This episode was one of the most beautifully done episodes ever on the show. I so appreciated how lovingly they handled Tyreese's death. And how lovely was it that Beth, Bob, Mikka, and Lizzie were the ones to lead him away. I think that was such a beautiful way to celebrate all their lives. I'm gonna go cry now...
silverlemon I cried really really hard too. During the hallucinations I cried because of Beth, but later when they showed the cross with Tyresse's beanie, I cried even harder):
my thoughts exactly. Even though I was in tears after, and sad for Beth and Tyreese, I was like; 'wow, what a great episode'! Happy/sad. By far the best one yet.
This song makes me cry everytime. The hardest part of Beth and Tyrese's death, was that they were the 2 strongest embodiments of goodness and kindness in the show at the time. And losing them back to back just felt like a silent message saying goodness and kindness cant survive, cant exist anymore in that world. Thats what i took away from Tyrese's hallucination anyway. And that made me hurt for the future of the group. Turns out it really forshadowed alot of character changes to come.
From all the songs Beth has sang in the show, it's always this specific song that makes me cry. I don't know if it's the lyrics, the way she sings it, or the scene that was shown while she sang. Either way she covered this song so beautifully.
every night i play this song at 2am and do sit ups until its over. it helps motivate myself, and to know that the pain and need to give up isnt nearly as strong as some peoples lives. some people struggle.
This song not only made me feel emotional cause of the concept of the song and how Tyreese died, its because I feel like it defines my life and how I struggle and try to overcome it.
I love this actress, she is amazing. Beautiful and so entertaining she is, she has one of the much beautiful voices. That I have ever heard, such a beautiful voice. It sends shivers down my spine eveytime I hear it.
Beth was such a sweet girl and has a beautiful voice. The episode when Tyreese died was so, so sad. I am glad that they did not let him turn into a walker. His hat on the cross really added that final touch of reality that he was now gone and would never return.
This song refers to Daryl 'Struggling man has got to move' as in Daryl needs to forget about Beth's death. 5th season was definitely the saddest yet the best season of TWD
Wtf? The song is referring to Tyrese he was the struggling man struggling with his humanity with lose of Karen with the fact carol killed her. Struggling with the violence that has is now absolutely necessary to one's own survival.
Poor Beth she was a sweet innocent kid. I could tell Dawn felt awful after accidentally killing her. she probably would have killed herself afterwards after that if Daryl hadn't shot her.
Tyreese sees beth singing Mica & Lizzy & hears Judith crying in the background it makes me feel sad :( I miss tyreese, beth, mica, lizzy & bob rip all good people :(
+100d2h Yeah right. I fucking miss Tyreese. His death was so sad, I've never cried so crazy before. That old man deserve better than that cold bloodshed. Nobody does, but Tyreese..... R.I.P Tyreese T.T
> Isn't done crying over Beth > Tyreese dies in the next episode > Cries a lot I want to be mad at Noah, but I can't, since neither were directly his fault. He indirectly got them killed, but they both (especially Beth) played a part in their death.
I knew beth was gonna stab her when she got so close, I didn't think she'd shoot her. Beth was one of the best and one of my favorites. I miss her and dale, T-Dog, Lori, Bob, Tyrese, Hershel, and Andrea.
Lori was a horrible character. Andrea had potential near the end, but she was cut off too early for me to care. All the others, though: good characters...
Yes love Beth, Noah Tyreese, and I miss them all, as they endured so much through this "life of the unknown"! The song is a REGGAE song written by Jimmy Cliff and I love his version as well. However Beth put the right twist on it for this type of show. It really pulls at your heart with knowing what all happened with these characters.
Emily Kinney (Beth) was amazing and always will be loved this song made me cry and seeing Daryl cry just made it even worse for me that man is just omg just sexy and caring and a badass for sure a true TWD fan right here...
Life has been meaningless without The Walking Dead. The programme was more than just a story. The characters were my friends. Now I have no friends. The emptiness is overwhelming.
