Im sure your momma tell u that all the time
That is why people should migrate if the government cannot provide housing for the singles !
Agree with her tell me which marriage or married couples are happy, most just clinging on for the sake of kids, wrong values passed on to the kids when both parents start looking for love out of marriage, and they make use of singles eventually..haha..so best marriage is individual decision and singles should be given equal opportunity in jobs(give them parental leave to take parents to hospital appointments just like child care leave)!and also equal opportunity to buy and own a HDB flat.
Host
you won't go for hdb
you cannot bcuz
you can afford /consider private housing
So what does getting a flat has to do with marrying the right person???? The two are not related. Stupid question.
Typical Singapore approach to planning!
There will never be the "right" person. 2 person being tgt is about accepting & compromising.
"If you marry the wrong person, how? " In that lies her problem...
Perhaps allow us to bto from age of 30 then at least by 35 would get a flat :(
Totally agree. Applying bto at the age of 35, we wllill only get our flat at 40 😢😢
Mr. Wong what kind of house do u live in? An HDB or not.
Probably landed property
Just come to Johor Bahru, we have a lot of home here.😁✌️
Johor is the solution to alot of SG problems, but no govt too arrogant to allow it
Start a house in JB lor....
Funny thing, people in Indonesia want campervans instead of big houses. People can travel a lot, no need to pay accomodation, go to sleep while recharging the van, working online, low budget lifestyle as a Digital nomads
howabout staying at Batam Houses ? its only about 40mts from HarbourFront
PM ,you are right. Some wana buy good locations . Buy ,resale elsewhere estates.
Sex at the staircase due to lack of land...
Walao doing legal activity in a illegal way 🤣🤣🤣
China is huge, enough land to live on your own.
Yet the Singapore government wants people have more kids and to keep opening the door Chinese citizens. Want more space, decrease both
The challenge is people are changing and living a different lifestyle but the government is forcing them to live in a traditionalist way
Divorced guy advising pple to find the right person
Forest city have many empty unit waiting for Singaporean to buy.
How about now, flat rent increasing, salaries are not.
Then why are there someone that live in a house that is 50 times a hdb 4 rooms flat size. Isn't that contradicting
Smart reply from LW, “don’t do it for the sake of the flat.” Nice one. 👍
Move to Batam. Boat to Singapore every morning
since i have no real solution and tbh dont care, let me jus smile and ministerplain my way out of this
I wish to apply for a BTO to settle down too but I am not willing to pay that extra $100k out-of-the-air valuation for that land price in bto. I have paid enough for this piece land via MINDEF. Since that is not possible, I will have to sacrifice that dream along with my duty to MINDEf in times of crisis.
married but no hdb.😢😢
Get married, rightly said. 😂
SG is below replacement rate and this guy talks about not enough land😂
Why move out? Can’t get a long with parents is it 😅 weird nowadays young gen have these issues maybe influenced by Angmo culture
Build mini studio flat
Build lots of one room flats for single. It's bigger than a hotel room.
I just started learning about Singapore and so far everything I’ve learned is wonderful I am trying to learn all I can about LKY.
For those of you living day to day in Singapore: how is life really over there?
That’s honest at least 😢
That’s not my problem… same thing for graves. If 90%of the population die instantaneously the rest gotta pick up the shovel and start digging
Too picky and demanding 😂😅😂
Sir, can you pls impose a hefty penalty to those foreigners converted Singaporeans for giving up their citizenship later on and sold flat at huge profits from their BTOs?
I would like to sign up as candidate for her HDB purchase plan 🙋🏻
We definitely need to find a another planet fast😊
You can buy a private flat.....
If you marry the wrong person it's another issue 😂. On a serious note, the scarcity of land in Singapore, priority must always be given to married couples to own a flat. In the end the Deputy Prime Minister hopes she finds the right person!🙂👍
Most Boomer married before 30....
Can . Sure can build more HK style shoebox units . They can move out when they start family, and the elderly trying to downsize can move in . Plenty of demand from young and old
That's why I chose "don't recommend" CNA, stuoid questions...
COME TO JAKARTA, INDONESIA... MANY CHEAP APARTEMENTS HERE OR BIG HOUSES IF YOU ARE MARRIED TO RICH INDONESIAN MAN...
Come and stay in Johore Baru. 😂😂😂
Built Higher😊...good price appreciation too🙏🙏 many kids can't afford soon
As of 2023, Dubai in the United Arab Emirates is home to six of the ten tallest residential buildings in the world.
How come he so Young can become Singapore PM?
I get the feeling it's like , don't get married become homeless. Housing is a basic necessity, and not a bargaining tool for the government to get people to reproduce.
That's the red flag 30s and on my own. Not hopefully find the right person, find a person 💕💕💕
