The Studio Mk2 is the most underrated and over maligned MPC device in recent history. It is a solid unit. The small screen doesn't matter much. It's mostly a status indicator, not something you would use to drive the overall user experience. It's no MPC One. It's not even a MPC Studio. It's a cheap entry point to the MPC software and methods. That is what it should be judged on. A controller to drive the software.
The only thing I think is missing from it is a "general" controller mode. Like double tap the mode button to go into "general" mode. That way when you use mouse to click a parameter- you should be able to use Data wheel to control that parameter as well.

It’s a controller for those who don’t want a standalone. Pretty solid unit for the package.
