Finish the list in the replies.
17) Well he went to Aladdin to collect those colorful onion rings to kill a purple genie. 18) Got turned into a Furry and has to gorilla glue earth back with a help of a Chihuahua who loves ice cream. 19) goes to a tropical amusement park that is LITERALLY in SPACE to save the Aliens and goes to different planets (I'm not sure that starlight carnival is a planet it's just a parade of ships) that is chained to a amusement park to Save the rest. @@Charriii5It's probably a whoosh for me to say this, but every time they do this it's because the level design fits the gameplay, not the story context. Since shadow plays identical to sonic they can put sonic in a shadow level without losing anything. idk it's not like he's never been there ever. Places like sky rail and radical highway still exist outside of sa2, meaning sonic could jog through them at any time off screen. The biolizard is dead tho, and sonic didn't kill it, I have no idea why he said he's fought it before. Also, unrelated, I'm surprised there was no sin for the muted result screen. It just plays the clear jingle and then it's... silent.
@@SonictmntI don’t know, The Finalhazard & Biolizard are the same being, so Sonic technically did defeat it. And Mission Street & Radical Highway or similar levels, and Sonic & Tails split up before Tails went to Mission Street, so Sonic probably went to Radical Highway, but that’s just a theory.
This is a theory, and I have no proof to back this up, but I’m calling that, in the third sonic movie, we’re gonna see in a flash back that the GUN soldier who took out Maria Robotnik is that commander from the first 2 movies with the obsession for Olive Garden
If I had to make my own guess, it's that commander is supposed to be the same one from Shadow The Hedgehog who was a child on board The Ark 50 years prior and witnessed Shadow's creation.
Ngl, seeing this after just seeing the PS3/360 version is just nothing short is amazing. Another banger video as usual and cant wait to see you play/sin Sonic Shadow Generations
If Sonic Generations was hypothetically made for both PlayStation Portable and Vita, I imagine the PSP Version to be a port of the 3DS Version, while the Vita Version as a port of the PS3 Version... (Maybe Console-Versions on the WiiU too, but that might be pushing it)
14:37 I know that you mainly played the SD version of Unleashed where stomp is unlocked at the beggining but in HD you get stomp, LSD and air boost by getting new types of shoes, and Unleashed is the first time stomp shows up in this series so yes, Sonic did need different shoes to be able to Stomp.

19:36 Someone with a modded Wii here. This is actually a very interesting bit of trivia: the Wii doesn't display a true 16:9 aspect ratio even if you set the console's setting to Widescreen. The Wii's maximum resolution outputs at 640x480 pixels, which (for a time) was passable but with widescreen displays becoming more readily available, they had to somehow program a letterbox resolution to be stretched in a non-distracting way. The method they chose is known as Anamorphic Widescreen, which in layman's terms means they zoom in a little so as to fit the extra vertical pixels and then stretch the image to fit the extra horizontal ones. This results in lesser video quality, but depending on the display and video cable(s) being used, you may not even notice it since all Wii titles have altered UX graphics to accommodate the resolution change. So, what does this all mean for Sonic Colors? Well, towards the Wii's phasing out, developers started shifting to developing for widescreen displays EXCLUSIVELY. Problem: the Wii can't display 16:9. Solution: make games in a crushed res, and have the Widescreen setting fill in the blanks. What Dimps grabbed was more than likely a direct screenshot from either a Sonic Team rep or (less likely) an emulator. TL;DR The Wii isn't a widescreen console, and the original Colors isn't a widescreen game. (Honestly, despite the bit-crushing, that might be the most accurate screengrab of the game from that era)
@Charriii5 Wanna know something funny about that? All the Dolphin builds made for Smash Melee and Brawl netplay have special resolution choices for either of them in the Graphics menu.

