Same problem for an old hp e-pc e-vectra that I got. Power adapter works, but it won't turn on.
Its a HP POS 2.0 Model. Sorin's hand is as big as the MB! Of course, Soldered in ram so when the ram dies its not easily replaceable, The fan dies? --- Crack it open again. I wonder when they will just get rid of the ram slots?
I had same hp all in one almost same like this, and follow to remove the battery and reset and it's working. After 3 days back problem again no power on. HP computer sometime make me sick.

Such an easy thing to design a reset hole to jump pins surprised unplugging and draining power didn’t fix it I guess battery can hold 3v for many years.
havent fixed the no power issue on the 24- G018? looks very similar to this model but there is no cmos reset button and im stuck

Would you know how to fix blinking screen. Here is what I mean. I turn on the HP (same model as in this video) and it pass Hp black screen, next it is trying to show HP desktop screen but it is blinking between blue screen and desktop with a clock on left side.... and it continues. Restart is not helping at all. Any suggestions?

There is a reset option that works: Hold Windows and "B" and Power button down for 5 to ten seconds and hit Enter button. Should start up.

That worked for mine! Thank you sir. It went to a screen where it restored the BIOS if I remember right. It was back up and running in about ten minutes or so.
Now 2 weeks later it's broken again and this doesn't work now. These HP all in ones are straight garbage.

I agree. HP need to put a reset button outside the computer. Would help the users a lot.

Sir ihave problem short on cpu maybe, its short in 3,3v wich is supply to ic generated 1,2 volt to cpu maybe, i performed volt inject n cpu just warm, how to fix?

Hello I have this same model. It does exactly what you were experiencing. It gets no power I get the light for the ac adapter on the back. When I push the power button it does nothing. I took it apart and tried resetting the cmos battery but still does nothing. Any idea what could be wrong? I suspect the motherboard but if you have had any suggestions

Hi. I like you to please fix my hp 27-n205na aio.
When power supply is connected and press power button then nothing, no lights no fan spin and screen stay blank.
And when I had took back cover off and saw when power supply is connected then white light on the motherboard comes on and it stays on all the time but computer doesn't work.

A long (more than 15 seconds) press of the power button, should probaly have done the job. Do this with no power supply connected (not connecting anything). This is a common hard reset method on HP devices. Don't forget the removable battery when you are using this method on a laptop/notebook etc.

Hi you just have to update the bios. Install hp support assistant to solve the problem. I know many are afraid to upgrade the bios, because they think it will damage the computer. But NO hp does not make updates for fun. Could you make a video about that ??? Some people think the drivers cost money ITS FREE
also try measure the battery voltage, a failing lower 3.0V battery maybe causes the cmos hang.
some server board will even not able to power on with cmos battery depleted.

Latest HP laptops have only 1 memory slot and yet they charge nearly £600 for a basic model. Corporate greed over providing good products. I suppose it just means more money for Apple?
Probobly after reseting super IO microcontroler, would be nice to update BIOS. Sence it freeze, probobly that was error in program and not in Super IO or circuit itself. Who nows, maybe that was well known issue and they patched BIOS.

the same issue with some notebook...it looks like there are dead but its just the battery.....but you cant handle this easy, you have to disessembly the whole computer!! its pure scam....they scam the customer to buy a new one....

Man what ever i service.. first i take a look on TH-cam for secret screws. I have serviced same machine to upgrade ram and hdd. The reason for no reset button is coat !!!! Cost!! Makes rubbish... Cause imagine that the four cores hp i have upgraded had only single channel ram!! One socket so you can not add extra ram to dual channel... As also throw to garbage ex 4 gb so dimm module.. to replace with 8gb module. Stupid cost!! All for money man.
