.... when your talk has been online for a month but didn't get as many views as you hoped, so someone purchases over 60k views delivered within 24 hours, but YT suspects foul play, so cuts it to 40k. Even though likes and over 100 comments were also bought to make it seem real.

So strange how all those comments also came from users who also watched the same 3 talks and left comments on those ones on the exact same day and time. And then watched them again 4 weeks later. All 100 must be really, really good friends to be so in synch.

I'm so tired of people gaming the algorithms. TEDx needs to get better at monitoring their content. It's suppose to be about sharing ideas not who can pay for engagement and then use their stats to open doors.

Back to business then. A handful of comments over the months and then magically 70 generic, sometimes identical posted on the same day. Wow. Likes and views mean nothing, don't trust the internet.