Didn't even address the weirdest part about Egg Emperor being in this game That wasn't an Eggman fight. That was Metal Sonic. They straight up gave Metal Sonic another boss fight in this game
@@Kazzy_Lmao imagine post Frontiers Eggman is up to his tricks again, but Eggman is literally at home being a dad to a recreated metaphysical Sage, so he sends Orbot and Cubot to literally tell the group that the Eggman doing this whole plan isnt even Eggman.
It goes beyond that, he only saw Shadow do it once before Sonic was able to do it WITHOUT even using a real chaos emerald. You have to imagine the fake one isn’t as good, otherwise there would have been no point in even trying to trick Eggman with it.
16:50 Dude......charriii5, Your eggman impression is AMAZING If not for me knowing eggman is voiced by someone else I would have legitimately thought you were Eggman's va dude Well done!!!
Technically speaking, in Sonic Riders, Eggman doesn't really win in the end either, he literally says " I can't believe I wasted all that time for this... This hunk of junk" before passing out from pure anger since holding the Gran Prix cost more than most of the bots he's built.
It definitely doesn't even qualify under Classic Eggman's definition of win *but* Modern Eggman did ask what that definition was so he likely sees something as a win. If the definition was "accomplish the goal you set", Riders, despite the reward for his hard efforts being some little nugget of Babylonian history he doesn't care about in the form of a carpet, is technically a game with a win since he did get the treasure of Babylon. Plus, Eggman's probably petty enough to take any little morsel of full victory he can get.
@@castform7 I mean if we're going by that logic, eggman would easily have more wins. Just collecting the emeralds is a win, firing the laser that broke half the moon is a win, ect ect. They're not really wins.
@@ChippTheFox Well then I have to ask what Eggman means by "that depends on your definition of win". Obviously Eggman has to consider something a win in order to ask for specification in the first place. Eggman, again is a pretty petty person. He has probably deluded himself into thinking all of those things you mentioned were wins in their own little way. Honestly, I'm surprised he didn't say yes to the question of beating Sonic because he has fully outsmarted him, trapped him and sent him to his eminent death twice. If the argument to that is Sonic didn't die either of those times and therefore aren't wins then I have to ask the same question Charriii did of why Classic Eggman even bothered asking in the first place.
@@castform7 and you're not wrong, even in other games like unleashed. Capturing sonic and ruining his night life could also be considered a victory. Eggman does what Eggman wants I guess XD
@@ChippTheFox I'm surprised that isn't the first thing considered as a win, considering the fact that Eggman robbed the Chaos Emeralds off of SUPER SONIC, and launched him into space, succeeding in releasing Dark Gaia. Granted he did lose later, but he won against SUPER SONIC. That should count as a win to him at least
Also, about Classic Sonic being able to speak or not. I heard a rumor that originally Sega planned for Classic Sonic to have a voice actor, and that voice actor would be Jaleel White. Yes, the Jaleel White, who voiced Sonic in the DIC era of Sonic, at least in the cartoons he was in. He also voiced Sonic's siblings, Sonia and Manic, from Sonic Underground. However, this ended up scrapped way early on. The bad thing of all is that Sega will just rewrite history claiming that he can't talk both in canon and non-canon media. Also, they removed Sonic's voice lines from Sonic CD when it was ported to Sonic Origins. There's no "Yes!" everytime Sonic gets a 1-UP, and there's no "I'm outta here!" when Sonic stands idle for 3 minutes doing nothing, which is also stupid considering the source code for Origins's Sonic CD is from the 2011 mobile remaster by Christian Whitehead, which included those voice lines, there are even assets from the 2011 remaster that ended up unused like the 2011 screen and the remaster's manual of the game. There's even an unused animation of "I'm outta here!" in Sonic Mania, which suggests that Sega is gaslighting all of us that Classic Sonic can't speak.
You know, the 3DS version of Generations was actually the first I played purely because my parents would only let me play Nintendo consoles until I was much older. It's been a bit since I last played it, but I remember liking it, even if it wasn't quite as good as the console Generations. But hey, it's got a much better final boss at least. That's something.
@@ethantreadway9478 PlayStation did at first, but they eventually adopted a more serious approach to their games. Xbox meanwhile was designed for older gamers since the start, and their one attempt at a younger audience, that being Blinx the Time Sweeper, failed.