I just went back and watched all of season 5 again, to get ready for season 6. This episode was terribly sad; I cried so much. And it made me miss Bob very much. He was a very wise man. No wonder Sasha is so messed up. She lost so much; they have all lost so much. I can't wait to see what happens this season.
+Ophelia Voorhees This is actually a favorite episode of mine. A good view at a character with a very different p.o.v. from the rest and a different way to view dying and living. Plus it seemed like a good way to have some series favorites (either in a positive way or otherwise) kinda say goodbye to the audience.
Every man has a right to live Love is all that we have to give Together we struggle by your will to survive And together we fight just to stay alive Struggling man has got to move Struggling man, no time to lose I'm a struggling man And I've got to move on As the sun lights the day and the moon lights the night Struggling man keeps reaching for the higher heights So we plan for tomorrow as we live for today Like a flower we bloom and then later fade away Struggling man has got to move Struggling man, no time to lose I'm a struggling man And I've got to move on Struggling man has got to move Struggling man, no time to lose I'm a struggling man And I've got to move on Struggling man, struggling man Struggling man, struggling man Struggling man, struggling man
Today we fight, tomorrow we fight, we fight all the time. She was a survivor. She didn't give up before she died. She was a strong person. And she got a kind heart. Rest in peace, Beth. R.I.P
anytime i hear this song i think/remember of all the places the characters have stayed at or visited b4 gettin to alexandria (prison, farm, woodbury, atl) & wonder what those places r like now after they fell through. also makes me remember all the characters that have come & gone.
just watched season 5 episode 8 and 9 and oh my god these where the good the walking dead days, i really miss how it was...these 2 episodes got me feeling so empty
I did cry very very hard during these episodes when Tyreese and Beth died, I know this is a series but, I FREAKING HATE DAWN!!! IM SO FREAKING GLAD THAT DARYL SHOT DAWN!!! BUT FOR REAL, I HATE DAWN!!!
+KymanForLife I kinda liked Dawn,I mean she did what she had to do to keep things in order, and she really didn't mean to shoot Beth,Daryl really didn't need to kill her.I mean come on Beth came at her.
Kyliel Roberts Yes that is true, but I posted this comment right after I watched the episode. I didn't know what I was typing, and since I was mad and everything I guess I just didn't understand. After seeing that episode more and more times over the last couple of months, it just hit me that I can't really be mad at Dawn or be happy that Daryl shot her because Beth basically had it coming to her.
+KymanForLife I get a little choked up watching tyreeses death myself but I smile at the same time. I'm specifically referring to that final part were hes zoning out, and just looking out into the distance in the trees, and sky out the car window with all his old friends assuring him its gonna be okay, and that he doesn't have to fight anymore. and that charming, chilling, and relaxing music plays over it. Thank you Emily for recording this full version for us fans! I wasn't a huge fan of your character but recording this for us full song is awesome and I applaude you! And to whom uploaded thank you as well!
Tyresse was such a good man. He loved Judith with all he had. He worked for everything he earned. He didn't deserve to die like that, all alone. But "It's better now."
"You're gonna miss me so bad when I'm gone, Daryl Dixon!!"
Yup
"You ain't a happy drunk at all"
Niall Jones XD
Talk about foreshadowing
That was so sad
Of all of the deaths on TDW the death of Tyreese inpacted me the most because of this song
true
Jared Vise I actually cried
Antex - Gaming Beth's death is the only one that made me cry... :( Maggie's reaction ugh heartbreaking
then the death of carl in season 8 this February will for sure shatter your heart
Agree watched weekly then binged and Tyreese was saddest I agree its the song.
It's ok, Tyrese. It's better now....
E101ification it went the way it had to. The way it was always going to.
😭😭😭
Rip
Yeah better for tyresse but defo not for my heart cus that broke instantly when he got bitten.
Hatguy 2345 literally i cried for ages
I'm still sad they killed off Beth..when Tyreese was dying and he was seeing their ghosts I started to cry ;-;
I wish Beth we're alive 😢💔
Yes 'm same- I started balling out when i saw Judith because he was the one taking care of that baby even if he was "a struggling man"
Every single time i rewatch that episode it leaves me in tears, the nostalgia just kills me
So true :/
me too ;-;

