So many people have done a hardcore series, and so many people are burnt out of watching/making those, that I think chill lets plays are the trend now. I mean dantdm is doing his own thing, and that's how I found this channel.

usually i see beta 1.7.3 minecraft lets play videos but ive never seen this done in modern versions of the game, really nice to see!

i lost my world about a year and a half ago and it was devastating, i’m still grieving it. it was young - it’s almost been as long since i lost it as it was from when i created it - but i loved it so much. since then i’ve tried starting new worlds but have trouble sticking with them. i realized the other day that what made my old world so fun and me love it so much is that i didn’t take it so seriously. there were times that were /more/ serious and carefully planned, but for the most part i approached it in a very lighthearted manner, silly even! i still miss that world a lot, but i think if i keep “following the fun” i can create a world that i hold just as close to my heart. it is a game, after all. :)
This was a very beautiful comment. I'm sorry that you lost your world, but I think its good that you did some reflecting on the things the made it special. Its never to late to start a new world and start creating new memories in it! As you said, f'ollow the fun', play at your own pace, and just enjoy the beauty minecraft has to offer. I have seen your videos on recommended for a while. So I started watching the first episode. And I am just so excited for the rest of this series! I still need to watch all the other episodes!! LOL. Thank you! Yea, the sky is a mod called Better Clouds and I use a resource pack called Fresh Animations for all the cool little animations ❤

I dont know my plans for my worlds are kinda unreasonable too. Right now it's a scandinavian medieval village with a path that goes up a mountain 200 blocks higher and it's steep 😂 With a 70 block tall tower on top as a base it sounds easy maybe but it's rough yet possible

@@Etat Im glad thank you! have i mentioned i want to add a Harbor to the village as it's on sea level and theres a open cave where i want to put a mine in there 😭 The seed is really Beautiful i could Imagine you building really Beautiful stuff there if you ever start over again, But sadly it's on Fabric with Tectonic 🥲

Last world had a village (own style medieval) with a tiny Harbor but not finished connecting, a farmland on completly terrarformed ground with a lot of cozy paths and custom Lampposts, for all crops+Sugarcane+Farmers delight crops (4 or more) with plenty room for them.all 2 working windmills that Acted as Farmerhouses, underneath one i broke a hill open and started to detail the cliff and every littke corner carvinh it inside slowly making a tiny path going deeper decorated with stone slabs stairs for depth, Ores plants and other rocks for detail, Then at the bottom there was a lush enchanter on a little cave pond manmade with moss blocks glowberries etc. Amethysts was really nice but destroyed my fps.. 😭😂 And far off just cause i wanted to i did a megabuild Arena Colosseum style Very high made from sandstone, and cherry on top(litterly 😂) was The Amethyst glass dome. It took longer than the rest of the build🤣 kinda sad i build it somewhere where i didn't even look at it. im sad i dont play on the world anymore as i adore what i build and i think i did great fr especially the farm. Even tho i hate what i do most times. Hopefully wont burn out as much this time but i at least have Beautiful graphics and better Performance on my side to help

Wh... why did the stone blocks at 1:25 and 1:59 make grass block noises
😂 I think there was glow lichen on the other side of the block, and it just popped off when I broke the stone lol
