As a beginner this was one of the most helpful videos! I’ve been trying to get skinny nails but Ive been over filing them to the point that’s it’s not a gradual tapper and I’m left with a notch. Shaping is so much harder than it looks.
I watched this nearly a year ago and just came back to it because I'm getting notches in my sidewalls and it's definitely my form application. Thank you so much for creating these videos for us to go back to. You're the best teachers I've had!

Started doing my own nails due to the pandemic, it's something I've always wanted to learn and that kick started it for me. I'm so grateful for these videos and the information provided, this is a great tool for people who may not be able to get into a class setting, just run these videos over and over until you get it perfect!! I'm so grateful, now I'm not where I want to be but I'm also way further than where I was a year ago!! I can't wait to do my refill!!

Me neither. In almost 30 years I’ve really had some bullshit nails but the ‘foreign chop shops’ are the only thing around. I’d be willing to pay double for someone that actually knew what they were doing including sidewalls and knowing the proper place to build up the apex of my nail.
@@modaciouslav4792 I absolutely would pay a premium price for a great set of nails. I know their game is making money but sometimes it’s also about repeat business and that means you have to give your customers good service. That’s not found around my area.

this. this right here. this is why every set i do looks like a janky mess. i can't shape worth a damn and always wondered why (lucky for me i don't work in a salon, i'm basically just licensed to screw up my own hands) and THIS. my stupid waste of time and money of a nail school wishes they could've taught me as well as you do for free. bless your light.

Thank you SO MUCH for this vid!! Totally going to have this on whenever I do nails to remind me! Sidewalls are always the hardest for me, especially when doing my own nails. I have flat nails and DEEP sidewalls 😬 it's always a struggle to even get a form on correctly bc my skin is always in the way of the corners.

I recently went back to universal tips and I prep my nails , cuticle , remove the shine , etc . Maybe it’s the glue? (it’s not YN glue) but my nails keep falling. What are some tips ?. Going back to forms btw ! Lol . Thank you guys for all your knowledge. It always helps . 🥳

That is my pet peeve area. I have stopped getting my nails done after 20+ years because no salon around me does it right. They will file up into my sidewall so I will no longer have a c curve. My nail will literally be flat when you look at it from the front. I love you guys. I wish you were in Florida.

Great information, ty! I have a chipped thumb nail, it's been very hard to get a form to fit properly! Glad you brought out the ✋ hand! How do you recommend getting tips to stick on the practice hand? I don't want to use up all my forms practicing on the hand.

Question-done full set of acrylic nails on tips and at the end-when nails nearly finished-1 nail is a bit shorter the others-how to fix it? Completely remove and apply new? Or use nail form to extend that shorter nail? What’s your advice YN team? Can you do video on that?or short all the other nails?

Can you please do a video on how to position your clients hand while we are filing and applying an extension, as a newbie I find myself not knowing how tell my client (in this case my sister bc I’m not licensed) how to position her hands and arms while I’m filing especially. I tried to find videos on this but no luck. Is an arm rest necessary? Thanks
