Cheers Vince. Best CAN BUS faulting information i've ever came across, explains fault tracing so well. If any technician can't understand this guide he should not be messing with your vehicle. Brilliant **********
Sorry, no used or rental units available. To study this module you must have the H-111 Starter Kit, another module, the 1st one of the 5. CAN Bus H-200 is the 5th module in the series of 5 electrical circuit board trainers. These are being sold off in sets of 5 to reduce inventory evenly. See www.veejer.com for details.
i seen 250ish ohm one time when checking the system with the key on instead of off, with key off and everything asleep it went back to 60 ohm, just a variable i seen but wasnt just 250ohm at one point it was 500ohm so it seems we must be diligent in making sure there is no voltage present when taking the ohm test and it somthing that could be easily overlooked and have you chasing you tail
Sir if you measure 60 ohms in the dlc that the module you are working is not working is it possible that the voltage drop in the voltage side or ground side is abnormal? Tnx
This only has to be done when a module cannot communicate with the CAN Bus. It's one of those things that sometimes is overlooked or may not have been explained in other CAN Bus training programs. It also has to be performed correctly and with understanding what could be wrong if the reading is 60 ohms, 120 ohms, or 240 ohms.
If the wire connecting the two termination resistors is open on the + side or the - side and your ohmmeter test leads are at each end of the open wire the ohmmeter will see the two 20 ohms resistors in series.
After seeing this posted I would agree. I tend to go slower because when I taught this in classes I had to repeat a lot of things to help techs understand. I thought a slower approach on the video would help.

Instablaster...
This is by far the best instructional videos I have seen on can networks.
Beautiful, keep making video, im buying the book Thanks
Is this topic covered is your "60 lessons course"? Is the content from this book - "H-WB200" avaliable in it?
I would kill to have this available, so darned expensive though… used, or rent?

Thank you
You're welcome
Will this training kit also allow you to observe the can bus through waveform as well?
No. the actual CAN Bus signal is not present. Too expensive to create and make trainer affordable.
My DTC code says can to Cluster error? Could this problem be in the can bus
I would love to train at this. Excellent video and excellent workbook.
Could you please inform on where to purchase the training material
Got to www.veejer.com
You are sharp. Thanks.
I Know this an old video, by using an Arduino or Rasberry Pie board can simulate the circuit required.
very nice i like it im from indonesia i have a problem can bus with my cls 55 amg can you help me please?
Sir if you measure 60 ohms in the dlc that the module you are working is not working is it possible that the voltage drop in the voltage side or ground side is abnormal? Tnx
Yes it is possible, this link explains our CAN Bus training.

In a vehicle with 70 modules I cannot imagine ohming each wire from the dlc to each module on 2 wires. Clearly there is a better way ?

That would be a nightmare, I agree. But this is one of the things you have to do when a particular node on the CAN Bus network reports a problem.
Where can i get this booklet?
Thx
Use this link: www.veejer.com/handson.html Scroll down to H-200 and you will find a purchase link for the CAN Bus workbook H-WB200.
Go to this web page www.veejer.com/CAN_Bus_Training_Options.html

شكرا لك على هذا الموضوع أستاذ فهمت رغم اللغة
WTF
Do you sell ebook?
It was great could you explain how we get 240. Ohm resistance, either they are good connected 60 ohm or open 120 ohm
Thanks

how much is that work book?
Go to www.veejer.com for all the details. The book without the circuit board won't be too useful.
Where can I buy the kit?

The best way to hone your skills is to work on someone else's car and get paid for it ;)
I know you are explaining things but I myself would have liked it if you talked faster. Thanks.
youtube have some options... for example click ">" 4 times You will have 2 x speed
