Isn't that what you're supposed to do? 😳 A few buddies of mine and I once leveled a whole mountain just so we could build our houses there, just using stone tools as to not waste our iron, which we were having trouble finding. It was a pretty chill experience though, since we just talked about life all the way through. One of our best moments in our little server.
True! More often than not for me i create a whole farm, set of land, livestock, and navigated the whole nearby area before i even dig far enough to get full iron tools.
Everyone's talking about how relaxing the video is but _no one_ is mentioning the anxiety inducing coincidences of the door to the house being open, the iron going missing, and that creepy shot of Etat when he was _"dealing with"_ the pillagers like someone was watching him from his window lmao
I love this style of playing minecraft - where things aren't optimized, and where the general experience comes before the need to "progress" the game. I feel heard.
Need of progress that has the purpose of optimizing times. Why would you do the stuff you wanna do before getting the best gear and have nothing to do with them?
I agree with all of the other comments praising your slow relaxing pace of your videos. I want to watch a let’s play, not a “let’s document my progress I made mostly off camera”
@@Gratn It wouldn’t be a bad idea to have two channels, one for the long-play slow paced videos and one that trims that down to show progress to people who only care about that.

yknow this is actually exactly what i need as a new player. i love how you explain the things that are obvious to everyone else who has played this game for 15 years. i really do feel inspired to keep building my own base -- and now i know how i can utilize the crazy amounts of copper i end up with
this series and the one by shrammy have been so healing. not to mention i finally found some minecrafters who take the time to do interiors! i go through phases with minecraft: starting a new save and grinding for weeks and just rushing through, ending up burnt out and abandoning my world, rinse and repeat. it makes you miss the days of being a kid and just building things out of pure creativity and enjoyment, never caring about the best tools or armour. i've been so inspired to finally create my own forever file in a singleplayer.
Aww I'm so happy to hear this! I grew up and learned so much about minecraft through the early let's play videos wayyyy back in the day. I'm so glad that I'm able to help you learn new things and that you're finding inspiration through my videos! Thank you so much for watching
TH-cam just recommended this to me! I’ve always enjoyed Pixlriffs Minecraft guide series and mainly the building aspects, and this has such a similar vibe to it. It’s absolutely perfect :)
Your editing and building skills are already at the level i expect out of someone with a million subscribers! i feel lucky to have found you early on in this series. you obviously have a clear creative vision and it brings back memories of staying up way past my bedtime marathoning etho and bdubs videos when i was a kid. The format you have being closer to the joy of painting than tiktoks is something ive really been craving in the minecraft youtube space lately! thank you for filling that niche. instant sub!
that’s such a good way of wording it! to me, minecraft videos have always been about relaxing and being able to immerse myself in watching someone create cool things and sometimes weave a story into it… just like bob ross :)
Awww thats the sweetest thing anyone has ever said! I relate heavily with marathoning etho and bdubs. Thank you so much for the kind comment! I'm glad you caught the connection to the Joy of Painting 😊. I appreciate your support ❤
At first i thought this was one of those documentary videos about "how to have fun when building", but the slow pacing, well done but simple editing and overall vibe of the video showed what i was lacking, the appreciation of the moment, the passion. Thanks
Not only is this playthrough my absolute favorite kind of building, the editing is also high skill with super immersive attention to detail without ever feeling rushed or hectic. All that, but what really makes it stand out for me so far, is the consistently gentle and thoughtful approach to mobs and wildlife in general. How many people who play minecraft on YT would casually offer home to a stranded attic enderman who just needed to get out of the rain?
Thank you so much! I really appreciate it, that means the world to me! Hahaha I think endermen are just misunderstood creatures 😂. Lol I appreciate the kind words, thanks for tuning in

