Keep up the driving, best Videos, cause it shows us places that we have been, and Missed, and also places we can travel to when we Return. Love it.Drive Good. Stay Safe. Blessings.
THANKS FOR sharing your videos with us, it helps us JAMAICAN who's living in other countries to SEE how much our country has changed. I enjoyed watching this whole video because I haven't been that side in a long time. Planning to visit next month. CAN'T WAIT 😎😎👍👍🇯🇲🇯🇲🇨🇦🇨🇦
What a wonderful drive! Brings back so many scenic memories. I am glad to see those huge mango trees lining the road by Ferry are still there. You are doing a great job!
We have a neighbor who is from Jamaica. He is so happy and joyful. He made us Jerk Chicken Saturday and it was great.i will enjoy watching this video. He lived in Ocho Rios.i can tell he misses his home when he talks about the beauty of Jamaica-the clear blue waters, the mountains, the music, the people of his homeland.we are blessed to know him
I enjoyed your trip. It took me back to 1975 when I traveled the same route once per week. I left Jamaica since then. Last time I visited was 1997, things are so different now. My entire family is living in the states. Thanks again,
I remember this route quite well, in the ' 70's I would travel this way to Ochi Rios enroute to St. Mary, where I spent one year as an Intern Teacher at Jack's River Primary School. Thanks for taking me on this journey with you, it was worth watching and reminiscing on my days of travelling back then.
Excellent work!! I love how you tagged the landmarks and intersections it brings back so many memories. I really enjoy this journey with you. Keep up the good work . Thank you for sharing.
This video really open my eyes to the unblemished beauty of Jamaica land we love. Clarity was really good I could show my family who have never seen the country so much places that I am very familiar with. Great work
I am a born jamaican and I love my country so much. I maybe living abroad but Jamaica is still my home. I have many family members still living there and I don't forget about them. I was not suffering when I was living there because I worked for the government of Jamaica. But I got the opportunity to join my family abroad and I took it. It was a good move because I have children and I knew that I would want even one to go to college. Yes it did happened because I couldn't afford any college tuition for any of them. Now I am a proud mother because they are doing well. Myself went to school here in the United states and get a career of wish I am proud of myself. One love sweet sweet Jamaica
@Monica Pinnock I am happy to learn your decision worked out well for you. Thank you for watching and please subscribe to InJamaica TH-cam Channel for more videos of Jamaica. Blessings and be safe
Thoroughly enjoyed this, after countless hours on the road in Jamaica, and as a retired driver, even the sound of the engine! 😊. Makes me even more anxious to return🇯🇲❤️😊 Soon come!👍🏻
Can't believe I watched the whole video. Brings back a lot of memories. Used to take us like 3 hrs from Portmore to Ocho Rios. Spending Easter weekends at the resorts was awesome. Last time was at Jamaica Grande in 2003
Hi Angela, are you 3rd gen Jamaican Chinese? Just curious; i am 3rd gen Mauritian Chinese (Mauritius-island in the Indian Ocean) the story of our grand parents is so amazing!
I've been waiting for this for days now. Beautiful video, but it got intrested when you reach Milford rd Ocho Rios. Lol. That rural road though. Legendary!!!!!!!!!
Thank you for the interesting tour. I lived in jamaicia many moins ago.and i am sure i would have driven on this road. I also visited montego bay four years ago and drove on the new highway.
Good video.. they are doing same in Africa.. showing area threw road trips.. in different show things you can do at night and the day.. mention how safe it is for tourists. I been coming for past 3 years.. I been there 6 times.. i luv back road..lol..
Best video of beautiful Jamaica so far, nice video but I ave 1 likkle problem...wen u showing d name of each place or ting u driving pass d arrow is pointing to d wrong direction on sum of dem but nice video tho really appreciate d effort u took out of ur 24 hrs to do dis for us..I miss Jamaica
I am a Little confused ,which is all my fault. When you left downtown going west, is ocean boulevard the street that use to be called Foreshore road, where there was a little airport and the oil refinery. If it is the same place, that's where back-o-wall use to be and thats where they use to take all the garbage from all over Kinston and that's what the Desmond Dekker and the Acese song,"shanty town" was all about and that's when i took the 4:00 pm train to Montego Bay and only went back once to get my passport. Thank You for these little tours, they help to widen my knowledge of Jamaica because i have only been to Kingston,Montego bay and Mandeville.
Good video....note tho...that St Catherine parish begins right at that bridge before Hydel....Ferry is in St Catherine....not St Andrew.. the dunany river forms the border. Hope they put the sign back at that spot. It was removed further up near to the toll ramp to facilitate the Mandela highway upgrading work...hope they put it back where it should be. But great video.
No problem @JaWade. Thanks for watching I was looking for the sign and I know the border was in that region. Tell me exactly at what timeline in the video is the border
Love the DRIVE brings memory wish I COULD return home and pick up from where I LEFT. I am now a much BETTER PERSON and in a..RETIRED State of mind owing no one ANYTHING....
This is a nice video and it is actually quite scenic driving via the non-toll route. I watched the video of the toll road route and that is nice too. I thought of how much Jamaica will pay China for this highway and the debt. Also, Jamaica has given China 1,200 acres of land around the new highway. Who is really going to benefit the most?
Hello InJamaica. once again an awesome video from you to us to watch and enjoy thank you so much. if it is at all possible could you do a drive in ASKENISH? peace and love from the UK.
Nice scenic drive on the back roads, which doesn't take much more time and saves cash starved ordinary folk nearly £7 UK Pounds each way. There is more chance to stop somewhere along the way for refreshments.
