Akai MPC Studio - Getting Started - USB Connection, MPC 2 Software Installation, First Use

- If you have the MPC Studio controller and are wondering how to get started, this video is for you! I go step by step through the process of downloading and installing the included software (including the MPC 2 DAW), connecting the MPC Studio controller to the computer, and going through selecting a plugin and playing the MPC Studio for the first time!
Being a first time user of Akai MPC products, I had a little trouble figuring out how to actually use the MPC Studio with the included MPC 2 software without installing any of the sound packs/sound expansions. Hopefully this video helps you if you are struggling with the same thing!

Hey DSoundman, i got a little problem. I got an Account, i registred my MPC Studio Black with the serial number. I got the software (MPC 2), but what i need is the MPC Studio software manager. I cant find it at InMusic at: software Downloads. Even the one in software downloads - Mpc studio 2 installer brings me to the mc studio 2 software and sadly not to the software manager...(as you said). so i got no access to the packs or other things. Please help me. I really need your help, would be great. Thanks!

MPC Studio, which is the name shared by two earlier versions (studio and studio black) that are very much not the mpc studio 2?

I dont know how to go back to the beginig i already dowloaded the ilok and the mpc but i cant get it to work and i dont see the same setup as your teaching, Im so confused a week and still no playing

Any info on how to connect a midi keyboard to the mpc studio so you can play keys instead of pads?
Key groups will change the last pad to a chromatic progression on 16 levels function then the keyboard will play the sample or switch to vst mode and then it will work too

The MPC Studio comes with two MIDI converters (1/8 in. to 5-Pin) and so you'll need a 5-Pin MIDI cable to go from those to your midi keyboard. That should allow you to play sounds on the keyboard instead of using the MPC Studio pads. I have a video in the plans to walk step by step through the process!
@@DSoundman true but you cannot change the midi c1 d1 a5 cc notes it will not save in the software

MPC studio won't download even after I've created an account. Hello
MPC beats dont work on My computer, odd sound glitches and visual glitches and random deleting of midi notes making it unusable.
Sounds like it’s conflicting with something else on your computer. Have you tried reaching out to customer support?
@@DSoundman I posted same comment on there TH-cam channel, they commented that they are sorry to hear I'm having issues with MPC beats and to contact customer support.
This didn’t work I need a dumb license to use mpc like wtf pls help me. I really don’t understand. It says activation is required and I don’t have a license
