Wow I miss home alot makes me feel so enlightened and proud to be a Jamaican...Jamaica has come a far way we as black people just need to come together and unite especially Jamaicans we have such rich legacy and culture if we all worked together Jamaica would be the perfect place to live prosper and retired...on the other hand i am 31 years old and am from ocho Rios st Ann parish I remember the days when we were heading into Kingston before the development of the motorway and there would be bumper to bumper traffic when entering mandela highway this was a disaster not to mention the infamous flat bridge and mount rosser hill😅
Thank you very much for all the information you shared, and for the speed competitions which had me holding on to my chair. This highway has opened up so many possibilities, I do hope that it is self sustaining.
i was watching this video regarding the Highway which coming from the ocho rios area , & was also listening to the good commetatin of that Gentleman of whom was behind the video pic, one thing i almost disagreed with is : even though He given the name of the places to be exact, i think that everytime he is giving the name of the place to be exact, i think that he should always give the name of the place, & the location of it at the same tine especially for people from abroad of whom are unfamiliar to this country ( JAMAICA ) before.
There are many jamaican descendants people living in Panama since a long time ago. Panama look more like a central American and a Caribbean island country than a South American country.
Yes, he has a heavy accent but he is very knowledgeable and the content of his videos is very informative. Just ignore the accent pay attention to the content and you might learn something or he might remind you of some information u just happen to forget about, his videos are very good tho, just saying
@@lovelylady1110 No disrespect meant. I'm sure he is all that you say he is, but not enough to make me take a Real Time journey with him to Kingston.. There's a channel called True Jamaica Buzz that uses dash cam footage as a "back drop" to his comments . Those are short and sweet. The only trouble with his footage is that you have to be good at reading road signs, because he refuses to say where he was passing through..
Jamaica 🇯🇲 is my favorite place to visit.

The ( Ochoa Rio's to Kingston) leg of the north/ south highway - definitely more scenic!!!!
Ocho Rios used to be so quiet and less populated 20 years ago. It’s sad how congested it is today.

It's all Jamaican to me and easily understood
@@robinrose507 Read my message again. I did not say I couldn't understand him. I said I couldn't Stand the accent.
Seaga was against the building of the highway. Hypocritical to name it after him.
