Owned my mpc studio for a few days now and this is by far the best guide I've seen! There's a ton of useful information in this video and I will certainly double and triple back to master what you have taught. Amazing job!
Fun, fun course! Yes, "course"! I absolutely loved the moment when youse discovered the double tap, and how without any concern or hesitation at all, you embraced learning. This is what makes a lecturer a great one, imo. First time I watched your content, but if I may say, also how you interact with each other in the team there, makes it even more dynamic and engaging. Super humble, chill and fun video. Kudos, and thanks a lot
I am glad to say that I am not the only one feeling that the better work process is to have the filters placed on later during the song making process . This equipment has made it so much easier to accomplish thank you accurate and thank you for your excellent video.
Your sidekick dude is great - I don't have a case for the thing yet and I've been wondering when I'll explode on the thing for the first time, thanks for showing me how to do it properly - and thanks for the help with the video
I can't find any useful videos on how to actually use the Touch Strip FX and how to apply them. I can make entire beats without using the touch strip because I don't know how it works. I'd love a video on that!
@@producerdata It’s a good instructional video. Logic Pro X has more sounds that all of these devices and their software. I lived in Brazil, and Logic literally has every Brazilian drum and instrument under the sun for samba. I plug my Push 2 into Logic, and it populates all 64 pads with the various Brazilian or Latin drums or keys. This is a nice device though. I’ve got the MPC One. I need the MPC Live II.
Hi, once FX are inserted into channels and some parameters have been assigned to Q links, pad number + touch strip, is it possible to jump from any MPC window to a given FX to modify the parameter just using the controller? Thank you.
Hey, quick question. When you went into the step sequencer how do you allow the step sequencer to go past 1 bar? As well as the yellow grid isn’t showing for me so a little confused. Thanks though!
A great deal of its capabilities aren't made the most of in Ableton, we'd recommend a workflow that uses the MPC software in conjunction with Ableton as we show in the video in order to get the most out of it!
Cubase has a MIDI Devicr setup page for custom configuration of practically any MIDI Controller. There's also the concept of *MIDI Learn* most Digital Audio Workstations are capable of doing.
Firstly I am new to this so be gentle! This is probably a stupid question but I purchased an MPC one yesterday which comes with MPC 2.0 can I control the MPC 2.0 the same as this does from the MPC one or do I need to buy the MPC Studio? I haven't rigged anything up yet as I am waiting on my new Laptop to turn up all help much appreciated. 👍😁
the mpc you are referring to is a standalone unit, you do not need a pc to even use it as the DAW is built in. If you are serious I would watch actual MPC One reviews and videos instead of MPC Studio II videos
When I'm exploring samples/programs in the browser window, I can't hear the sample unless I load it in a pad even when I have the "play" button activated in the browser. Any suggestions on how to fix that?
awesome video the only problem is that im old asf and they say your never old to learn new stuff well this is one of them. So, I feel I've got a limited time to learn I'm not new to this but stopped everything of beat production and rap when i was 20 years old so i kind of feel old lol thanks for this video one of the best out there... I am now 27 and feel like I lost a lot I would like to go live with anyone commenting in here and learn together just to pass time.
I hope you are NOT serious? 27yrs is old! Maybe if you were trying to be pop star or whatever- the Major labels like younger to make as much money off of you as possible throughout the years..But, to make music and release music, write songs for others, etc- YOU ARE NOT TOO OLD! If you do some research you'll find that most...if not all songwriters behind the scenes and those songs everyone's favorite artists sing- come from "OLD" writers. Get yourself together and start making music, you can learn as you go. If you don't believe in yourself, nobody will take you serious. BTW I'm a 42 yr old Songwriter/Lyricist and Producer.
Yes u would need a interface though but technically it might be easier with utube just to get a addon in Firefox that downloads utube audio or one on your phone
Can you control the FPC with it inside FL? Or just load 3rd party samples on it? And can you access the sounds in the MPC software and play them with a conventional MIDI keyboard?
Why you cannot navigate step sequencer from MPC like other MPC's (standalone) ? Why you need to click with mouse on Bar + and Bar -? Srsly I feel like throwing this to a trash now...after unpacking.
I really like your video, but I don't recommend the French translation because on the one hand, it prevents you from viewing the manipulations and, on the other hand, it's absolutely distorted. I guess you didn't realize it, but the translation uses horrible words that don't mean anything. If I just read the text I might wonder what subject you are talking about. It's abherent so if you can't find a better translator it would be better to abstain.
I found this machine very hard to organize an entire livest. You guys are thinking the same? Its workflow it's not so good for live situation, I think it does a good work in the studio

Awesome tutorial! 😊 Subbed! 😊 I just ordered this controller so looking forward to try it out. 😊
Just got mine today. 🎉
2:28 Can't figure out how to change it from one bar to four bars. I think it has to do with some kind of feature that's called doubling bars,
its easy its in the seq, settings just dub or half it
Just bought this this week. Can you acutally sample from an external source?
Best tutorial well explained ❤ Cheers 🇵🇱🤜🤛
Great tutorial
How easy does this jook up with reason and or N.I
Great video btw, appreciate all the knowledge!
i'm still deciding between mpc and mascine mikro... i'm pending to mpc because i had a akai mini before . But great video thanks
Thank you for this great tutorial
Thank you for this video..I ask you if this Akai works easily with Ableton live 12..thanks in advance
switching between the bars with controller would be very nice.
Does the MPC studio works as a midi controller? If so what are the limitations and features when used as midi controller?
Amazing detail
