I was in the same position as you. Auto Hellcats are the better daily but I have a daily already. Deep down I always wanted 13/14 gt500 more than a hellcat. Loved every second when got to drive a hellcat though
@@liftingandshifting9086 I feeel that! My last 500 was a, 11, loved it. Did the lethal Offroad with nGauge and corsa muffs. Sounded absolutely amazing and my 6yo at the rime loved it too hahahah. But yeah man, I can’t pay the 13/14 prices for something that old and to be a daily. I wish the prices were pre Covid. Now they are in the 50/60`s, pre was low/mid40`s.
@14' Gt500 here they did it to increase airflow max because of the 200 mph thing. I think trying to make it go 200 was a mistake it messed the gearing up for average street driving and probably less than 1% of owners ever try anything near 200 mph. Ford must have agreed because the new gt500 is limited to 180 or something like that.

@@liftingandshifting9086 don't get E85. It is 100 octane. But made mine not run right. I got the octane boost at autozone. And added it to 93 octane pump gas. You have to mix it yourself, but makes a huge difference. I run mine at 102 to 105 octane. Depending on how you mix it. The horse power really comes alive. I was told by an expert that E85 had larger molecules in the fuel. And caused problems with the fuel injectors. You should only run E85 in cars designed for it.
forget e85. my 14 gt500 put down 690 on a mustang dyno after just pulley, 67mm tb, jlt cold air, kooks headers. its an entirely different animal. just make sure you have money for a clutch too. mine lasted about 10k miles after mods lol she how has a McCloud 1200
@sykal you could have probably did 750 on e85 with the same pulley. E85 is always better if you can swing it meaning is there enough availability where you live and you gotta do an aftermarket fuel system to get full benefits from it.
