- Not all Adventure Force is good, because not all Adventure Force is done by Dart Zone... sometimes it's Buzz Bee Toys, and sometimes those are awful... like the Thundershot Hammer Action Revolver Blaster here! But to be fair, we compare it directly against the NERF Fortnite 6-SH to see which blaster comes out on top.

Wow, for once, ADVENTURE FORCE messed up. That’s shocking. Unlike Nerf, that’s EXPECTED! But at least it’s not as bad as the Warden!
That's because Adventure Force is multiple companies... and this blaster is actually made by Buzz Bee Toys, but you're right: they probably shouldn't have stuff like this deluding their line.
@@WalcomS7 Well, Nerf has been declining for the past 2 years, 3 years once 2022 strikes… but Adventure Force NEVER struck this low ONCE. But there’s a first for everything!
@@WalcomS7 Tbf, Adventure Force is just Walmart's brand for many different toys, including toys that aren't blasters. Honestly I find it strange that Dart Zone/Buzz Bee/etc. don't just market their blasters at Walmart under their own name.

@@ryanymous2138 That's because all of the good "Adventure Force" blasters were by Dart Zone. All of the Buzzbee AF Blasters were only mid-tier anyways. Frankly, Dart Zone shouldn't sell their products under the Adventure Force line. There is a stark contrast in quality between them and Buzzbee.
You may have misunderstood - the 80’ range is how far you can *throw* it when you inevitably get frustrated that it doesn’t work

Embrace it. I am 51 and got into blasters 6months ago. I have well over a hundred now and at least it's keeping me off a golf course!

@@ryancaling1711 absolutely. My son has airsoft and paintball and that's all fine in their own places but the 'play anywhere' aspect of foam blasters is liberating and fun.

That 80 claim on the box is how long your thumb needs to be in mm to reach the hammer, the box designer just misunderstood and put it as range in feet 😂

As someone who has already broken a Thundershot(same place, no less) , the spring is an excellent upgrade for an Xshot rapid fire. Shame it works so poorly, I love the aesthetic. Very cartoony
I'll tell you right now; the newest version of BuzzBee darts with the almost dome-shaped tips are the absolute worst darts I've ever encountered. They don't work well in their own blasters, they don't work well in other brands' blasters. They aren't glued properly. Some of them aren't glued at all. BuzzBee's got some neat blasters out there right now, but I wouldn't even use their darts for packing material because I'd be afraid whoever got the package would try and use them. I wouldn't wish them on anyone. I will run Elites, Zuru darts, Ultra, anything you want, but not those.
They need to have the waffle dart back

@Timothy Pak no, they are like current nerf elite darts but with a sharper edge, like a cone. the waffle-head adventure force darts knock it out of the park.

As for the Fortnite revolver, that stupidly long barrel reminds me of the '89 Batman movie when the Joker pulls out his comically long revolver to shoot down the Batwing

Drac acctually sells a replacement Muzzle for the 6SH fyi as he was surprised how good it was too
Just getting back into foam blasters now that my kids are a little older. And damn what a good time it is. Your channel is tops man, great info and entertaining.
Remember the Sentinel? The Doubleshot? The Mustang 6? The good old days, when Buzzbee ruled the land of cowboy action blasters... Now merely a shadow of their former glory remains, living on only in memory and Tag Back episodes. O, how the mighty have fallen!

does the thundershot grip come off as a separate piece? I'm just thinking it might be a bit more usable with a rifle-esque grip, though there would still be the actual function of the blaster to contend with
Pretty sure it does, I think MongooseJake mentioned it in his video.
It does along with that barrel.
Also i think the thunder shot is a direct plunger system which is why the grip comes off.

Mmmm you might want to keep an eye of a Thundershot for parts, that barrel looks great and the cylinder might work in another blaster as well.
So disappointing that Bruh-zz Bee messed up this one. The shell looks great and it technically works (so better than some recent Nerf offerings) but that's noticeably terrible performance. It's almost as if they had to dial down the spring after focus test kids couldn't pull back the weirdly placed hammer.
If you've got $10 to spend on a revolver, grab yourself an X-Shot Reflex, maybe even the upcoming gold one.
So we now have hasbruh and bruh-zz bee. Please xshot and dartzone please provide good blasters.