Nice seeing you here. I know you stopped making rebuttal videos a while ago, but since he's now covered Generations 3DS, you think he'll finally get to the 3DS Boom games this year?
9:51 The Eggmans weren't erasing Sonic's stages from history, they were erasing points of space-time critical to Eggman's many failures. If Shadow never ran through Radical Highway at the start of Sonic Adventure 2, then he never would've had the encounter with Sonic immediately after where he showed and so inadvertently taught Sonic Chaos Control which later saved Sonic's life when Eggman jettisoned him from the ARK. This also provides a plausible reason for Shadow's presence in the void. Same logic for the Biolizard: Another Shadow stage, of course, but remove the Biolizard's defense of the ARK's core from space-time and so remove the obstacle preventing their override of the ARK's collision course as well as its transformation into Finalhazard resulting in a significantly more opportune scenario for Eggman.
Ofcourse it took some KH level story bending to make some sense of the inconsistancies...still doesnt explain Egg Emperor, which was Neo Metal posing as Eggman, being in the wrong era, not even Nomura like mental gymnastics can make this one make sense
@@DustD.Reaper The Egg Dragoon in the console version doesn't make much sense either. It's not the same version of the machine as the "ultra-hyper Prototype-1" that belongs in that point of space-time. Plausible explanations are that these inconsistencies are due to the ever shifting timeline caused by these erasures like is the case for the console version's Stardust Speedway (Bad Future) and Crisis City or it could be the that the two Eggman bosses each version of the game has are the two Eggmans in charge of the Time Eater attacking Sonic with their best mechs and in some cases even better variants like the new and improved Death Egg Robot and the aforementioned Egg Dragoon. For the latter possibility the Time Eater abducting them immediately after their loss would be them retreating, in the former it would be the Time Eater erasing this new failure from the timestream for the same reason it's been targeting the rest. The Egg Emperor is one of his better creations, hence it's inclusion, which in the unaltered timeline Metal Sonic in its Neo form took advantage of while it had control of the Empire, but for either of the above reasons need not be piloted by the rebellious Neo Metal Sonic in this instance. The Egg Emperor's "era" is also only out of place in the meta sense, and even then only according to the division of levels in the console version of this game. From the meta perspective it's a timeline-linear "greatest hits" type game, in-story they could've put any powerful mech there and it would've been appropriate. Sonic Heroes is the first multiplatform Sonic game and the first released on a non-Sega console that wasn't a port/remake/collection. It had a different approach to story and gameplay than the preceding duology and it both released and takes place after Sonic Adventure 2 which featured the prior Generations 3DS boss, the Biolizard, so thematically there's nothing wrong with using it as the third boss.
Something that adds to one of the sins, the Time Eater boss fight does feature a 3D segment, wich makes the absence of proper 3D levels even more puzzling
6 months of dev time sure is a crunch, and I remember reading that the stages chosen for hd and 3ds gens were voted in a poll, first place went for the hd version and the second place of the poll were chosen for the 3ds port

