Nice job! Not sure if you realize - the shop sounds are only on the left channel. I made that mistake on one of my videos too. I found out after that my headphones were on mono while I was editing so I didn't notice until it was too late.
Given the small footprint and thin material, it should be impossible for it to break due to wood movement. I also left some small gap on one of the sides.
def get your shop dog some ear covers, had to do this for my german shepherd

I made one of these…but my wife found out and got all upset!!
