    I agree with everything u state in your video with the exception of your comment regarding traveling long distance. We live in upstate New York and purchased our 2020 Freedom edition in the bikini pearl coat in Maryland near DC.
    Couldn’t find this one anywhere. So we had to obviously drive back to New York. I have absolutely no complaints with this vehicle at speeds. Was traveling between 70-75 and it wasn’t bad inside. At one point we had the tops off for about 200 miles. Still no issues. I guess it boils down to what is considered to much air noise for each driver. Loved the review.

      Bill - thank you and congrats on your purchase! I would agree noise is relative. For some an S Class would be too quiet. Glad you enjoyed your trip back to NY and have a great summer.

    Great review... looking now for a wrangler... it will be interesting to see what happens to the market when the Bronco hits the streets... I am hoping better deals will be had! New supporter.. hope you return the support!

      Thank you for commenting and subbing. There are some deals to be had and the Wrangler/Bronco question is very interesting. I'm not convinced many Wrangler owners will switch, but I do think the new Bronco will rope in plenty of new buyers. In my area, the best Wrangler deals tend to be at the end of the year. Happy hunting and I'll check out your site.

    Diesel engines are almost social pariahs here in the UK due to the noise being made by the climate activists. Sales of diesel engine cars have plummeted over the last few years as we await the imminent banning of them from many cities.
    Meanwhile the review you post is (as usual) thoughtfully constructed, and eloquently delivered. Indeed, I find myself wondering how come you don't have multiple thousands of subscribers. Love the scenery out there, and those undulating hills just scream for a two wheeled adventure......Regards from England.

      Bib - thank you for the kind comments. These things take awhile to grow and get discovered. I agree on two wheeled adventure in the area.

    Doesn’t anyone know if you can get this exact model and year but with lather seats ?

    • @atastefortheroad4475
      @atastefortheroad4475  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      The Sport S is available w/leather seats, but most opt for the Sahara when they want the upgraded interior.

    I'm 5ft 3. Could I fold down the seats and camp out in it?

      Angela - I think camping in it would be very doable w/the seats down and folded.

    Hi Scott,
    I’m considering this model as a daily driver. I’ve heard that it is loud inside, and also just a stereotype of it being unsafe. I’m currently in a Dodge Ram 1500. Any thoughts? Thanks for the helpful review!

    • @atastefortheroad4475
      @atastefortheroad4475  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Kirstie - the Wrangler offers varying levels of loudness depending on roof spec. As a daily, I'd recommend the hardtop and adding the sound insulation inserts as an accessory. Having driven models w/and w/o them and they do make a difference. I'd also pay some attention to tire choice and focus on those for road use. No matter which Wrangler you choose, it will be louder than your Ram. With the Sport S here, I found driving at 60 mph decent for noise and if I had a passenger I'd need to raise my voice a touch. 70+ on the highway for long distances would get old. It's true the Wrangler doesn't meet the same safety standards, but it does have a variety of safety features. My recommendation would be to test several in the basic format you want (2 or 4 door) and see what you like best on local roads and the highway. Happy hunting and if you have additional questions, please feel free to ask. Cheers, Scott

    Is unlimited a model or is it the unlimited sport?

    • @atastefortheroad4475
      @atastefortheroad4475  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Ryan - the Unlimited refers to the Wrangler 4 door. This particular example is an Unlimited Sport S.

    Are the leaks still happening on the 2020 models?

    • @atastefortheroad4475

      Not that I'm aware of and I always check the forums for complaints, tsb codes, issues, and ask around to confirm.

    First off there is no demand for a $90,000 jeep period. Those aftermarket products should come already on the civilian jeeps available for purchase. And those jeeps should be priced at a normal price of around 35-45,000. Greed is destroying this nation. To much mass quantities of junk and not enough quality. Great review.

      This particular model is the Sport S w/the automatic and the 6 cylinder. List is around $41/42k, but there are discounts to be found with a bit of searching. Prices can jump around quite a bit. Happy hunting!

      @@atastefortheroad4475 I thought you were great. The annoying reviews are rushed. The people in the reviews are dressed like they were going to Wal Mart after a keg party. This is a real review. Good review.
