    Color codes are a big plus! I just discovered this company and their kits and I love it. Sad part is they still seem to have supply issues with some stuff.

      Glad you love our stuff! We're working on the supply issues, but the vast majority of our gear is in stock and ready to go!

    I need something right in the middle. Like a the sidekick but with stuff for larger wound dressings. Just add some gause and tape and nonstick pads some butterfly closures and maybe a pair of trauma shears

      Hey Luke, then you may be interested in our Prevention kit! It's got stuff for small everyday injuries but also has trauma shears, a tourniquet, and ZZIPS closure strips!

      @@MyMedic if you could pack the prevention kit into one of these IFAK kits (size between mini and side kick), include the color coding patches + removable belt (that is hidden behind the pack) - THAT would be more than great! The IFAK mini is pretty big.

    As a first respoder, these kits are good for small day hikes. Also check up on your state good samartian laws in case if you do forsee yourself practicing with these materials. Also, if you are not an emt, paramedic, nurse, wilderness first aid, wilderness first responder, etc; remember that it is not your scope of practice so seek higher help. Great unboxing

      For the scope of practice comment, the whole point of a kit is to preserve life that way you can live long enough to receive higher care, better advice is to train and become extremely familiar with the equipment you carry so you don’t do more harm than good.

      @@Pugrug. No need to tell me something I already knew. Thank you though and have a blessed day.

      @@ArrowVelocity You don’t need to be a first responder or medical professional to make a difference. Don’t know why you would say it’s not the scope of practice for a civilian to help. As a first responder you should know that your advice isn’t the best.

    Isn’t that a little big to put on a plate carrier? I feel that’s kind of the intent with it

    • @MyMedic
      @MyMedic ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You could, but it'd be very bulky and in the way! Most people mount this kit on the back of their car headrests or on MOLLE panels. If you want something for a plate carrier, we recommend our Everyday Carry or the TFAK!