@@WalcomS7 Actually have been chatting with the VP there at Buzz Bee about the Sent, Brute, Destiny and a few others coming back. Even mocked up a paint scheme, and from our chats some there are on board big time. Time will tell though.
I actually like the long barrel. It reminds of the joker revolver from the first Michael Keaton Batman movie.

It seems like dart zone is the only blaster brand that understands how human hands work.
thats mainly becauase companys like nerf and other dart companys tend to design there guns for younger kids

Actually, later model Thundershots allowed Buzzbee to fix the problems with the Thundershot that plagued the first handful of batches. Primarily the flimsy hammer and internals. The ones in the first batches weren't intended to be shipped out to stores, apparently.
I will say with the fortnite 6 sh: while it's cool and functions well, modding it doesn't bode well for it. I put in the metal hammershot internals from Germany, as well as a spring upgrade. I've had nothing but issues with it since.
Yeah, they're citing my review for positives on social media...but my next post is about to retract my review because both of mine broke in the same exact spot.

Thank god I’m still owned a pair of hammershots cuz they’re can be duel welded unlike the thundershot that can only fires at close to mid range, while the fortnite revolver is mostly accurate.

The Fortnite line is so underappreciated, nearly every blaster is pretty good. Then again, the Fortnite tax is pretty bad but it can be worth it (especially when thrifted)
Yeah but i live in a small town, and every time ive checked the local goodwill, i havent found ANYTHING. its like a fucking drought, the best thing ive ever found was dart tag micro, 30 minutes away from said smoll town
the sniper is almost as good as the ultra pharaoh

Fantastic review. Awesome comparison video. I had high hopes for the Adventure Force revolver. I picked one up last week and wow it sure is underpowered. You ROCK keep up the great work. I do appreciate how you seem to go into all of your reviews with an enthusiastic open mind.

the 6-SH stands for 6 shooter because thats what it was called in game iirc
I think one good way to turn the fortnote 6-sh into a revolver carbine woule be to fix a longstrike stock to it and modify the stock so instead of holding 2 mags it could hold individual darts or even dart clips for easier loading
From my experience the BuzzBee dart is worse than the elite dart.
They are so incredibly inconsistent, it’s actually fun to use them.
They do work as shotgun ammunition though

I prefer my Dart Zone revolver over the Buzzbee Thundershot. I’m definitely going to buy the Fortnite 6-SH just because of how cool it looks.

Just got the 6-SH and it feels really awesome to shoot, the hammer prime is really good, I didn’t put the barrel on so now I have hammer action Strongarm
it would be cool if the thundershot was good for modding given its big ol cilinder along with its oversized hammer that might help, but with performance like that i dont think it has a large or even average sized plunger
My favorite buzz bee guns is the hawk. Bolt action, shell ejecting sniper format. What’s not to love?

Honestly I wouldn't say it's a good Blaster to play with but I would see it as a good cosplay gun just painted and give it a little details here and there and I would say it would probably look like a good Hellboy gun or any other gun from pop culture

If you haven't already, you might take a look at the Hammerstorm too. Sure, it's Alpha Strike but it's got some pop, better ergonomics than the Hammershot and an eight dart cylinder.

When I get the fortnite one I’m just not going to attach the barrel and leave it off because it’s useless and looks terrible, the blaster looks great without it

I feel bad for anyone who missed out on the Hammershot because the Hammershot is pretty rare/expensive to buy along with the Nerf Halo Assault Rifle. I'm thankful I have it.

