@@Endpoint101 So most if not all places have access to a network these days, but I understand what you are saying & it can be done without the need for a network, but in your opinion would the latency be a lot better than say a Series X/S9 Tab connected to 2 decent networks?
Would you say the capture card method is a far better option than a good stable connection via remote play?
@@bellgarron7772 That'd be difficult to say & would need some testing to find out. I've not got an Xbox, and haven't ever tried remote play. It'd be a good experiment tho!
Would this work with a wii ? Or does the console need a screen
Hmm, I think it would, yes
Hi I've just got a new Ipad and am looking to connect my Switch to it to act as a display? Would this solution work on an ipad pro and what specific cables or adapters would I need? And can you post ebay/amazon links to them?
I'd love this to work on iPhone/iPad.. unfortunately Apple haven't added driver support for it in iOS :(
@@Endpoint101 what about the new galaxy tab S8 ultra will it work on that?
Very likely, but I don’t know for sure.
Is there any screen lag? (Truck driver with an xbox)
There is, yes. But this app is a lot better.. th-cam.com/video/8CmLM3p4_4Y/w-d-xo.html
hows the battery while doing this?
I'm having an issue. Does the adapter have to have a USB port to the hdmi? I bought a USB-C to HDMI connector and it doesn't work.
It depends on what adapter you bought. What brand is it? Does it support your phone? Please make sure that your adapter support your phone.
It doesn't work for me plz help
Also I have a usb to hdmi adapter not a usb connector and a hdmi if that the problem
Other people have found it’s the USB otg adapter that was the bit that didn’t work for them.. the one that came with my phone worked, but 3rd party ones aren’t all created equal.
Can we use that adaptor and that applicaton on laptob too?(without conection?)
If you have a Chromebook, that app might work ok on it. If it’s a Windows laptop, you’d need to use another application.. something like VLC, but in my experience it’s quite laggy.
@@Endpoint101 is surface pro good?
The surface pro is a good PC, but I’ve not found any software (yet) which reduces the lag sufficiently.
How many fps get from that video capture
Can I use this in my ps3 ?
Yes, absolutely. And this now works if you have an iPad that has USB C th-cam.com/video/HsLIf9bKGtU/w-d-xo.html
Hey sir, I have a Samsung a70 and I want to purchase the adapter to play ps4 on my phone, will it work? Please reply because I want to get it really badly. Thx!
I can't say for sure. Maybe some A70 owners can let us know whether it works on that model...
So is there no way to use your iphone as a monitor for an xbox one/series s?
Unfortunately not. Not until iOS properly supports these types of devices 😔
It's not working for me. Is it because I'm using an USB c to a 3 in 1 (USB, hdmi, USB c)
Will this work for ps3.I am buying ps3 with 15 games 3 controller for 100 dollars. The place where I would be staying for 2 years having a monitor is not possible.please reply.
Would this work with a ps1 being converted to hdmi and is there a certain app I need
Yes, and yes.. there’s a new app I’m recommending which is v.low latency.. I review it in this video th-cam.com/video/8CmLM3p4_4Y/w-d-xo.html
Hey! I tried it on my ps4 pro but I can’t see anything, I only hear it, then tasted it on my Xbox one and it worked perfectly, do u know why it could be?
That’s odd.. did you use the same hdmi cable? Oh, and what resolution is the PS4 Pro set to output? Maybe force it to 1080p if you can?
@@Endpoint101 i use diferentes hdmi cables none of them worked, and I tried it in diferentes resolutions and it didn’t work sadly.
@@sterxhenry8952 :( Very strange. Anyone reading this have any ideas?
I have the same problem when I try connecting my ps4 with nExt camera. Any fixes?
it will work on xbox360
Yes.. anything with a HDMI connection :)
I read a review on the app that says its malware, is there any other app?
You'd have to try out other apps.. it's the one I've been using for a while with things like the USB inspection camera I reviewed here; th-cam.com/video/kBWyc37fY3s/w-d-xo.html - I've not had any issues with it so far on my Galaxy S9.
If you find a decent alternative, please let us know.

@@random7974 it will work for any console u can use hdmi on, I have a NesClassic mini that I take with my tablet to the in-laws, I’ve used it for my PS4 and my switch
I have evrything in this video. Then i use the USb camera app. Everything works well but there is no sounds.. is there any possible solution to that? Thanks
Hmm, I didn’t think of that when I recorded the video.. you could hook up a pair of headphones to the Switch (or most other consoles), but I wonder if there’s a setting in the app (or another app that’s better) which turns on the audio?
@@Endpoint101 i follow everything in this video. I buy a brand new otg cable and a capture card like that. Everythingnis fine i capture the video with no problem except the sounds. I try to change everythin i think could work in the settinfs in the app. Still no luck :(
I search some similar app but still no luck no sounds or i just dont know what to do. That app still the best. So i really dont know what to change. In switch im using original dog and the hdmi cable..
Or maybe the capture card is have a factory defect? Can capture video but no sounds. Well i still figuring out what is wrong or do i need to something to make i work..
Have you got a PC you can try it with? If you install OBS, that can capture the output from the HDMI adapter.. maybe see if that manages to capture the audio.
Here’s a quick followup video.. I take a look at the settings, double check sound is working, and check latency a bit. th-cam.com/video/TTKhLBh4WGA/w-d-xo.html

Hi is there other app without ads?
Yes, this one; th-cam.com/video/8CmLM3p4_4Y/w-d-xo.html
How can i used this on an ipad? With a switch lite?
Unfortunately Apple haven’t implemented the drivers needed for this to work on a iPad.. such a shame.. I bet the iPad would be awesome for this!
Will it work for my ps5 to my s24 ultra
Yeah, it should work fine 🙂
Is there anything similar that allows you to charge the phone at the same time?
I’ll see if I can try my usb hub (th-cam.com/video/ktmjBcabRlw/w-d-xo.html) with it when I get a chance.
@@Endpoint101 Ah that would be great, thanks!
will this work with nintendo wii?pls reply.
No, not without another converter to get the Wii to output hdmi.
Has anyone tried this with the galaxy tab s6 lite? I see that many devices are not compatible:(
Have you tried it on your galaxy tab 6 lite? I have the same tablet and is wondering if it will work as well.
Hey can I play with my Xbox Series x/s with that method ?
Yes.. anything with hdmi should work.
@@Endpoint101 Bro can I use the same method on iPad ?
Unfortunately not.. Apple haven't put driver support for this in iOS 😔
Can u use a hdmi/ C type cable from my xbox sx to my android phone...would that work?