Btw add a few piles of different stone type around the quarry, maybe play around with trapdoors as crates stonecutters and different chisiled types of stone, railroad tracks as “rope” over the stones, idk. Just some tips. Love this!
I can't explain how much I love Minecraft videos like this, where the player plays the game in a slow pace, specially when they speak slowly and in a low tone, no screaming or shouting, it's so peaceful and it helps me when I am feeling anxious

I like to watch chill minecraft videos while i’m trying to fall asleep as a sort of white noise… i’m less than a minute in and can already tell that your videos will be perfect! so many minecraft youtubers these days are so fixated on making everything big and loud and crazy, trying to do anything to grab their audience’s attention, that it seems like they forget about actually making a good and watchable video. i’m more and more appreciative of channels like yours that haven’t abandoned the video format that built the foundation of minecraft youtube :)

I am really happy to find this video and your series because of just how slow paced and building focused it is . I myself play in a very similar way (even if its nowhere as large scale as your buildings) , terraforming nearby lands , flattening , raising and everything , building up big manual farms and spending hours decorating them (because I need my food from my beautiful field) before ore grinding 😅. The mine looks absolutely beautiful , your overall commentary and the minecraft music just feel so good to watch and listen to . Edit - 19:10 that screaming face structure though. Maybe the comment talking about horror was really onto something .
the nighttime mondstadt music is so much more fitting for minecraft than i realized. excellent video, excellent music choice, excellent vibes, im excited to see what you continue to make ❤

I usually watch your videos before I sleep because they are very relaxing and make me feel very happy. The slow place of this let’s play is so good, I love when people make content like this rather than quick let’s beat the game so we can build after which people tend to favor.
i love the way you use the replaymod! the shots are cinematic but make it feel like the audience is in the world watching you build, it's really unique.

I like trapdoors because you can play with the depth a little bit by swapping what block they're on to add a bit of curvature to railings, they are annoyingly expensive though
Totally agree, trapdoors are amazing! I also agree that they are extremely expensive.... I was chopping and replanting trees for way too long 😅 Thanks for watching

