In my Video I made a Huge Mistake to Some and I can sorta understand I failed to show the mileage The Mileage on the 2012 stopped at 621369 which is right at 1 million kilometers....My Step Sons Trucks Odometer on the 2013 just stopped also last week at the same mileage.....You can Google this to Verify that certain years Stop at the Number Trey has been running a Rand McNally GPS logging the additional miles...and its over 1 million plus miles not Kilometers....and update is coming soon Thanks for the Believers I have no reason to Lie Thanks for Watching
Feel Free to watch my Wifes Video To date she has over 300,000 safety miles NOT COUNTING EMPTY MILES with

Exceeding 1 million miles on a truck and keeping it looking in that condition is an indicator of good upbringing. Knowledgeable and respectful to his equipment. Very well done.

@@camodrums I have not had problems with my emissions systems. If you run the diesel long and hard it will be fine. If you run around town idling most of the time, they will be nothing but trouble. Keep it running whenever possible. Stop and starts are not good for them.

@@NuclearSandwich7 You are correct. That is probably why most guys delete their trucks. If you delete it the problems will disappear. It is really not a good idea to purchase a diesel unless you really tow a lot of weight. They are very expensive to take care of properly. I put 150K miles on my trucks per year, they are well taken care of, and have really no issues. Surprisingly trouble free.

@@NuclearSandwich7 90% of people who buy these trucks don't really need diesels. They'd be better off with a gas engine, but having a diesel seems to compensate for their insecurities, because all the big boys have diesels.

Congrats on rolling the million. You should register at the Cummins million mile site. Getting that transmission to hold up is a testament to both your driving style & your maintenance.
I also transport, Airstreams and backhaul Forrest River & Gladiator boats. I was OTR driver & bought a diesel pick up for personal use for mileage to replace a car & some towing. Living near a Mfgr I sort of fell into the business. 744,000 on my 2014 Ram Ecodiesel. It works because Airstreams are all bumper pull and only average 6,500 to 6,800 pounds and are aerodynamic to pull. Average mid 15s towing them & low to mid 14s with the same size box TT towing at 65. Average mid 20s when unloaded. Lol Can average 30 mpg unloaded but I don’t want to drive that slow. So the Airstream & boat nitch is inside the comfortable fuel efficient capabilities of the 1500 platform and the Ecodiesel engine. To start from scratch and contract with other companies I would use the Cummins not that the Fords & GMs can’t do it and hold up.
I should say to make it work well for this truck I use an aftermarket tune with brake plus the factory trailer brake controller & good airbags. The 3.92 & 8 speed has also been great but did have a solenoid go bad at 695k.
Higher Turnover is because people don’t know how to maintain a truck, and or do their own maintenance, run a business, manage finances, manage time, not abuse their equipment etc.
An emissions part, an EGR cooler leaked and ran it low on coolant which cost me a head gasket at 371k. Post tune that part can come out of the equation to eliminate that risk. Similar to you trans and differential fluid every 100k. Mopar Fuel filter/water separator every 30k, Rotella T6 & 10k rated filter every 10k. Hope I’m fortunate enough to have my Ram roll the 1 million mark.

@@joeberry1556 Cummins is a publicly owned company:
For one reason or another, this is a relatively common myth. The notion that Ford Motor Company owns Cummins could be derived from the fact that Ford was a minority shareholder of Cummins' stock in the past, or that Cummins had previously supplied engines for Ford. Yes, for many years you could purchase a brand new Ford with a factory installed Cummins diesel - so long as you were in the market for one of the company's F650/F750 medium duty trucks.
Ford had offered Cummins diesels in their medium duty platforms side-by-side with the Power Stroke and even a Caterpillar option for multiple years. In fact, the 6.7L Cummins Turbodiesel was the only available diesel engine in the 2011-2015 model year F650/F750 (Ford did not initially offer their own 6.7L Power Stroke). Ready for a curve ball? Allison transmissions are also offered in the F650/F750 models!
Cummins set the record straight in their May 2013 newsletter, outlining that Ford Motor Company had purchased 10.8% of the diesel engine manufacturer in 1990. In 1997, those shares were bought back, and as such Ford has not owned a stake in Cummins since. Think of it as an investment for Ford, rather than a strategic partnership. Beyond the medium duty market, there are no additional ties between Ford and Cummins. If you were told that Ford owns or has owned Cummins, your source was blatantly incorrect.

Runs really really strong never had to replace NOTHING beside de Turbo , one set of battery , brake pads, and both front wheel bearing. A good advice replace the CCV filter every 50k miles too. All mopar filters . I do have the aisin , i change oil and filter on that every 100k miles , oil look like new on transmission anytime i change it. Rear end serviced every 50k miles , front every 100k. I calibrate the engine with almost 250 miles but didn't need to much calibration anyways . I love my Ram like a said still running real strong. NOW the new 2019 -2020 with the new upgrade to the 6.7 I'm not to sure if i want one . injector pump going out and metals going to the injectors, feul lines , esct.