I got one of these before this video, mine came not fully put together and would shoot like 1 foot, so I opened it up and didn't see anything broken so I put it back together and it was working like in the video, except the cylinder doesn't rotate. So yeah, it is a sad blaster.
I'm gonna say it. You have got to have baby hands if you can't prime the hammershot one handed

The long barrel of the Nerf one is a silencer, they are used to make pistols quiet, so they would be a better tool for assassinations.
I guess that the one pro with the Thundershot is that its proportions match quite well to those of an L-3 Nozzlenose so it would make an excellent prop

Will you eventually be putting out a review of the Dart Zone Max Stryker? I know other reviewers have talked about it already (and I also already have one of my own), but I want to hear your opinion!
He mentioned in streams that it's basically the same blaster as the Nexus Pro, and for that reason he's not blown away like some others are about it.

WalcomS7 I have had a ADVENTURE FORCE mini gun,sniper, and 4 shot pistol i used every ADVENTURE FORCE dart and the shot up to there range and i say i love ADVENTURE FORCE gun in my opinion

The one defense I will give for the thundersot is the shell is more modular in design for any modding interests. The grip is a two screw connection and the barrel is completely removable. Whether or not that's worth it is obviously up for debate, given it's poor stock performance.
Take the barrel off the 6-SH and you've got a Hammerarm.
I already have the fortnite 1 moded it to fire half-darts and the only reason I'd ever get the buzz bee on for, I'd just get a 3d printed cylinder.

I heard today from American Foam that these were prototype versions that got mistakenly shipped to stores, and that they fixed this and released the one they actually intended version to stores. Same for the Tetrashot... Although that one only got the chain fixed as far as I understood, which wouldn't solve anything... Oh well, maybe the Thundershot has a chance now... Outside the grip

I got the tetrafire and maybe just mine is garbage, but it barely fired and jammed a lot. plus, even when it fired it fired poorly.

The Buzz bee blaster looks like something they would have put out in 2003 or even the 90s, I mean it makes the Maverick look like gold by comparison

I think I need to get the 6-sh. I LIKE hammershots, especially my metal kit omw one. So, I think the 6-sh would be an even better platform for my omw kit.
this always been the problem with dart zone in my opinion, they probably make some of the most high quality blaster this year, and last year, but they look… off like they have very less design and only care about the performance, which is fine but at the same time, i’m kinda bored seeing one dart zone, probably the only dart zone blaster i like are adventure force because they look genuinely cool but the rest… just feel design-less

Idk about this. Maybe a whole bad batch cause I just put mine over the chronograph and I got an average 73 fps and was hitting in the 80s if I slamfired it cause the hammer goes back much further than the catch. Gonna adjust that catch and trim the cylinder for rear loading half darts soon.
Doesn't fix the breakage problems though. It's a bad design.
@@WalcomS7 that is true. It is flimsy and brittle. That along with the poor geometry makes it a no go for most enthusiasts. I however am probably going to build a bunch of custom stuff for mine because I'm crazy like that.
Removing the barrel on the 6-SH increases velocity.
I just bought the thunder shot and it's pretty good for me. Also love your vids and I'm also a gun collector.

I'm going to get the Thunder shot because I'm a small nerfer and it might be comfortable to my hand I know I shouldn't get it cuz it's really bad but it will go good for my collection I don't got a revolver
I adore the look of the 6-sh. £25 in the UK markets is steep for me, but I am eager to get my hands on one. I don't suppose there's anyone in this beautiful comments section who knows if the spring is a straight up Hammershot spring or nah?

The 6-SH is probably the only fortnite blaster I’d ever b interested in. Hell, I’d get 2 just so I could dual wield them 4 no reason other than it’s badass
I do rather like the look of the orange and blue revolver, the long barrel is pretty cool and the handle looks really comfy. As for the Thundershot... it looks pretty garbage; the ergonomics look super wonky, the grip and hammer look uncomfortable and the trigger guard looks very strange. Thanks for the great review Walcom, the new studio seems to be holding up really well and your production quality has improved so much since a few years ago! 💜💚
The best part about the 6-SH is that if you leave off the stupid barrel, you also get rid of the fortnite branding.

I would absolutely chop/leave off the absurdly long and unnecessary barrel from the Fortnite pistol, otherwise I think it's a good hammershot design model... which is something I never thought I would ever say about _anything_ Fortnite related.
