    I have a idea for the channel….you should do a Dee Jay Verses series. Like show good tactics against a certain character and how to punish their moves with Dee Jay. Anyways love your content and appreciate all the help!

      Yeah! Solid idea for sure. Once I get a little deeper into the character I'll work on some matchup specific tec

      Bro PLEASE HOW THE FUCK DOES DEEJAY BEAT JP?
      I played a buddy who has been playing since launch, and I've been playing 3-4 days, and his jp cooked my deejay like 25-3.
      Granted that experience gap sounds huge but I'm a VERY experienced sf and fighting game player and I learn and adapt fast in every game. So the exp gap isn't that huge for real.
      That being said, I couldn't figure out how I'm supposed to win that match. So frustrating because it takes forever and a bunch of damage/drive damage to get to jp. If I slip up he says jab jab special to knock me Fullscreen and does it again. If he hits me with ANYTHING from Fullscreen he can go into level 3 or whatever.
      I finally learned what the command grab looks like to jump. I learned some tricks like light flash kick feint to go over anything besides the spikes. Zoning is hard because his spikes are too fast to make the trades worth it.
      His counter is broken. It should go away if he gets hit. I try to throw him if I activate the counter..
      He wasn't jumping at all, and when he did I was losing straight up or trading in his favor because his jump in button or angles weren't letting it get through. Only consistent antiair that was kinda working was back hk. He never jumped from a range that slide would work
      Any time I went for a sway into overhead mix he would jab me out. He wasn't mashing he was reacting to that. Sway into low is good vs him but I don't get much off of it. Tried to set up frame traps with it and he wasn't falling for them.
      Tried to apply your mp mp target combo into HP whiff punish frame traps you do and he would never press a button to counter with HP.
      I was trying a everything I could and I'd find these little tiny things to do in specific situations that kinda helped but the amount of HARD work I have to do to get next to him, and then I have to not mess up any combos or frame traps or he just knocks me full screen with no effort was miserable...
      Was trying to punish the special that they knock you back with (on block) with med sobat and that worked kinda. S.mk works well there too.
      I need more little situation specific solutions and punishes and tricks man because I'm at a loss and really thinking about learning braindead Luke to Sandblast the mofo..
      Lastly I went to look up fuudo playing deejay vs various jp players to see if I could find anything, and fuudo got bodied by all 3 jps I watched videos of. He lost like 6 or 7 to 1 across all the videos I watched so I assume it's a bad MU if fuudo struggles that bad.
      But please man if you have ANY Info or tricks please let me know.
      Do you have a discord or fb messenger or way I can private message you?

    Great video as always. Would love to see more videos with specific training routines and drills, especially related to block strings and maintaining pressure once you're "in". Also would be stoked to see you breaking down some actual games played as that Marisa match was actually very instructive, surprised you can play/talk at the same time so well haha

    For the heavy kick on punishcounter. In 99% of situations just do a heavy punch to start a realy high combo

    3:53 medium DP has no aerial invulnerability, which makes it a lot harder to antiair with, but it leads to a better reward than heavy DP if you manage to land it because it launches and leads to a juggle to heavy DP in the corner or as a predictive anti air (it leads to OD DP in midscreen as long as you're close enough)

    "Aaaand, we wiffed the anti-air, that's so sad." 4HK is a super weird anti-air. It seems like it covers a lot of space but really you need to wait until someone's sitting on your forehead.

    • @AmAaronFGC
      @AmAaronFGC  ปีที่แล้ว

      BRO I KNOW. It looks like a nasty high reaching anti air, but it isn't active enough to use it freely. It is good tho, I'm just bad.

    • @tonykirk8295
      @tonykirk8295 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      4HK is great for me bc intuitively I always wait for them to be just above me before anti airing and I’ve always been bad at anti airs with more diagonal AAs

    11:58 I don't think alot of people know about the feint, I think alot of people just are just mashing buttons and not even realizing what they've done there. I've played new challengers using modern controls who do nothing but jump, sweep, and fireballs with Ryu who blow that feint up everytime and I'm just like "Ain't no way you know what you're actually doing there you just mashing" lol
