revolve around it's off road capabilities. Yet doing things I did on a weekend basis with my 20 year old Wrangler TJ Sahara caused the yolk on the front inner axle to fail, taking out a ball joint and snapped an ear off of the now cheap aluminum steering knuckle. All on a brand new 2019 Wrangler JL Rubicon!
First they tried to brush me off due to evidence of mud under the vehicle (for real?). The argument quickly escalated that I possibly hit something despite 0 damage on any other components. They wouldn't say I did hit something for sure, but since it was a possibility... they had an argument. It was also a possibility a part failed... just saying. When making it clear I couldn't be without a vehicle any longer and that I have to get it fixed, I asked if it needed anything else. They didn't know, as they didn't inspect it. They just saw it was broke and dirty and essentially just said nope unless I paid up. I was told they could see if anything aside from what they could see by looking behind the tire was broke, but I'd have to pay for a full inspection. At one point I was given the option to pay in "advance" to speed up the repairs and if the warranty kicked in, I'd be reimbursed. Ya, right...
Being jerked around between the dealership and customer service, I took my jeep elsewhere to get fixed. Doing so apparently waived my right to complain anymore or receive compensation. But after 2 weeks of being without a vehicle... it had to be done. It turned into 3 weeks after everything was said and done.
That's what 60k buys you!
I've posted this a few times on Jeeps facebook page. Which are all deleted and I am blocked now from commenting. Guess your only allowed to tell people to go ahead and void your warranty work, it's fun!

JK Sahara owner. What you say is true and known by the community. They advertise the Wrangler as an off-roader, but if you brake something, the dealership WILL REFUSE to replace it under warranty. My U-Joints failed after 2yrs , and they wouldn't replace them, saying i used the vehicle off road. Thing is, i went on a trail ONCE, and barely hit dirt.... Terrrible customer service...

Really don't like the four door version, the rear doors look odd, like they don't belong. The two door version always catches my attention, much nicer. It would. be Nice to have a grab handle in the back. Its great you can disable the auto stop feature. THANKS O'NEIL!!!!!

Jeep is NOT the jeep of ww2. Ford made most followed by AMC. Otherwise the heritage is not contiguous. The jeeps today have limited capability of the old jeeps. Thanks for the content and Information.

So unfortunate that Jeep prices are completely out of control. Not only due to the high MSRP, but the destination charge is almost $1500 which is ridiculous for a vehicle made in Ohio. FCA wants 4.05% interest over 60 months which is crazy when you can get a Grand Cherokee for 0% over 72 months. Let that sink in.

Raiti's Rides The fact that people are buying these is a sign of a great economy. My cousin bought his wife a MOAB last December. We got to drive during our last visit and loved it but it was $58k!
If you got really good credit go to a bank or a credit union for a Auto loan.
You can get really low interest rate that way.
Also look at fine print for that deal. You got have top notch credit and put 10% down.

But aqua color is hideous, ocean blue looks better plus unfortunately on the higher trim levels if you pick black seats you get a hideous red dash, the silver dash looks better and more subdued.
It’s based on exterior color too. I don’t get why they didn’t just make it a option.
Should of just made the silver or a black dash standard options, then painted options to match the exterior paint on all the colored interior pieces,
Can’t cost that much more.
Honestly this video is pretty misleading. Every feature you mentioned is an option. Not all Saharas have cloth seats, or the 8" screen. Not all Rubicons have leather seats. But I'm an enthusiast so I already know that. But thanks for reviewing the best color!
