Hey Brother, at the 12.45 min mark just before the fast speed unclipping of the plastic cowling, what was the tool you used to access the clips? Where are the clips and how did you locate them?
I only ask as I'm trying to replace the now deceased CD/DVD burner.

Hi. It's a plastic pry tool. It allows to unclip things without damaging the plastic frame. There are clips all around.

Hi! Everything is good! My problem is the following, my equipment hp omni 220 Defect is turning on, however, I notice the screen image very weak as if the brightness had been reduced to the maximum.
The HP logo appears followed by the operating system, but the screen is always weak.
I removed the HD, then the memories, cleaned the contacts and the problem of the dimmed screen very low in luminosity persisted.
Hi. That is a defective backlight of the display. Nothing to do with the rest of the computer. Either the backlight driver is defective, or the light source itself.

No. It might light up randomly sometimes, but in the end it needs to be replaced.

Tried a reflow off video, but it did not help. Maybe the video chip is dead on that board.
Are what the jumpers near the ram slots ?
Probably to reset the bios, but I don't remember for sure.

Hi I wanted to open my all in one up I have this exact model but mine does not have a tv thing. So after closing it down half of my screen was darker do you know why that might be like that and are their any possible fixes.
Is it only a bit darker? Could be a LCD backlight problem.

@@UltimateDIY i am back, I am having issues with my wifi card, so 1 year ago the internal wifi card broke, and I got a USB wifi dongle, but it started to crash, I booted into live ubuntu and I saw that it kept on saying
PCIEHP CONNECTED
PCIEHP DISCONNECTED
It was not exactly like this but it was close
Any way I can fix this?