I actually said YEARS AGO right after the 3DS version released that it would have been awesome to have the HD version focus solely on the console Sonic games (Adventure, Adventure 2, Heroes, 06, Unleashed and Colours and the mandatory Green Hill) and have the 3DS version focus on handheld titles (Green Hill cause duh, then Advance 1 2 and 3, the Game Gear titles, Rush and Rush 2, and another Colours pick because that had a console and DS release) to fully encapsulate the storied history of the series and not have so much overlap in the levels and bosses so there's more of a concrete reason for both versions to exist.
That WAS the original plan, but it was tossed out for some reason. I remember hearing that SEGA contemplated getting Jaleel White to reprise his role as Classic Sonic but negotiations fell through.
I have a huge amount of nostalgia for this version of the game because I didn't have a 360 or PS3 or any system other than Nintendo and my first exposure to the game was the console version and before I got the chance to play the perfect chaos fight I was told we had to leave but the 3ds version was a birthday gift and it was the first sonic game I beat and I played it so many times so seeing you do a everything wrong with video hit me with a wave of nostalgia
0:28 Does this mean that Nuem and Charriii are different people now? That aside, I’m glad that you’re keeping this style of videos up. This version of Generations is severely under-appreciated in my opinion.
My Headcanon has recently become Sonic uses the Chaos Emeralds for the basis of learning skills: The White Emerald's "Extra" ability for the Homing Attack Or Super Sonic's boost from Sonic Adventure.
It all comes full circle ⭕️ (or ring 💍) as we get a version of the same game this series started with. The Shadow story from Sonic X Shadow Generation will definitely bring 3DS content because like you said, Radical Highway and the Biolizard is Shadow’s experiences.
Glad I'm not the only one who had such an issue with the Egg Emperor as a boss for that final era. I also wish that levels from the Advance games were used too. They were right there!
I couldn't help but cackle at that statement of the Eclipse Canon being shoved up the ass of the Biolizard, that was too funny to hear. Also that whole Eggman exchange bit you did had me laugh too, I lost it at the end when Robotnik said "Grandfather did WHAT?!" Just the pure shock in the delievery of that line was Oh so good, that really was a such a great bit from start to finish, haha. Sonic casually though saying he could do another lap around the planet makes me chuckle, dude's just casually bragging about his speed. It is a shame though all the characters that were meant to show up for the party are only in model form and in a picture form in the credits, at least they do it for the other sonic generations for the xbox and such. But this was a cool video to watch! I definitely enjoyed watching your Video with the Knuckles TV show, you ever hear word recently that they are already in the process of making another spinoff show and a Sonic movie 4 after 3 is out? They really are working fast like Sonic, lol. That aside though, Stay safe and Stay Awesome my guy!🌙⭐
6:41 Well no, it’s confirmed by Sega that Sonic CD takes place after Sonic 1 despite Sonic 2 being released before it. Meaning that Sonic has met Amy before Tails. The robot Sonic’s Classic Tails has met was Mecha Sonic Mk1 and Mk2.
4:21 At the very least Secret Rings is easily top 30 he was IN a BOOK, obviously he's done some weird things but going INTO A BOOK is easily top 30 strange
Especially since the written dialogue has short voice clips to accompany it, so sometimes we'll hear a few words in Tails' actual voice, and then Charriii's!
14:43 I would've been so down for a Sonic Generations that celebrates the handhelds' history especially since Water Palace. If we still are limited to the Classic's being the only ones with 3 different zones, I say we get a zone from Sonic 1 GG, Chaos and Triple Trouble for the classics, Advance 2 and 3 for the "Dreamcast Era" and Water Palace from Sonic Rush and Sweet Mountain from Sonic Colors DS. We would probably need some handheld bosses for these games and....I don't really know what real contenders we have there. What, are we bringing back Gigatomous Pen.
I don’t understand why Radical Highway being here is an issue. The Time Eater’s powers are never explained. Maybe they will be in the remaster, but even then, Radical Highway is also the level Shadow appears in, in the Rival Race. If it was Sonic Frontiers, I would understand since it had a bit of a theme of memories. Edit: Same with Biolizard! Huh???????
In both the 2011 HD original and the 3DS version, both versions of Tails explain that the Time Eater makes the Sonics travel through time and SPACE. That means that Sonic can go through spaces/areas/zones that exist in past(and apparently, the future, too, according to Sunset Heights and Chaos Island magically appearing in Shadow Generations.), even if he hasn't visited those. That also includes bosses he hasn't fought before, like the aforementioned Biolizard. That also explains Classic Sonic's versions of the classic zones being so different in level design in the HD version. He travels through space in Chemical Plant and Sky Sanctuary. In fact, if they were just traveling through time, it would be more like a Sonic CD type of deal where Sonic goes through the same zone, but in a different timeline with same, but modified space and different background. If they were only traveling through time in Generations, they would only go through Green Hill Zone, but with a different background. Chemical Plant isn't the bad future of Green Hill Zone, nor is Sky Sanctuary the Good Future of Green Hill Zone. They're all different spaces.