first time watching and I love how calm and unexagerrated your voice is! this plus the longer form of the video is really relaxing to me, almost like a podcast :)
Dude! Just found your channel.. LOVE the pacing of this, really captures the true spirit of Minecraft in my heart. I know there's infinite ways to appreciate this game, and it's changed over the past decade+ but something about this takes the magic I found in the game during the alpha/beta days and brings it into modernity. I admire your architectural ambition too! I get caught up in "functional" styled builds, especially when it get caught up building mob grinders/farms. Appreciate what you're doing here. Keep at it, there's not enough of this out there.
Awww thank you! That means a lot, I'm glad you're finding some nostalgia with these videos. Minecraft has been such a big part of my life, its crazy to think of how much it has evolved! But some of my fondest memories are from the early days, and for a while I lost that approach to the game. I started doing everything for the sake of ultra efficiency. Its funny because making this series has really helped me too 😂 I'm finding so much more enjoyment with a slower/relaxed pace. Thanks for watching
i love that you just went to building with stone tools before gettin iron tools, you're just like me and im so surprised to see any minecraft video on youtube like that because people usually go to diamond tools immediately or at least iron i dont know it makes me happy
Hey I just discovered your channel for the first time and your video is really nice, chill and calming. One thing I saw you doing is REALLY taking your time and enjoying your time playing. I used to rush the game a bit many times and not come back to the same world again until I took one world really slow and just enjoyed the game for what it is and my own imagination. You created an awesome world that motivates me and inspires me to make a world like you have. (Also love all the little details in your builds and you have earned a subscriber!)
Thank you so much! Exactly, hahaha this whole series was made due to burnout on a previous world lol. I've been really enjoying this slower paced world, it feels very nostalgic for me. I appreciate your support, thanks for checking out the video!
Love the series so far! I've recently been struggling with perfectionism in my worlds and I've found your videos to be very inspirational. Keep up the great content!
I've never Seen video like yours before, it's so relaxing, doing everything with a stone pick axe (the terraforming/digging)!must have been very paintfull
Damn what a great episode. It's really chill and i feel like you're playing the game how it's meant to be played. Also some creepy storytelling going on.
This is really nice. I never watched a video of you before and it is so nice to not watch the eight over the top build. It's all just so... normal and calm. This is for me what Minecraft should feel like :)
Man, i just finished watching it all the eps and like 3 years ago i almost got in the trap that you did with your hardcore world lol, i only didn't because the world only las half/1 year lmao. But i noticed that wenever i built with nk planning i gotway happier lol Anyway i love the series and you even gave me some ideas (with this epsode especially) Anyway keep up the great work
Thank you! Yea I know exactly what you mean about being way happier when you build without planning! Theres definitely a better sense of satisfaction and accomplishment when you build on the fly like that. I appreciate you for watching and sharing your experience with building too 😊
1. love that you built a huge and stunning house while still primarily using stone tools, the correct priorities 2. the rickety and almost untrustworthy old rollercoaster vibe is really amazing, the ride itself and the way its placed in the environment is amazing 3. im an easy mode player becuase of paranoia and being a wimp, but you make playing in hard mode look so much less stressful than i find it, i really enjoy your energy and your builds, the cinematic shots really add to the experience :) ps. love the attic enderman friend
Hahaha thank you! Of course, a beautiful home is top priority 😂 Nothing wrong with playing on easy mode, I used to be an easy mode gamer too! I actually used to switch my difficulty to peaceful mode whenever I got scared 😅lmao. Eventually I just got accustomed to hard mode because it's better for the zombie villager curing process. The beautiful thing about Minecraft is that you do have the choice to pick a difficulty. So just keep playing at your own pace! 😊 I appreciate the kind words, thank you so much ❤
So far, I've recognised some soundtracks from Genshin Impact and Stardew Valley being used in this series. Excellent choices, and the overall quality of your production is remarkable~ Keep it up!
At 2:31 you put in some third person shots. Maybe you could try to zoom the camera/fov a little bit in and slowly make the camera move like at 16:42 so it looks a lot more cinematic. Moving a couple blocks away and then zooming in might be looking great too. The shots at 16:42 look amazing btw and I just love these kind of MC videos without heavy editing. I want to see you and this type of content to get more attention and success. Keep it up and stay on track!
I recommend adding a trim around the copper roof of your house, right now it looks a bit like the roof is just plopped onto the house, and a trim would make it fit in more. Deepslate bricks could look nice
Hey man amazing video! Seriously keep it up I love the ideas you have going so far and you have given myself and I am sure plenty others lots of inspiration. Very calm and peaceful playthrough and I commend you for that so thank you. As well what terrain generation mod are you using? Or did you just luck out with a sick spawnpoint?
