Is the stage 1 referred to in the video now considered stage 2 via previous other comment and being you had je pistons before and the link for stage 1 uses i.e. Tuscan rods. And what's pricing on this with install typically?
As time has passed and we gather more date we have modified the packages to be better suited. As of now the Stage 1 would be an off the shelf piston and rod combo. Stage 2 would be our custom je with carrillo rods and valve train. Our stage 3 would be everything of the stage 2 but with sleeving service. We will be adding them to our webpage. For pricing or labor cost email sales@ostarmotorsports.com
Once we remove all the oem components, we take the oem crank, new rods, new pistons to a machine shop and they balance the new assembly using a crankshaft balancer machine. It is also good practice to bring your flywheel and crank damper as well.
On a completely factory block I would recommend staying around 650 max. We offer our customers the following engine build package: Stage 1 800whp Stage 2 1000whp Stage 3 1300whp+
@@SpYFoXZeRo At the moment we only have the Stage 1 on the site. Both the parts package or a complete in house build. Hi Do you balance the crank to match the new weights of the rods and pistons ?
Once we remove all the oem components, we take the oem crank, new rods, new pistons to a machine shop and they balance the new assembly using a crankshaft balancer machine. It is also good practice to bring your flywheel and crank damper as well.
Great explanation 👏🏽🙏🏽
Hello, what would be the max amount of HP you can go on a stock block? And what is the weak spot at that point ?
