My father was a radio operator in a B-17 and PBY reconnaissance planes. When he was out on patrol he would listen to music from Hawaii from the left ear and the Military Channel with the right! His Morse code reading was automatic, he'd have to look at what he wrote to get the message!

Im learning it for 2 reasons: 1) if i go in the backrooms in my dreams i need this.. 2) to translate the song part “I tried to get the waiter’s attention by blinking in morse code” “why are you blinking so much”
1. Your proctors would hear your pen/feet and make you stop fucking being so god damn annoying with the bashing and clicking 2.If they can't hear, then you should be able to talk to your cheating buddy
lol i did it in my exam and it worked. Pen= q number don't click like 20times if it's like Q20, just come up with a short cut say like using roman numerals, do 2 extended pen clicks for 20. Feet tapping = a,b,c,d

Pretty similar to how encrypting and decrypting is viewed. Morse code isn’t a code, it’s technically a cipher. There is a lot of discussion in cryptology and cryptography about this topic. The general gist is that you first “decipher” or “decrypt” the incoming dots and dashes into letters and afterwards decode into full sentences or words since the messages are coded. For example S O S is code for Save Our Souls But “encrypting” it would be … _ _ _ … The reason why it’s technically “encrypting” or “ciphering” is because you are replacing each letter with dots and dashes. Why it’s technically not “encrypting” or “ciphering” is because there is no algorithm nor any mathematical involvement. Also the guy was clearly joking around.
I feel like I could leave this on loop all night, and I'd wake up the next morning like that Dexter's Lab episode where all he could say was "omelette du fromage".
There's an episode where he's stuck in detention and he can't talk so trys using Morse code but fails cause a big guy took it as an insult and punched him
Oh i was once visiting germany and there was this one spy museum i think, and there was a machine where you can write something and then you get a ticket with the thing you wrote as morse
if you dont know, the machine your using is probably a telegraph if it is, or maybe its the whole radio communication set i never been to those museums so i dont know

I actually know some of this because of the 3DS game Steel Diver Sub Wars. The texting in that game was quite unique as you had to use Morse code to type out the letters rather than using a keyboard. Also if you remember this game then you’re amazing.
When they do it the difference between a dit(.) and a dah(-) is still the same, no matter the speed. A dah is three times the length of a dit. Secondly, they are simply more advanced and have learned to pick up on the brief intervals. (A space for a word is three times the space for a letter.)
Fun fact: In the Walkie Talkie of Before There was a MORSE CODE function. (Also in toy ones) With them you could communicate through Morse Code, but when time passed. They removed the button

1980, a cold morning in NYC, I went to FCC office for my ham radio general class morse code test, which 13 words per minute. I was the only oriental guy in thin cloth, kungfu shoe. about 35 person in the room, after fcc examiner sent out morse code & we copied & answer multiple choice questions.. I copied & answered all questions. surprised, most people said can not hear good. so the fcc guy said, will try again, if anyone had no problems & walked out.. I walked out with other 2 guys... outside FCC guy said ...all 3 guys passed.. my first call sign ka2kx? N5eH? now AB4r? hehe
