Um...no. Soma came from a family style restaurant which is true. However, the point of the series is that he takes every lesson and makes the weirdest things he can. He and his dad literally greet themselves by making each other gross things. The point was that he was never 'family style'. It's that he didn't restrict himself to the rules traditional chefs use.

As a Turkish I have to say we don’t use long grain rice, we use baldo rice which has short grain like risotto rice. And we don’t use orzo everytime. sometimes we put veggies and meat 😋

Time explain what happened between, before, after, what technique, how they got stronger, their backstory, and how underestimated the punch was. I think sports anime, card game(or shows akin to it with some kind of children's game/toy like Beyblade with the tops) anime, and this show showcase that to the extreme cuz otherwise it'd be boring. Not saying the all the monologing is bad persay, but it's more obvious in these kind of shows when it's not veiled by intense fighting or crazy fictional monsters/animals mauling each other

In this show’s defense, the final season was the portion of the series that one of the main writers behind the manga left so the remaining author (the non-cook) took over the whole thing so the final arc wasn’t as satisfying, which is what this part was from

Regarding the clay pot... in Germany we have the Roemerpot, which is glazed clay pot cooking. You can make the softest rice there is from those, better then any rice cooker (I got two at home). BUT... it takes ages. You have to soak the clay pot for an hour and then cook the rice for another hour. In that time the rice cooker finished the rice five times over. So... for asian rice dishes I use the rice cooker, Chelow or Ssabzi Polo (Persian Rice dishes) you have to use a clay pot.
This is the final Food Wars challenge of the series. So there would be a lot of self-reflection, flashbacks and talking from the various characters of the series up to this point.

I thought the reason fried rice was that it was a quick meal that you can make while using leftovers for ingredients. A way not to waste food. Yes, you have to use a scallon, rice, oil, salt, pepper, MSG and egg. But you can throw whatever else in there and it will still come out good for the most part and a lot of times better. Just my two cents
My old cheap rice cooker died. I bought a Baby Elephant Brand (Zojirushi) rice cooker to replace it. Fuiyoh! I am in love with it. It makes the best rice I have ever had. So delicious! Thanks Uncle Roger!

I know it's satire but for anyone wondering, animation is expensive and labor intensive which is why 90% of it is static shots with only lips flapping, slow panning shots, or looping animations.
That's like saying, movie making is just about following people around with unnecessarily expensive camera. Every single character, their body, position, scene, angle, dialogue, color correction and fx has to be drawn and reviewed multiple times per second before it passes the quality check. Its professional anime, not your crappy Ren'py VNs.

I'm impressed with the amount of research that went into this video. All the cuisines you've explained, as far as I have understood, everything is right. Poriyal is a Tamil name for the dish. As he said, it can be made with basically any vegetable. The way to make each poriyal is different. It can be simple or complex. You can make your own poriyal too.

He probably mixed the Hollandaise sauce with the soft-boiled egg into the fried rice creating a creamy like texture to it, but how is what I'm trying to figure out without the soft boiled egg being cooked into the fried rice he probably blended it in afterwards, but I'm not sure how without the egg looking like it's been chopped up into the fried rice mixture.
