Yes. This and the song at the beginning of episode 6 in season 4 as well. The music they had chosen really brought out the emotions we felt along with the characters. The recent seasons of TWD are so different from the 1st few seasons, don’t feel the same connections with the characters.

John Murillo does it matter whether people find this off tv? people are recognising the music and liking it so is that not a good thing? and it's not just 'some Tv show'! it's the walking dead!

This song playing when Hershel had overcome all odds and saved his son in law, among others, by going I to a place to help he knew there was a great chance he woukdnt walk out of, made me fully appreciate what a great man he was. I'm just now rewatching TWD for the first time all the way through, so I hadnt seen this since it premiered on television. When I heard it this time around I realised it was his swan song
Esse música foi o capítulo em que mais vimos a importância de Hershel no grupo 🥺😔😭 TWD Temporada 4×5 . Foi incrível e forte o quão esse homem era e continuará sendo! Scott Wilson ❤
Simm
I know this was a great moment when this started playing and Hershel was walking into that cell and finally sat down and cried. Epic moment. Walking Dead has had some good music this season.
Being a fan of Ben Howard brought me here :)
This is when someone plays the guitar with the arteries and the valves of my heart... Epic
Rest In Peace Scott Wilson. You will be remembered.
The walking dead use to have the best music. I miss season 3/4
Edit:Still feel the same in 2021
Big_Juicey23 i Beginn to watch, im Season 4 now
Evil_ SKY Nice, let me be the one to tell you that it definitely changes after those first 4. It just isn’t the same.
Big_Juicey23 ack, I’m still on season 4
@@jj_judah365 season 4 is definitely my favourite by far
Amen!!!

Austin Whewell
its not a spoiler O.o but thanks for the insult. -.-" idiot
Zockerbraut90009 Don't worry , it's just another of those TH-cam douchebags that's aware of the fact that he'll read spoilers if he scrolls down , does scroll , and still feel the urge of insulting people for no reason . A bit like all the morons whining about " spoilers " on Game of Thrones , even though the books have been released for ages xD
Khalee Hill hahaha :D yes xD thank you :3
Austin Whewell shut up and just listen to the music. -.-
well, alright. but im still mad at you
RIP SCOTT WILSON. Thank you for making my childhood
RIP Scott Wilson been many years since you have passed now but you will never be forgotten.

You were the one legged warrior.

R.i.p abraham Glenn Carl but f*** Merle he was an a** hole
@@emoteboi7742 The difference is those are fictional characters......Cody's comment is in regards to the fact that Scott Wilson (the actor who played Hershel) actually died in 2018.
@@Kethambelle oh
RIP Herschel aka Scott Wilson!!! The voice of reason of reason of TWD!!
Rewatching TWD and this song will always be a tribute to Hershal for me even after so many years it's still not easy seeing him go he would of been awesome in yhe later episodes.
I just put this song on repeat and go on living my life.
Right there with you.
"Evil is evil. Lesser, greater, middling.... makes no difference. The degree is arbitrary. The definition is blurred. If I'm to choose between one evil and another, I'd rather not choose at all".

you have a career in writint literature that you are wasting my stranger.
This song made those scenes in the walking dead that much more deep.
To call this song a masterpiece of an artform called music, would be a insult. This is beyond what any words can speak, this is feelings and soul that needs to be felt. ❤️
This song still hits like it used to.
found this looking for oatmeal recipes
+KangarooBird121
You have won one internet.
+KangarooBird121 I hope you still managed to find that oatmeal recipe..
+Joshua Olsen you have low standards for humor

No one really matters rock stuff ? Whattt
Exactly. His talent speaks for itself! !

LYRICS
Go your way
I'll take the long way 'round
I'll find my own way down
As I should
And hold your gaze
There's coke in the Midas touch
A joke in the way that we rust
And breathe again
And you'll find loss
And you'll fear what you found
When the weather comes
Tearing down
There'll be oats in the water
There'll be birds on the ground
There'll be things you never asked her
Oh how they tear at you now
Go your way
I'll take the long way 'round
I'll find my own way down
As I should
And hold your gaze
There's coke in the Midas touch
A joke in the way that we rust
And breathe again
And you'll find loss
And you'll fear what you found
When the weather comes
Tearing down
There'll be oats in the water
There'll be birds on the ground
There'll be things you never asked her
Oh how they tear at you now
Aas i should
I do believe its cork not coke in mida's touch
Thank you....
Thanks bro
Thank you ❤

I’m new to the walking dead and just watched this episode of herschel, great to see everyone else here did the same at one point
great song , hershel ftw
I along with many others must thank Walking Dead for compelling me to find the entire song, Perfectly Haunting and Beautiful. Well written and well played Sirs
Not listened to Ben howard since college (2012) memories are flashing !!
It's 2019 but feels like 2015 every time I hear this song.
I wonder who's the real monster...
Noel Benito Sanidad 2016 is a monster
2020 is the real monster😅
When this song was played on The Walking Dead, I downloaded it, and put it on repeat a heck of a lot. However, at the time, I was also heavily into the Death Note series. So, for some reason, I now associate this song with L, rather than Hershel...
I associate this song with Ben Howard, not because it came on off some Tv show, because he is amazing.
John Murillo does it matter whether people find this off tv? people are recognising the music and liking it so is that not a good thing? and it's not just 'some Tv show'! it's the walking dead!
John Murillo
I bet Ben Howard is incredibly happy he allowed this song to be on the walking dead the amount of people that are actually finding out about good music. I bet all the artists are Thankful so you shouldn't be complaining. The comments like yours are way more annoying then the comments saying "TWD!"
Hi c:
Lawliett L I like your icon ;)
I fall in love with this song each and every time I listen to it
Me too!! There's something so special about it! 😍

Most underrated artist. Great songs, so many memories.
This song calms me so much its been one of my favorite songs for a long time. When im feeling depressed and down i put it on and by the time the climax with the guitar hits it just lifts me up .
I still remember the excitement I felt hearing this song for the first ever time on the Witcher 3 release trailer, it's just a game but it was such an amazing moment sending me on my journey with Geralt. Easily the best the game ever made. I've since become a big Ben Howard fan too!
F'n love ben howard. This song is moody , dark and perfect. :)
Simon Clarke exactly! 🖤
This goes sooooo deep like into every cell of the body and brain. I love it so much - esp. the beginning and Ben's first words. Love, love, LOVE
This song is a masterpiece through and through. And Ben Howard is such an underrated talent. My god this man’s brain
The Walking Dead has an amazing soundtrack
The Walking Dead brought me here. Such a deep and intense song. I love it.
I'd always take the long road round jst 2 listen till Ben howard
I gotta say The Walking Dead has some good songs for when your feeling down.
I was cooking lunch with my laptop on the side and then this unknown song started playing.
