Forever my favourite show. The action, story, the amazing gore and walkers, the family bond, character development and attachment, and the emotional connection we have to the show and the characters. Feels like the show IS my family :(
Rip beth and my other favorites. I miss you guys so much. Everytime i play this song i almost cry. I relate this song to my life what's going on right now and i remember things.
I don't really think of The Walking Dead whenever I hear this, even though I'm a fan of the show. To tell you the truth, it makes me think of someone who's gone out to a war and there's a chance they're never coming back. Like a person has risen to sacrifice themselves in a war when they know others shouldn't have to.
JJPlatinum it’s a old Irish Scottish song, it’s about a old man wanting one last drink before he dies, the parting glass is a old tradition of one last drink before you go on your travels,,,in this case he is on his final journey,,,, it’s written in 1600s nobody knows who wrote it but it has been passed down from generations,,,, it’s more haunting when sung in Irish,,,, cheek out the Irish language version,,, or Liam Clancy version,, and finally the Dubliners and sinead o Connor
I really love this song, it's so sad and beautiful at the same time! I've been searching for a better version of this song but not even the original singer (Celtic woman) couldn't make me change my mind. I loved it!
It is a traditional song indeed. The origins of The Parting Glass can be found in Scotland. A version of the lyrics was known at least as early as 1605 with variations and fragments appearing in various songs down through the centuries. The melody was first collected in 1782.

This song would've been great as Daryl was carrying out Beth's body.
