I've worn mine for almost 10 years with a Springfield 40 XDM 3.8. Great holster. Kydex broke on it about 3 years ago. Guess what? They replaced it FREE OF CHARGE!
I have had mine for 5 years. Carry a Glock 43. It has held up well. I cut some of mine down to make it more comfortable. A little leather oil and polish really makes it wear well. A great Holster.
You can order it with the combat cut, and its already cut down. I have used this holster with 1911s for over 20 years. Works great with full size or officer 1911.
I literally did the same exact thing with my crossbreed holster from day one after buying it if you cut and Contour it to specifically fit your gun in body it takes it to a whole new level
These cross breed holsters are super comfortable! Lenny you could actually get the mini tuck holster and it might even be a better fit for you! I love these holsters because they are so comfortable! I even forgot I had mine on once. I have only tried the super tuck and the mini tuck holsters from cross breed so I don’t know anything about their other holsters. It even comes with the combat cut which cuts the leather around the beaver tail of the weapon so you can get a full grip on the gun.
I purchased one of these awhile ago and made the exact same modification you mentioned for the exact same reason. As good as the quality is, I'm surprised they don't cut that notch deeper.
I’ve got the Minituck for my 43x (mos version). I’m not sure if it’s any different than the non mos. I have stock sites and it’s a little sloppy in the holster. It will fall out if you hold it upside down with the gun holstered. Maybe they’re thinking you’ll have suppressor sites and that’s why rents sloppy as mine is stock. Leith my fit I can go witness the stock sites so I didn’t change them. I’ll probably mess around with heating it up and putting it under vacuum to maybe tighten up the retention a little more. The best part for me is that I live in Florida and have been freeballing for a while now. Most of my cloths are swim/convertible type drawstring shorts. If I since the drawstrings up pretty good it stays in place and I can still get a good draw. And it works even better for those rare days that I wear pants and a belt. Because it’s leather it’s very soft in my skin and doesn’t stink from sweet. Sweet can be an issue but nothing will stop that in this state.
They are nice and comfortable. The downside I have found is over time, as the leather begins to break or "form" some, the retention becomes nearly non existent. Where he put the gun in and shook it upside down, try that after about a year and see if it still holds.
Love my Reckoning holster from Crossbreed.......Super comfortable and I always forget it's there.....I carry appendix and I can sit, drive, and go to the men's room without any interference......awesome products
I have the crossbreed for my g26 and it is super comfy. I did shave down the leather around the grip and regret nothing. I do wish I had a better set of tools to do it because the work is a little janky. I don't tuck my shirt since it does print a lot underneath for me if I try for that deep conceal, I am not a small guy. I carry around 4 o'clock and that is where it is most comfy. Still playing around with holsters but for CCW this is the best I have tried for the 4 o'clock position.
I have one for my 43x & 48, and they are very comfortable for all day carry. Does seem very big when you first look at it but it works like a charm. Can carry the 43x AIWB with it as well. Great video once again Lenny, you are awesome!
Once you break them in they are super comfortable. I have had these for years for my glocks and sig! I prefer the combat cut and it is easy to trim the leather.
Sorry being a bit of a smart-a @Ivan Badillo. Remember, do not rely on you tube for good info! Check out the manufacturers specs first and that will usually net you the best info. 👌
I've had a holster where the back holds in the gun when it bends to conform to your body. Don't like that style at all. I think AlienGear Holsters does a better job with this style by far.
but the pull is forward it off 30 deg. set at -15 deg. It not straight up . hear you can call them and they will cut it I had to cut trigger too it you sett on back the pull will be left hand the cant is off
CrossBreed is a very good quality holster. However, they do not make one to accommodate my firearm set-up... A quick note, I am currently using an Alien Gear holster version of that exact holster that also does not allow me to get a full purchase with my thumb upon drawing from the holster. What I do with said holster is place my thumb on the back of the slide and adjust placement as I come up to marry my support hand to the purchase/grip. It also gets my firing hand up as high as possible. Great info and review as always Lenny thank you, Merry Christmas to you and your family. Stay safe God Bless ✌️🇺🇲
Question: In the former NFL player Plaxico Burress NYC shooting himself in leg incident years back. Why did his gun go off? I believe he dropped it in his sweat pants. Not sure what kind of gun he had, but I guess it had no safety feature... and I guess he had no holster.
Okay Lenny why don't you do a video on plus P plus ammo in a Glock and how many rounds you can shoot before it blows up your gun or ruins the internal components do a video on that instead of trying to sell your wares try some safety videos. Everybody selling + p + thinking they can just shoot a couple hundred rounds through their weapons and that's not the case read the Sammi
Sorry but it bugs me everytime you "pull the trigger in a safe direction" one day youll make a mistake and your ears will be ringing and youll have a small hole through your floor. Just my opinion. No need to pull it unless your taking it apart to clean it
Step 1: Visually inspect to make sure the gun is clear. Step 2: Physically inspect to make sure the gun is clear. Step 3: Pull the trigger in a safe direction to release the striker tension. Now you have a safe gun
Did you miss the part where he racked the slide and checked to see if it was loaded before he pulled the trigger? Just because you pull the trigger on a firearm doesn't mean it's going to fire magically if it's empty.
Would you wear this holster as your everyday carry?
I prefer the phlster engima
I do!
I wear a mini tuck with my p365xl. Love it!
I've worn mine for almost 10 years with a Springfield 40 XDM 3.8. Great holster. Kydex broke on it about 3 years ago. Guess what? They replaced it FREE OF CHARGE!
hell no
I've had the SuperTuck in horse hide for about 10 years now. It's the best holster for side carry! I highly recommend it!
I have had my crossbreed holster for about a year and absolutely love it for everyday carry with my G19
I have had mine for 5 years. Carry a Glock 43. It has held up well. I cut some of mine down to make it more comfortable. A little leather oil and polish really makes it wear well. A great Holster.

