    The trip from Kingston to Ocho Rios via Toll Road was awesome! Thank you so much.Its the first very detailed look of some of the Island I've seen uploaded by anyone.You're very kind,caring and patient,it's appealing to me,someone who've not had the privilege of visiting since I left many years ago! It's so thrilled to see how extremely modernized it is,possibly shocking somewhat..lol! Much of the route you took,compares to that of the US for example😁If you're Jamaican, I know you love it there, and if you were visiting,I can only hope you enjoyed your tour and stay as well as fall in love with our picturesque Island and friendly folks! I look forward to seeing more very fascinatingly wonderful uploads from you! I applaud you..Much appreciated❤

    This TH-cam channel captures various aspects that are so beneficial to brand Jamaica and Jamaicans.
    Persons commenting about their youth days, citing various areas where they used to go to school, live and play.
    The historical landmarks that are shown and development throughout the years.
    The diversity of the sceneries present: cities, inner cities, landscapes, farms, animals, the sky etc.
    The general advertising of Jamaica to past visitors, current visitors and future visitors.
    This might be the best Jamaican traveling channel on TH-cam, no unnecessary commentary, no unnecessary background music. It's pure, authentic and Jamaican.
    Please don't delete this channel, it stands as a book cover for Jamaica. Keep up the good work.

    Yo InJamaica, I never knew Ocho Rios, so I decided to take a ride with you.
    First, I must says it was a safe drive, I enjoyed the names of streets, roads, Highways, places, and towns.
    Secondly, I want you to know that I appreciated your patience. Especially, when the bike blew passed us! Yo, it was fun doubt, although you never played no reggae or Dancehall music while driving with you.

      Don't listen to hear it takes way more than 4 hours to travel Jamaica. I do admit our island is small compared to some but play us like that. She ain't even Jamaican.

    • @kingnaldo4058
      @kingnaldo4058 3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      @@heinuchung8680 Negative *Jamaica* is much larger than four hours around it...
      The true circumference is 635 miles around the island of *Jamaica* However the driving distance is only about 398 miles using the major roads which takes *14 to 16 hours* to complete.
      Also driving along the north coast from *Negril* to *Morant Point* takes 6 hours 30 minutes at 210 miles is almost the exact distance from *Washington DC* to *Brooklyn, NY* ..... Infact you can fit the entire *Eastern Caribbean Islands* in *Jamaica* and still have space remaining. That's not a small island by any means🤔

      @@kingnaldo4058 finally someone who got it right. I really don't think Jamaica is small as to how people make it seems but it's really a long drive. I did that drive from west to east before and it was 15 to16 hr drive from west to east. So idk how this guy said 4, like wtf?

    A group of us are visiting Jamaica nxt month & trying to figure out the BEST & least expensive way to get to ocho Rios. So the dilemma is should we fly into Kingston or Montego Bay?

    • @InJamaica
      @InJamaica  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Kingston is a shorter route but I not sure of the cost from either Montego Bay or Kingston to Ocho Rios to give a price comparison

      Montegp bay , its a no brainer if you're staying in Ochi.

    Luda crist, what do you think of when you think of Ocho Rios? Jamaica's most sophisticated, opulent, desirable, modern, contemporary chic, plus adventurous and livable international platinum playground for the global elite traveler !!!! So Mandela Highway is open--- nice to see Kingston keeping up.

    I lived in Kingston from 1957 to 1965 and have only been back once on a cruise. I would love to go back and take this drive shown in this video. Do you have any special advice for tourists renting a car and driving in Jamaica?

    I assume there is no speed limit on those big highways 🛣. And your engine might explode one day. You put that pedal to the floor.
    But that’s a nice vid. I enjoyed 👍🏽. Just try not to blow your engine. Lol.
