The best of the two Knebworth shows, 8/4/79. I was exactly three weeks old at the time and an ocean away. My favorite 'Whole Lotta Love' live performance.
+Moideroi That one's alright. I've heard lots of really good ones on Bootlegs. February 27, 1972 is a great one. Page even goes into an instrumental version of The Rover, not released until 3 years after.
yes with out question the 4 gods of rock and when the music killed one they did the right thing broke up the band , but as the stars aline and the time is right they come together to show what we are missing today , and young jason isnt bad !
I still think they should enhance the Knebworth Festival footage and show it live in IMAX theaters this coming year. Zeppelins last live performance on the big screen!
Going thru my bureau found my Knebworth concert 1979 programme still completely safe & intact after all my moves ) w the New Barbarians, etc etc.how much drinks & food cost in those days COOL AF!

So THAT's the song that plays after Fearless that I knew I knew but forgot I forgot! This is the last of the great Live Bonham / ZEP at the end of it's zenith yet they had to learn that until that fateful 1980 day.
Is there anyone besides me out there that wonders what it would been like if Steve Marriott switched places with Robert Plant, Robert Plant fronted Humble Pie and Steve Marriot Fronted LED ZEPPELIN. How much would the sound of Led Zeppelin and Humble pie would of changed.
FAVE LED ZEPPELIN SONG SEXY and SENSUOUS! POWERFUL, FULL OF MOJO', STRONG,THATS HOW PPL HAVE SEX PLENTY OF IT TO THIS SONG a& MANY BABIES ARE HATCHED!!!)🐣 very rad tune I'll always rate it no one besides Kashmir. GET THE LED OUT & KEEP ROCKING OUT!!!
My favorite version. JP comes in sounding so heavy
Fiercest, most awesome, smartest, greatest band EVER.
There will never be another Led Zeppelin!
Sadly jewtube is filled with people posting trash videos.
The best of the two Knebworth shows, 8/4/79. I was exactly three weeks old at the time and an ocean away. My favorite 'Whole Lotta Love' live performance.
I was there, 4th August 1979 !!! it was brilliant I was 16
The Gods returned 1979 ~
0:57 Jimmy's like "alright guys, watch this"
Led Zeppelin. Enough said!
This is my definition of raw.
Forgot Plant is a big football fan
Amazing! Bonzo being thunderous, Page being smooth, Plant singing with power and gusto and Jonesy smiling and laying down the groove!
You'll never walk alone and then suddenly Jimmy says, "Now stop all that, it's very silly" and kicks off with Whole lotta Love.....!!! Brilliant.
The stage of rock and roll belongs to the most atmospheric exciting band ever LED ZEPPELIN.
Mr. Plant... you are awesome
There will never be a sound like these 4. The very best band that has ever been put on this planet!!!!
They are singing "You'll Never Walk Alone"- it's a bit of an English soccer tradition. This is possibly my favorite version of Whole Lotta Love.
+Daniel Richmond i know your comments old but check out the 1973 song remains the same concert version of whole lotta love, its just amazing
+Moideroi That one's alright. I've heard lots of really good ones on Bootlegs. February 27, 1972 is a great one. Page even goes into an instrumental version of The Rover, not released until 3 years after.
Daniel Richmond my favorite version of whole lotta love to
MSG 1973 Whole Lotta Love is the absolute best version ever recorded.

The four greatest musicians that ever came together at one time.
yes with out question the 4 gods of rock and when the music killed one they did the right thing broke up the band , but as the stars aline and the time is right they come together to show what we are missing today , and young jason isnt bad !

