Just finished watching the other series excited to be on the ground floor for this one! Here's someone to put on the list: Name: Hilma BG: any farming related battle sister should be good Weapons: scythe/warscythe if she survives long enough for one, any reach farm tool if there's no scythes available Backstory: Always having preferred the company of other maidens, Hilma decided that throwing her lot in with the ragtag band of peasants calling themselves a militia is better than growing old and ostracized for never marrying. At least this way she'll be able to live as she chooses and be free to knock the block off of anyone who dares to tell her otherwise!
Great to see another Battle Brothers series. I always enjoy seeing how it all comes together with the same Lore. The character I'd like to see included would go by the name Huske. A former priest or monk, he's witnessed the crimes against the common folk and a burning zeal for justice now resides inside of him. He'll use any weapon possible, and hopefully he can have some traits that will let him stick with the fight....even when it might be better to retreat.
Yuuuuus, Peasant Militia! I'd like to take part here's my character I took the last 30 minutes to bang out. Name: Kimbo Weapons: Spear/shield combo Background: Farmer/Fishermen Backstory: A young lad Born on a small farm(or near a port) he spent most of his youth working the land(or fishing) with his father and sister. They lived meager lives, surviving on what little food they could keep after market day and what middling coin they could spare after tax. Day in day out they worked and worked. For the most part Kimbo was content with his life, he could eat, and sleep in a sometimes warm house. However, one day in town when he saw the local lord hand a sell sword a hefty sack of gold it got him thinking. What could a man do with that? Why he could buy more land for the family, pay for hired help to spare his aging father and little sister. The thoughts plagued him day in day out until he had enough. He told his father, of course he didn't like it. "Who would help him with the farm," Who would look out for his sister," he argued. They fought for days. Kimbo's mind was made however, he woke up late one night and left the farm to offer up his services on a battlefield somewhere. He hoped to make it big. He may die young but he'd leave a fortune for his father and sister in his wake.
Two things you've helped me actually get better with this game just through your playthroughs so I appreciate that. Also let's do a peasant named Drisk he isn't scared of much and will fight to the death. He's a little slow to new ideas especially after the death of loved ones during his teenage years. He doesn't talk much but is loyal to a fault. Can be one or two handed mace or sword really whatever you need tbh just wanna be in this video.
I was watching your previous Battle Brothers series, now that a new one started I would like to join. My character would be named Cafden, he is a young farmhand who decided that after multiple attacks on the common folk from all kinds of foe, he will try to help protecting others, but he needs to find like minded folks for this effect. He hates greenskins because once a horde of them killed his uncle. Also he was from a young age, fascinated with 2H warhammers, because once he talked with a knight for a moment, that was wielding one. For him it was an unusual and rare weapon. He figured he might as well try mastering the art of warhammers.

Seein how it seems to be a relatively empty spot, i'd like to see a ranged character included (I'd preffer Crossbow, but i'd take a Sling too in the meantime/if there are many crossbowmen already on the list). Name is Elma, and for BG, i'd enjoy anything hunting related. As for story, i'd pictured an old hunter, who after years of having his work taxed by noblemen/being forced to bend to local regulations (Forest and the like used to be privatized to noble foraging/hunting only a lot, with private groves and the like) decided to go rogue and join mercs just to not have to bend the knee to their laws
Elma's on the list! With it being lowborn only I think the only accessible hunting based BG we can hire is Poacher to be fair, Hunters are a bit too rich for our blood..

One day while out looking for good lumber he stumbled upon a goblin camp. Unfortunately unknown to Rhogar the goblins saw him and followed him back to his village and started to kill everyone. Rhogar grabbed his axe and start to defend who he could and at the end of the night he managed to save a handful of villagers but he soon left as they began to rebuild to hide his shame.

Name: Erik "The Scarred" BG: Cultist Weapons: 1H Flail/ 2H flail / Whips Backstory: Erik was a little child when his family was slaughtered in a raid of his little village by some northern raiders, he managed to survive by fleeing in the forest and there he met a strange group of people praying in the dark. He joined these people and their cult because he had nothing left and quickly the cult became his new family. After some years Erik was a grown men and he started to question the morals of his new family but also it was the only thing left to him. One day the head of the cult ,believing that Erik was a traitor, decided to exile him and that he could only return if he could prove his faith to the cult. Now Erik once more alone and lost in this continent is in search of a new purpose or perhaps to return to his lost family. Only time will tell
question : do you use a mod to remove the mind-boggling dumb limit of soldiers that can take part in battle ? And if yes, may I ask which mod it is ? I always found the idea of having up to 18 space in your formation, but being arbitrarily limited into not being able to fill them incredibly stupid, especially considering the AI is NOT affected by said limitations
I don't use a specific separate mod per se to do that, believe it's just part of the Legends Mod. And then even more so with the current peasant militia origin (As I think we can take up to 22 people into a fight?). There might be a complete separate mod for it though on Nexus

While ive just recently discovered your channel via the tales of girthy greg, id be honored to be put in as a character. ---May i introduce to you Heimo Wengerer, the heir to a peasant lineage of... how should i put it... Lets go with absolute imbeciles! Only the slightest mentions of someones ability to read can send Heimo into a fit of rage. For only the fair skinned (as in never steps out into the sun to do some proper back breaking work) and soft handed weaklings of the world would ever stoop so low as to bury their noses in books! But not so with Heimo, lacking the basic understandig of the concept of danger, it leaves him a man wo is as fearless as he is reckless. You will often find him on the forefront of conveniently provoked fights amongst likeminded individuals, hurling well thought out insults like 'stump-nose' or 'wet-eye' while refusing to dodge the incoming blows directed at this dense head of his. When it comes to the choice of weapons it matters not to Heimo, for if a head is cracked open by a hammer or split apart by an axe, it equally brings out this idiotic grin that lets you fade into darkness knowing you have just been mutilated by a man who has had his last coherent thought somewhere around five years ago.--- As i only know battle brothers by watching various series on youtube i dont know any of the specifics on builds, therefore my build recommendations are limited to high resolve, high HP any twohanded weapon of your choice with a background that makes a believeable idiot. But honestly, the only thing you would need to do in order to do Heimo Wengerer justice is to drive home the narrative point that he would loose an intelectual battle against a rock. And dont be afraid to let him die as a sacrificial lamb against an unsurmountable amount of weberknechte or direwolfes, it would be a very befitting end for the man who is to stupid to run away. Thanks for the awesome content, honestly, your storybuilding is some of the best ive seen in any kind of RP-esque game, two weeks of watching your channel and i only have 8 more episodes of wanker escapades left and i cant wait to see what these chodes are made of! 🤟

@@NorthernSoulGaming glad that Heimo struck the mark, but i figured given the fact that the setup is a comedic bunch of drunkenly squabbling peasants hed fit right in. on top of that the wengerer clan is my go to choice when playing dnd, mount and blade warband or skyrim, its really getting me exited to know that the wengerers will cause some major ruckus in newfound lands! Onwards Scrotums!

Backstory: Born in the sweltering heat of the southern kingdom, Khelad grew up to become one of the deadliest killers. He was trained in the arts of stealth, archery and sword fighting. Ones he was on a mission with his good friend John, the aim of which was to rob the local nobles, but they were caught and John died after a tough fight against the guards, which Khelad narrowly escaped. After he returned to the guild, he was immediately kicked. From that point on, Khelad moved across the country and began his new life as a mercenary.
