That is awesome... super excited for you! it is such a fantastic truck... best all around vehicle i could think of getting... small enough for the city, big enough to put plywood in, fast enough to put a smile on your face and badass enough to hit the trails... i mean what else is there?!?!?!
Thanks, I only had two on order with no build date still ( 1 order was placed a year ago) I’m a man of action. I found this Saturday morning it just came off the truck Friday with one that was preordered. Just happened to be everything I had ordered on mine with a few extras. I really want to make plans to go out to the Raptor Assault school in Utah. So I jumped on it.
Sweet! Brother just got his. Porsche guy and loves the Raptor. Originally got a nissan pro 4x to keep miles off his Targa and that got him into trucks 😂
I love this truck but after looking at that time I’m so happy I went with a used trx rather than buy this with a markup new. I’m already at a sub 4 just messing around and have never tried to properly launch it.
That’s pretty quick. I’m just gunshot about buying a truck like that used… never know how the previous owner treated it… there are deals to be had and if you have a good feeling, go for it… but I’ve been burned buying used M3s before
I am running it with 93 octane. If it is anything like my old Focus ST it will advance timing with higher octane fuel, not sure this works like that but it’s only a few bucks per fill up so I’m okay going with the 93
You should try baja mode, advance track off. Manual mode. Start in 2nd gear the bump it up to drive after the launch. If I do this with my Bronco it builds 7psi of boost instead of 0-1psi. I'd like to see of it makes any difference on the dragy!
@flaberdoopin No problem! The Bronco still had some torque management going on. But it was a noticeable difference in the launch. I've tried multiple ways to launch it. If you brake boost in 2 wheel drive it won't build any boost but turn on 4x4 and it will.
@flaberdoopin I wish it would let me build boost in 2WD. It would probably spin the 35" tires really easy. I'm sure a custom tune could defeat some of those nannies.

It’s no V8, that’s for sure. I liked the sound of my BMW straight 6 more but it isn’t bad, at least it’s not a 4!

I am with you, the transfer case and the diffs make some noise for sure and there isn't a whole lot they can do to quiet them down.

I did not run Baja mode! What was I thinking. When I get back home from NY I will go back out and try that to see what it can do!
