The short of it is he eats and drinks with the Gods, does some stupid stuff, marries his niece who is a child, he dies and gets is supposed to get chained in Hades, but he chains up death instead. This pisses of Ares, and for that he is damned to push a rock up a hill for eternity. That is the abridged version of the story.
The "Nyx is the mother of all evil" entry is probably referencing how Nyx has many children that are disliked (most aren’t really evil). Thanatos (peaceful death), Moros (doom), Geras (Old age), Oizys (Misery), and the Morai (Fates) are usually not well liked but not inherently evil. The Keres (Violent death creatures) and Eris (Discord) are the ones that could possibly seen as evil.