As much as it would be refreshing to have an EWW LW 3DS video, most people seem to not understand how that game works properly. None of the zones take over 7 minutes. Most can be beaten in 2-5 minutes, and there are a few that can be beaten in less than that. I won't defend the tilt controls, but I do have to say those controls are not necessary on the Quake Wisp. You can beat all zones with it(except the Zor fight) without using any tilt controls and still get an S Rank.
oh, i just remembered: the first of those silly Sonic Movies starts with a scene where a Young Sonic is zooming all over an island that looks a LOT like Green HIll Zone!
I genuinely love that this game tries to be its own thing, like other than Green Hill there's not a single similarly to the original game and i just think that's so cool
So glad you're finally doing this. The "SD" versions of games like Unleashed, Colours, Sonic Boom & Generations deserve more love! Anyway, thanks for uploading this big analysis video! Might comment more later!
In the HD versions of Sonic Generations, Classic Sonic can use the homing attack. However, you only unlock the homing attack skill set for Classic Sonic if you got all the red rings for Planet Wisp Act 1. Meaning, the homing attack is an optional skill set in the HD versions.
10:00 to be fair i am pretty sure the time eater just brings things from the past not exclusively sonic past its not like in frontiers where the specific say his memory
I just changed my smoke detector battery not even a week ago and assumed that the loud and annoying chirps the A button makes when you advance the dialog in this game was the thing already needing its batteries replaced.
To be fair, Radical Highway was originally intended to be a Sonic level in Adventure 2. The change only came because otherwise Sonic Team felt that Shadow wouldn't have enough playable stages.
Interesting. Well, Shadow still seems to not have enough zones because of people complaining about 1/3 of the game being speed and the other styles being bad.
18:01 Okay, so another thing about this part is that there are a handful of other people who still call him Doctor Robotnik to this day, myself included. Unless he meant in the game universe, in which... there would probably be some characters that still call him Robotnik. I mean in Sonic Superstars, Fang and Trip would've called him Robotnik instead of Eggman (if they actually talked), and yes I'm aware the instruction manual for Sonic Superstars refers to him as Dr. Eggman, but I like to think that maybe that was a name mistake while making the manual, and the same thing applies to another character who I will not mention the name of because I don't want people harassing me about the name of the character again so that I have to explain the whole thing again.
I mean, it also says that his name is Eggman in Mania's manual so I don't think they would make the same mistake twice. Also I'm now just really curious about this mystery character you can't say. How bad could their name be that you got harassed over it.
@@castform7 it's the one from, like, blaze's backstory(?) i'd guess. i still don't understand why some people harass others over mentioning a character name though and probably never will, honestly.
If i remember correctly Eggman uses the Time Eater to alter events in time so that the outcome is different. So during the SA2 its likely that since Eggmans now knows about Shadows plan he preemptively gets rid of him forcing Sonic to go through the levels instead. Idk if its even possible to do it but thats what i think is going on.
That's an interesting theory. However, the problem is that Sonic never needed to go through Radical Highway to be able to access Final Rush and face off against Eggman. Sonic and Shadow go through different paths, but end up on the same destination, meaning backtracking to the start of another path feels unnecessary.

7:26 I mean Sonic somehow learned Chaos Control by watching Shadow do it once in SA2. So guess he is just a fast learner
not only that, but with a fake emerald.
4:22 Let’s take this literally. Sonic has:
1) Gone to alternate dimensions to collect Jolly Ranchers
2) Absorbed said Jolly Ranchers to become a Super Saiyan
3) Absorbed bigger Jolly Ranchers to become Super Seizure (Hyper)
4) Fought several massive mechs in space
5) Saw glimpses into a genocide of ancient people by a water god
6) Defeated said water god
7) Fought on even terms with a bioengineered super weapon hedgehog
8) Fought with the prototype for said super weapon who was pulling a space station towards the earth in order to destroy it
9) Explored a planet that was chained to the earth (or Mobius) that only appears for one month every year
10) Fought a robotic doppelgänger of himself and left him on that planet
11) Once again fought that doppelgänger but this time as a Super Saiyan, and the doppelgänger was a dragon, alongside his two friends who were surrounded in a golden shield
12) Fought a race of evil aliens who wanted to collect the chaos emeralds in order to teleport down to the planet’s surface and drain it of all its energy
13) Met a hedgehog from over 200 years in the apocalyptic future who tried to kill him
14) Dated a human
15) Died
16) Got revived by kissing a human
Damn it that’s all I got.
And I think we caught up to this anymore of it?