They were, are a will be best band ever!
POWERFUL! I'd sell my soul to have written that riff. 40 yrs later still gets me
That riff is worth millions of dollars, if it could be valued.
Maui Mig N
but he did sell it !
maybe jimmy did ?
John Woods Jimmy was/is part of the occult, so I won't be surprised
No matter how old I get, that riff and vocal make me 19 again. Fills me with sex and POWER. Beautiful.
Made me feel 18 again
lol ok boomer
John Thawng Please, never repent.
I remember when this DVD came out and I recorded the audio onto cassette and have blasted it through my car stereo ever since.
The Gods returned 1979 ~
Friends what has changed since 1979. LED Zeppelin live on and are the best.
I love the way an entire crowd of Brits will bust into a song and everybody starts singing. Try that with a crowd here in America.
The Star Spangled Banner comes to mind...
@@JoeandAngie very good point sir. I am wrong
I still think they should enhance the Knebworth Festival footage and show it live in IMAX theaters this coming year. Zeppelins last live performance on the big screen!
I went to this concert, the very bes showt ever I have seen or ever shall see period.
Will Whitfield that’s awesome man!! That’s like seeing Mickey Mantle play. Best band ever
Listening to the fills and jams you are hearing the riffs that would have been on the never-to-be-made "next" Zeppelin album. Poetry
excaping1 - damn bro, that’s some deep shit actually...
He used it with the FIRM....this riff inside out is 'closer' and of course Swan Song
This is my definition of raw.
Quite possibly the best rock song ever. Composed and performed by the best band ever! ...Funky!
Charles Harris to true Charles cuddent of sed it any better 👍👍👍
yes definatly in my top 3 and 4 gods at the very top of there game
One of the best live performances I have ever heard. The only thing remotely close to this is KISS ALIVE I & II. Zep flying high.
Man this is sooooo good !!!
just brilliant, enough said
SIMPLY THE BEST Long live ZEP.
Great video.
02:46 Page invented Djent bischhhh
I love Robert's banter between songs on the Knebworth shows so much, it makes what's already so much fun to listen to absolutely wonderful
Zack G. I know, that's why I watch all of the 1979 performances, and I like Plant's singing more than 1975/77
This is the "Funk" version of the song...it's my favorite!
Pure grade rock dripping with rugged moxy and an edge sharper than a straight blade. I need bigger speakers!
Greatest live version of Whole Lotta Love!
Beyond compare and simply on another level - ZEP!
Going thru my bureau found my Knebworth concert 1979 programme still completely safe & intact after all my moves ) w the New Barbarians, etc etc.how much drinks & food cost in those days COOL AF!
Wonder how many actual groupies from back in the day write ( or do) here???
Led Zeppelin. Enough said!
I woulda missed the almost 20+min versions of this song at this time on their tour........had I ever saw them live....

The Voice of God.... that song is pretty much what It sounds like.
I have a theory that God is a Zeppelin fan.
Old and still powerfull.

So THAT's the song that plays after Fearless that I knew I knew but forgot I forgot! This is the last of the great Live Bonham / ZEP at the end of it's zenith yet they had to learn that until that fateful 1980 day.
And in my youth I heard that riff on Top of the pops, week after week, they never played on that prog ever.
(even though it was a copy riff)
Nice tribute to Rodgers & Hammerstein!
Master musicians
best Songs ever 💋💋💋
best band ever tight but loose awsome
Pure power
I was at this gig!!!!!!
Thanks Randy you must be British or love the Brits🇬🇧
I am American but I do have a special fondness for Britain, especially the modern culture of the past 50 years there.
I was there too . All I can say in their words is , what is and what can never be .
Huh.. I just noticed the lyrical reference to I'm Gonna Crawl at 3:55
Surprised they didn’t play it like this at the 02

You'll never walk alone sounds just like the outro to fearless by pink floyd
same song
They left out the theremin part of this song where the physics kick in and you get the spacy things get into play and page gets his kicks on.
sublime
Os melhores!
Jimmy Page is God!
Yes he is the Book of Page
Wow
Sensacional
Música de verdade
Crowd sings same song as the last part of Pink Floyd’s Fearless. Amazing.

7:15 can’t tell if that was bad timing or not. But yeah, Led Zeppelin!
Morning Star lol yeah, either Bonham came in late or page came in early, thankfully Bonham patched things up a bit afterwards tho
8:02 is insert of Jimmi in the great Achilles Last Stand at the same gig
for god's sake...it's JIMMY Jimmy Fcking Page, not jIMMI
Much more better as 1973 Madison Square Garden Version!
Not the most well rehearsed version of WLL, but still great!
just fuck good .......magic simple that...........
He was so hot.
God that riff's bad as fuck. It hits you even harder live!
What bootleg was this playlist from, they look great even if you did enhance them?