Agreed, it fit well with what you need to be to survive.
It went the way it had to. The way it was always going to.
She needs to release this... I love it so much omg
She's beautiful and her voice really compliments this song. She's gonna break alot hearts that emily kinney
she can break my heart as long me fuck her before
@@madmattsfacts5641 x2 😂
@@rompeanos6064 she was able to play a teenager because she looks really young. She was about 30 when she was on TWD.
"you! You're dead. Everything that you were is dead. And it's not over, I forgave her because it's not over." - tyreese
"Its better now."
Oh Jeez
Thank you. Just thank you.
"No its not"
"You have to pay the bill!"
"You're the kind of guy who saves babies"
I miss Beth, Lori, TDog, Herschel, Tyrese, Bob, and Dale.

+Robbie McBride my friend taught me not to read youtube comments... now i've finally comprehended the message. fucking spoilers :(
David Kumarbai to be fair Tyrese was the most recent death I mentioned and that was over a year ago
I miss Bob most he was the most happy in it all he bummed me out the least and I friggin' loved Beth's singing
it’s 2020 and i’m still crying over how much i miss her.
The good can't live in that world😔
"I'm a struggling man, and I've got to move on" hits so hard man

Maggie Irene. Probably all of it
Definitely all of it together... man, i'm crying right now. Emily was absolutely one of the best actress in the whole series.
Such a beautiful voice! Keep singing Emily.
Who else is rewatching the walking dead from season one during covid pandemic.
Tyrese death was an emotional one with Beth singing in the background as the group carry’s tyrese thru the woods as he is dying is so sad 😞
RIP BETH!!
Love her voice sooo beautiful
All singing she did in walking dead made the madness they were going through calm
❤
This song is like a lesson because we always have to struggle alot and its called life. We struggle in life
every night i play this song at 2am and do sit ups until its over. it helps motivate myself, and to know that the pain and need to give up isnt nearly as strong as some peoples lives. some people struggle.
R..i..P ...Tyreese 🔨🔨🔨
He did have that hammer when he died didnt he haha
😭
This song not only made me feel emotional cause of the concept of the song and how Tyreese died, its because I feel like it defines my life and how I struggle and try to overcome it.
Hope you doing good now brother, now it’s my turn to struggle and come to terms with growing up and moving on💯
I'm currently struggling to survive after losing my job
This song helps and the lyrics hold a lot of meaning to me at this time
Beautiful song
She didn't even have a kid she wanted one, miss you Beth
I love this actress, she is amazing. Beautiful and so entertaining she is, she has one of the much beautiful voices. That I have ever heard, such a beautiful voice. It sends shivers down my spine eveytime I hear it.
I’d love to hear her cover this as a single or even put it on an album. She’s the best!
Beth was such a sweet girl and has a beautiful voice. The episode when Tyreese died was so, so sad. I am glad that they did not let him turn into a walker. His hat on the cross really added that final touch of reality that he was now gone and would never return.

This song refers to Daryl
'Struggling man has got to move' as in Daryl needs to forget about Beth's death.

Wtf? The song is referring to Tyrese he was the struggling man struggling with his humanity with lose of Karen with the fact carol killed her. Struggling with the violence that has is now absolutely necessary to one's own survival.
Tracijo Hill Emily said it referred to Daryl, in an interview can't remember which one tho.
Liverpool Biker idk man it doesn't seem to fit the episode had NOTHING to do with daryl.
well i dont know, i just said what she said
Liverpool Biker Tracijo Hill I believe it's up for examination

Poor Beth she was a sweet innocent kid. I could tell Dawn felt awful after accidentally killing her. she probably would have killed herself afterwards after that if Daryl hadn't shot her.

She definitely wouldn't have killed herself lmfao that wasn't anywhere in her character dude what show you watching lol
Imagine Judith mentioning a girl with blonde hair that took care of her.
Maggie would start crying and smiling somehow at the same time I think
That would hit
"you ain't never gonna see Maggie again" they for shadowed her death so much ☹
Tyreese sees beth singing Mica & Lizzy & hears Judith crying in the background it makes me feel sad :( I miss tyreese, beth, mica, lizzy & bob rip all good people :(
