I bought the same exact holster a year ago for my 19... I have been using a bravo concealment iwb for 3 or 4 years. My 1791 has been sitting under my bed but this review made me pull it out and I'm wearing it now. Hopefully it will wear in.
Great Honest review! I just bought a 1791 holster for my G43, and really like. I’ve previously used premium kydex holsters and truthfully just wanted to try a a decent quality leather holster. I couldn’t be happier, great holsters.
What separates a good holster from a shitty one is quality of the leather/kydex plastic but also the CLIP a lot of people ignore this. I recognize that clip I have it on my cheap little Tx 1836 tagua holster, I thought this was the same company but i guess not. Not enough companies use that clip it’s awesome hooks onto sweatpants & everything. This looks awesome for $47, plus with Amazon shipping 👍🏾
Just bought my second 1791 holster this morning. My first is an outside waistband paddle. The second is a belt loop outside the waistband. The first thing I did after getting it home is to apply Obenauff's heavy boot oil on it. Just smear it on all over in Ludington thr edges and stitching. It will help preserve rhe leather fir years to come. I also sprayed some silicone on the inside to slick the surface down a bit. It grips the pistol well and feels very conforming and snug.

It will break in. It's a great holster.

They are amazing, especially for the money.

Like Nick's or Whites boots. Hell to break in but they will last for 20 years.

Be careful about the leather conditioner it can make it to soft.
Looks like a real good product. Thanks for the review. 😎👍

I like the thick leather looks like a well-built holster, doesn't look like they are trying to cheap out..
I've got a few of them and they're all great.
Fine looking holster 👍
Thanks 👍
I have a glock 19 gen 5 and I am right handed, would this be fine for me and what is the part number of the 1791 gun leather company ?
I've got a link to it in the description. It will take you to Amazon where you can get one.
Need one to maybe carry from time to time but need gun in something even just to ride around in truck
1791 makes great holsters
Just curious if the rough leather is scratchy against the skin.
It isn't that rough
Good video, but I would like to have seen it worn to get a better idea of ride height/depth and such
Maybe I'll do a video on one of my others that is more broken in. Stay tuned
@@BoomStickTactical I like leather for comfort, typically Carry a G26. I find Kydex tends to ride too high for my body type and taste
@@AlSiguenza leather is what I prefer also
You load your pistol? Absurd!
What good does an unloaded gun do?