Today I learned! That explains a lot of the weirdness of setting up Dolphin for certain games to display in Widescreen.
@Charriii5 Wanna know something funny about that? All the Dolphin builds made for Smash Melee and Brawl netplay have special resolution choices for either of them in the Graphics menu.

Dude......charriii5,
Your eggman impression is AMAZING
If not for me knowing eggman is voiced by someone else I would have legitimately thought you were Eggman's va dude
Well done!!!
Especially when you consider... HOW Doc Robotnik got his Eggman moniker...
Plot hole?
You know, the 3DS version of Generations was actually the first I played purely because my parents would only let me play Nintendo consoles until I was much older. It's been a bit since I last played it, but I remember liking it, even if it wasn't quite as good as the console Generations. But hey, it's got a much better final boss at least. That's something.
Why didn’t PlayStation and Xbox build a Young Audience?
@@ethantreadway9478 PlayStation did at first, but they eventually adopted a more serious approach to their games. Xbox meanwhile was designed for older gamers since the start, and their one attempt at a younger audience, that being Blinx the Time Sweeper, failed.

New sonic video!!!

Thank you so much for talking about this underrated gem of a "rushed" 3DS launch title

Huh???????
I’m just not gonna complain.

@@themagitechie9955 Nah, given this is more of a parody, it'll be seen as funny by the fans in the know. I mean, he's done that kind of vids with well-beloved titles like Sonic Adventure 2, I'm sure doing PMD Explorers isn't gonna be much different from that.
@@extremmefan7305He might need to do the Rescue Team Games first tho.
Would be cool to see.
@@rhinastocroc-boulet5189 True! I'd love to see him do the PMD games in general, given how much more story-heavy they are than Pokemon's earlier maingames.
The way you transition from turning on the 3DS on into the game was really well done good job
please tell me you're doing Lost World 3DS too, I would love to see you tear that game a new one.
There's not really a difference in terms of cutscene or dialogue so I doubt it
As much as it would be refreshing to have an EWW LW 3DS video, most people seem to not understand how that game works properly.
19:05 Anyone else notice that Modern Sonics eyelids are Blue meanwhile Classic Sonics eyelids are skin colored?
I didn't even notice that. That's weird.
oh, i just remembered:
the first of those silly Sonic Movies starts with a scene where a Young Sonic is zooming all over an island that looks a LOT like Green HIll Zone!
I love how you tried to reenact the cutscene before the final boss.
What about Lost World?
@@rafaelpereiragomes1735 Presumably it, too! I'd forgotten about it, shameful of me as that may be. Thanks for the reminding!
Best EWW to date in my opinion. It was really good, really funny and absolutely amazing. Good job, dude!
The fact that the gave Big Arms such an amazing remix, yet made thr fight so easy you probably won't hear it loop is a crime.
still waiting for charriii to make a eww for the 2 sonic boom games on the 3ds...
Wait, this is wrong, an opening sketch and no closing bit?
Also, the Gerald Robotnik "Grandfather did What?" Bit made me laugh out loud
18:42 You made it sound like Dr. Robotnik was told that Santa Claus isn’t real! I love your voice work! Bravo!
I may have lost my shit at "GRANDFATHER DID WHAAAAT?!"
16:38 Yeah it makes it look like Eggman wearing a costume rather than Eggman controlling a mech that should be BIGGER than him
Late for the party, but i'm glad i stayed.
Great job on the video. Especially after you had to recapture the game all over again at some point.
I think the Wing Fortess level did got the name Eggman on the ship.
In Sonic 2
every video of yours is a must-watch for me!
Awesome Video Bro!
Your Sonic impression is spot on!
It really has improved over the years!
I've been waiting for this lol, thanks chariii!

Okay, so another thing about this part is that there are a handful of other people who still call him Doctor Robotnik to this day, myself included.
@@castform7 it's the one from, like, blaze's backstory(?) i'd guess.
i still don't understand why some people harass others over mentioning a character name though
and probably never will, honestly.
@@generallyunimportant Are you talking about Eggman N...
Can we just talk about how Charriii’s Eggman impression is EGG-TREMELY good??? 😂
