I predict Sam Obisayna gets some revenge on Edwin Okufo when Simi releases the video footage of Edwin's visit to Ola. After the break in and vandalism at Ola, Sam asks his dad about new security measures including cameras.
Actually, Man City is still in control of the Premier League Championship. They still lead by one point over Richmond. If Man City wins their last game they win the Championship regardless of what Richmond does. Richmond can win their last game against probably West Ham but still fall short by one point at the end. Can't always get what you want.
I don’t think Rebecca ends up with anybody. She may end up being in a relationship in the future, probably with someone we haven’t seen in the show, but she’s healthy on her own right now. If she ends up with someone we’ve seen, the best fit would be the mystery man in Amsterdam. As for the prediction about her becoming a mother, I think that’s metaphorical for now.
To me the thing about her buying a horse seemed too out of place to have been accidental. I wonder if that's a euphemism for going to buy a houseboat or something else related to Rebecca establishing a presence in Amsterdam. I wonder if there was anything in the pink bedroom belonging to that dude's daughter that hinted at a love of horses maybe?
There's no indication Michelle was with the Doctor before the Divorce. Not even a hint of it. What's debatable is if the Doctor gave the advice to push Ted away to free her up so he could date her (basically that Michelle was manipulated). I was assuming Holland boat guy comes back, kid in tow, for Rebecca. But now I'm not so sure. I now think the part of last episode with Bex and Rupert's ex-Assistant showing up can't be something little. I think the Assistant got Pregnant and Rupert kicked her to the Curb. She went to Bex (who I bet leaves Rupert) and Bex took her to Rebecca. Why? Because Bex absorbed from Rupert's cruel campaign against Rebecca that he was using mention of their baby to torture Rebecca. She knows Rebecca wants a child and might be open to a private adoption.
I think there was contact well before she signed the papers, even just flirting or "just friends coffee". She certainly didn't accidentally decide she kind of liked him after they finished therapy. In my opinion anyway
@@AdamfromFWCIOh, he's definitely going back. I also thought that was given. Especially with all the Wizard of Oz/No way like home references. Was that one of your 5 predictions? I've got a mind like a goldfish (reference) and anything I think is obvious I tend to not retain. 😂
@@AdamfromFWCI I don't know. I think of Ted and Beard as a pretty much permanent unit. Or has Beard outgrown his need for Ted? My REAL burning question: will we find out Beard's first name???
I had a dream last night where I was called into the Ted Lasso writer's room. The writers were all doing yoga stretches and other exercises. Jason's desk was right next to the door, as you walk in the room. I was waiting by his desk when he asked me what I wanted to see happen in the last episode. All I said was "I don't want Nate to be happy" and "the things he said to Collin were unforgivable". And that was the end of the dream. So, what's next? Have you considered watching Severance? There's just one season so far - so not a huge commitment. But, it's so weird and you never know what's going on. Could be fun.
!0. I don't think Mae's pub will be a big part of the final episode. Not like you were suggesting, ie it getting sold to someone or other. 9. No idea what will happen with Sassy, but I ship her and Ted, and would love to see more of her. 8. Trent Crimm's book probably won't be a big part of the finale. 7. This won't come up in the finale. 6. This is the thing that will be covered quite heavily in the finale. And we shall see. 5. Hopefully the guy from Holland. 4. Like all toxic people (in my life) I literally don't give a fuck whether we see him again or not. 3. AFC Richmond 2. Nate will probably want to apologize at length, but Ted probably won't make him prostrate himself too much. 1 We shall see.
Based on the series to date, I think the following are safe / safe'ish predictions... - These tertiary characters like Ms. Bowen, Sassy, etc, served their purpose. We won't see them again, at least in significant roles w/r/t our show leads. - Because of Trent's book, I think there WILL be a time jump. The question is if it's a big chunk of the ep, or at the end. But I think we'll see the book. - I think we came full circle on the Rebecca/Rupert story, so I don't know that we'll see him again, unless Sudeikis just wants to be nice to all the semi-regulars. And since they started Rupert on a tiny redemption arc out of nowhere for some reason, if we do see him, I think Bex will leave him, & he'll apologize to Rebecca for being a crappy husband, and affirm the previous olive branch. - Nate's not going to be the kit man, and Nate's not going to apologize to West Ham, as we didn't establish any characters on that end except for Rupert, and he ain't apologizing to Rupert. Nate will definitely be a coach for Richmond, and either he or Roy will be the head coach (though I'm leaning towards Nate). --- Colin's BF will celebrate with him post game, win or lose. - Keeley + Roy ... Jamie + NOT Roy's sister ... MAYBE Amsterdam dude comes to see Rebecca ... Beard stays on with Richmond ... Rupert keeps West Ham, again, because of the weird arc. ...and of course... as Ted has set up every part of the Richmond organization for a post-Ted future, and as he misses his son, Ted returns home. Maybe they'll indicate a possibility of a reconciliation, although the last ep with Michelle already hinted on that so they don't need to spell it out. Also hopefully, he's offered a coaching position with an MLS or "uni" soccer team. - I enjoy your reaction videos... BUT... NO one was wondering what the fate of Mae's Pub is 😄 And Rebecca isn't just going to "give" the team to anyone. Especially Nate. Though if she does sell it, I'm sure she''ll make it contingent upon Higgins staying on.
I want to know why Rebecca is buying a horse. Jeremy buying the pub? I have a feeling that he, Baz and Paul tend to drink away their savings. Well, maybe not Paul. I want to see Van Damme get his proper acclaim for his stellar saves against Man City.
I think Ted leaves and Beard stays in the UK. I think Nate is on the coaching staff. I'm not really sure who would take the head coach, either Roy or Nate. I am both excited and sad for the finale coming up.
I just had a horrfying thought while watching you speculate about Jamie & Roy's Sister. What if Phoebe's father is effing Rupert? 🤮 Even rich people end up at hospitals on occasion. Might be another reason that we never saw her around Nelson Road or the team. She is certainly much fitter than most of the other women we have seen Rupert with/trying to get with. All we know about Phoebe's father is Roy telling Leann (Ms. Bowen) that her father is a (living) "piece of $hl+." I could easily see Roy knowing this but never telling Keeley or Rebecca to spare Rebecca's feelings.
@@AdamfromFWCI For sure. But they have spent 3 seasons focusing on the impacts that parents have on their kids, and I can't think of any others they have left 'mysterious' at this point. Except maybe Nora - was Sassy ever married? 🤔 Oh no! Maybe she is Rupert's too! 🤣
Seasons 1 and 2 ended on the same character they started on… I bet it’s Ted in the airport as the last scene because that’s where the season started
The whole finale is Trent’s book. A synopsis of each character… like you said, looking back from a couple of years down the road.
Don't worry about Trent's book. It will be published in RL pretty soon.
I'm almost 100% sure of that.
I like your focus on ancillary character arcs. I'm only three in and you have some good takes.
I like your use of the word "Ancillary"