That’s my exact set up. Love the holster and the 45 is the perfect conceal carry for my situation. Worth the price.

Excellent content delivery by The Glock Doc, Lenny McGill. Product overview, user experience and instructions for use. Boom! 👍
Lenny I absolutely love your videos !
Thanks for putting out such excellent content .

There's also some work to be done on the kydex section of the holster that can make it better to wear an draw as well

They do, just order the combat cut.....

You may want to look at a stealthGear ventcore backing on their holsters. I have 2 and I also live in Florida and no sweat problem.

Tighten that belt up lol.

Have you done a review on Hidden Hybrid holsters? Similar to the Cross Breed holsters.
Need to get me one of these for my 43x
Now if you cut out the part for your thumb, dose that void warranty to it
Need one of these for my G 48 MOS.
I have one for my 43x & 48, and they are very comfortable for all day carry. Does seem very big when you first look at it but it works like a charm. Can carry the 43x AIWB with it as well. Great video once again Lenny, you are awesome!

When I try to order it does not have an option for g45, do I get the one for the 17,19? And does it work with mos with red dot on the gun?
The g45 has the g19 slide...sooooo...you get the one for the g19
@@gregoryhobbs2926 just making sure before I buy it. Thanks for the response.

@@gregoryhobbs2926 I'm a big boy. Don't get butt hurt that easy. No worries 👍🏽
The horsehide material is even better
I’ve seen videos of this holster pressing the mag release and ejecting the mag. Dont take my word for it.
Go with the horsehide…have multiple version for multiple systems. You can order a “combat cut” that removes that leather.
They are great for heavy firearms. But anything smaller I’ve found it a pain to put it on and off
Vedder holsters are the best, especially for gen 5 Glocks.
Vedder Holsters. You mean the guys that clearly steal the names and designs from Crossbreed? lol
Can it be that comfy for a 5ft woman at 105lbs, too?
Have one for my Glock 48. Great holster.
I've had a holster where the back holds in the gun when it bends to conform to your body.

Totally agree. I use my aliengear holster for all mine. Picked up the entire shapeshift set.

Now ,I'm really interested in that 35 dollar holster that Mr Magill wears everyday !!!
for kidney placement pull is right but pocket placement wrong pull.

I also draw that way but I am afraid I will break my thumb with the slide if I am in a pinch
@@pjgppjgp you gotta get in the habit of brining your thumb around as you clear the holster on the draw... Practice practice👍😁
Just to be clear, this is for Glocks only, yes?
No. Crossbreed has holsters for tons of different firearm makes and models. Just check out their website.

You gotta get out more.
Et Al- defeat your garment
N8 are the most comfortable
Never said anything about it letting you tuck your shirt in
Yes he did.
How much I wish I could own a glock! Amazing guns!! In INDIA owning a gun is too difficult! :-(
Tulster holster is better
6ft on a good day....... 5ft 8 on any other day .......

Pulling the trigger every time after you safety check the pistol isn't necessary and a bad habit to get into, in my opinion.
