The Shaw's Visit York

Hey Guys, just a little day trip to York that we wanted to share with you all. York is steeped in history and full of stories of ghosts. As a family very interested in the paranormal and crystals, we were really excited to go and experience the much loved city. One of the shops to mention that we captured in the video was the Shared Earth which sells Fair trade, Eco and Ethical gifts. We then called off for lunch at the Slug & Lettuce York Swinegate as we also love a cocktail or 2. The service was exceptional, but we have found that to be the case in all their restaurants. It also needs mentioning that the York Gin shop is also worth a visit. We, or rather Georgina, got to sample some of their flavours and given a run down of the manufacturing process and given advice on what each gin should be paired with to get the maximum flavours through, so of course we came home with some. To end our trip we had a stroll through the famous cobbled lanes where you find shops selling all sorts, from pasties to Harry Potter potion drinks, which you have made up yourself.
