Welcome to college football. Ohio States 2012 players were punished for something 2010s did. Wins were still vacated, post season play was still banned.
All because they traded trinkets for tattoos. But somehow,a program in the middle of the biggest cheating scandal in college football history, thinks that they're going to get away with just a bowl ban😂😂. Delusional is an understatement.

Connor Stalions hadn't been hired yet by Michigan when the 2021 game was played and he was long gone by the time the 2023 game went down. This leaves only the 2022 game for which your own coaches say they changed their signs.

The idiot used his own card to buy tickets in every Big Ten Stadium, except one, as well as Alabama and Georgia. When the schools found out what Stallions was doing they tracked the purchase of that ticket to Stallions' card. Stallions also paid for plane tickets to these schools with his card. The NCAA found at least one of the people working for Stallions and he told the NCAA that he was also paid cash by Stallions and was told how to video the sideline and get that video to him
As a Buckeye fan, I'm really saddened at what Stallions and Harbaugh did to a once great school. Bo would be kickin' ass and takin' names. They hurt the school financially, hurt the players and future players, and ruined the school's reputation. Worst was some idiots in school administration colluded and defended it all. The Wolverine team was great without cheating. Harbaugh was the worst thing to happen to Michigan since Lord Schembechler's demise.
There is a small group of 2025 commits and 2026 prospects who are conversating about how good or bad of an idea it is to go to UM and pay for the crimes of a team of guys who will be gone and never suffer any consequences

Not exactly true. 1981 Clemson, 2000 Alabama, did not have vacated wins, but were banned from future bowl games. It’s happened many times where teams accept vacated wins in lieu of a bowl ban. Lately 2/3 of fired coach, bowl ban, vacated wins has been the punishment.
The NCAA has gotten out of the vacated wins business. Only used it once since 2016 and that was due to Tennessee begging to play out the 2023 season as they thought they had a contender.

Your timing of events is off and clouding your thought process. The evidence thus far appears to exist, and when the University agrees to terms with the NCAA, they agree to the authority of the NCAA to arbitrate said rules, and the university’s to comply and cooperate. Otherwise, why join the NCAA? Reality check, the program was caught dirty. It’s not the first time and the current AD has demonstrated little to no Institutional control over any athletic program.

Wins and champions are typically vacated when a program fields ineligible players or lies during an investigation. Ol' Sweater Vest did both! That's why they received those punishments.

It does matter because the assumption was always that Harbaugh knew what was going on and either encouraged it or just let it happen and played dumb. If Harbaugh knew, there would be MAJOR punishments that I as a Michigan fan would have no choice but to accept. But if there is no evidence that Harbaugh knew anything then I will always side with innocent until PROVEN guilty and Michigan wouldn’t deserve very much punishment at all.
Not to mention there is no way of knowing if Stalions could even do much with these signs he “stole”. No way to quantify his scheme and therefore it’s basically impossible to vacate any wins.

Most of you TTUN fans are delusional to a fault. At this point it's alarming. The fact that your fan base has been so desperate these last 27 yrs for a 🏆, that you would forgo any sense of logic, is going to make the penalties that much more damaging.
Since the 4 yrs prior to cheating(2017-2020), your recruiting classes ranked 5th, 22nd, 8th and 10th respectively. Which actually isn't terrible. Now let's look at the record for those same years. In '17(8-5), '18(10-3), '19(9-4) and '20(2-4). For a combined record of 29-16, which is decent.
Now let's look at the recruiting classes of 2021- 23. They 13th, 9th and 17th respectively per 247sports which takes all 4 major ranking sites and gives the average. Now let's look at the records for those years. In '21(12-2), '22(13-1) and '23(15-0). For a combined record of 40-3.
While the recruiting hasn't been abysmal, in fact it's been decent. Not elite, but decent. Not enough to dominate and win a championship under normal conditions. 2021 is also the first year of the cheating allegations coincidence? I think not. This is the same time Ward Manuel made Haughbaugh take a pay reduction. Cullminate all of this with backing out of the 2020 game because back then he was on the hot seat. Desperate times calls for desperate measures. He takes most of his staff to the NFL coincidence? No. He gets suspended by the conference...for doing nothing? No. That would be a lawsuit. Bottom line he cheated and involved the staff and players.

I just like how before all of this it was Xichigan is so academically elite and has high standards. The reason they lose to OSU is because their GPA standard is too high and OSU obviously cheats. Xichigan is an ethical clean program yada yada. Now it's every excuse how it's not that big of a deal and max a slap on the wrist regardless of the evidence.