Thank you! I'm definitely gonna take on the ancient city at some point! Gotta get slightly better gear and then I'm going searching for that silence armor trim! Thanks for the support 😊
Now that's a staircase, an ancient city with iron armor and an iron sword now lets make an equation out of that. AC+IA+IS=D where D= death. Finlay ladders on trapdoors I'm at this years when did that happen.
I always did this even in multiplayers with my friends. But there's a downside that can't made me maximize my build and slowly priorities at mining and exploring, it's about trolling. I keep getting killed by my friends randomly due to lack of armor and weapons I had ( I only got iron because for me, Iron is already enough to fight all minecraft content ( except hardcore of course ) and my friends already got diamonds and netherites ) so I priorities building because it's much fun. I know trolling is a mainstream thing, everyone always did it but it's really get annoying really quick when I build tall/underground things, I need to get there really far.
Awww I understand your frustration. I would definitely recommend playing around in a singleplayer world then! You could do all the random shenanigans on the multiplayer server and then have your singleplayer world to focus on building 🙂
I struggled to make these kind of beautiful builds but when we played minecraft 1.13 (Wii U edition, lol) with my friend, we were both surprised how well we did as a team!
It can be a little more expensive but you should look into using Hanging Signs as your hand railings. Personally I think it makes an excellent substitute for trap doors when things start to look very same-y, and it's got a perfect aesthetic for it :)
Bro started terraforming before geting iron tools, hes got his priorities straight
LOL of course! Gotta have my land looking pretty before doing anything else 😅
I end up doing the same thing often … it’s just so relaxing. Love to turn my brain off and slowly dig.
Ah, yes! Terraforming!
Isn't that what you're supposed to do? 😳 A few buddies of mine and I once leveled a whole mountain just so we could build our houses there, just using stone tools as to not waste our iron, which we were having trouble finding.
Thanks for watching
i love that you just went to building with stone tools before gettin iron tools, you're just like me and im so surprised to see any minecraft video on youtube like that because people usually go to diamond tools immediately or at least iron
i dont know it makes me happy
Hahaha thank you! We've got our priorities 😂, pretty building before getting good tools lol. Thanks for watching!
Im literally in love with your voice its so calming and cheerful
Awww thank you so much!!! 😊
You've gained a new subscriber! the simpleness of the builds and storytelling is what drew me in.
Kind of reminds me of old school Minecraft let's pay
Thanks so much! Thats exactly what I'm going for! I've always enjoyed minecraft but the most fond memories were during the old school lets play era ❤
I'm loving this series. My favorite thing is coming across a content creator like this. Subscribed and caught up!
Ayyy you're the best! Thanks so much ♥
Great video! I really like this type of slower paced minecraft videos, it feels more "authentic". Plus, your voice is so relaxing I love it!
Aww thanks! That means a lot ❤
No problem and congrats with the 11k!!@@Etat
@@Etat make a red stone powered elevator.
@@Ukrassiankssr Lol I don't know if I have the redstone knowledge to be able to make an elevator! 😂
The reverb on your voice in the caves is the extra touch I appreciate.
Wait, I remember you! I think I came across your 1.20 Let’s Play a few months back. So glad you showed back up after I got a new Google Account!
Ayyy welcome back!!! 😄
Love the casual ness of this playthrough! You earned a new subscriber!
Awww thank you so much! That means the world to me 😊
Love the calming pace. Keep up the great work
I appreciate it! Glad you enjoyed
Love the series so far! I've recently been struggling with perfectionism in my worlds and I've found your videos to be very inspirational. Keep up the great content!
Awww thank you so much! Very relatable lol. I'm glad you've been able to find some inspiration with these videos ❤
You deserve to be wayyy bigger! Amazing content, keep up all the good work! :D
❤ I appreciate it!
Such a cool and relaxing video! Love the build!
Thank you so much! 😊
I've never Seen video like yours before, it's so relaxing, doing everything with a stone pick axe (the terraforming/digging)!must have been very paintfull
😂 lol its not too bad when you zone out and listen to a podcast at the same time! Thanks for watching!!
Damn what a great episode. It's really chill and i feel like you're playing the game how it's meant to be played. Also some creepy storytelling going on.
Thanks for watching! I'm glad you liked it :D
this series is going on the best way it could go, I'm really enjoying watching this simple world evolve
I appreciate your support on all of the videos! It means the world to me ❤

This is so relaxing! I love minecraft gameplays like this!
Thank you!!! 😊
stuff like that is what the create mod is for.
moving crane, ore elevator, just the bare minimum to keep the vanilla feel
Such a nice voice you have, and the soothing gameplay, good luck with the rest of your journey in that Minecraft world
Aww thanks! I appreciate it :D
This is really nice.
I never watched a video of you before and it is so nice to not watch the eight over the top build.
It's all just so... normal and calm.
This is for me what Minecraft should feel like :)
Hahaha thank you, sir! That made my day, I appreciate your support ❤
Discovered the channel through this video.
This series is amazing!
❤ Thank you so much!!
Man, i just finished watching it all the eps and like 3 years ago i almost got in the trap that you did with your hardcore world lol, i only didn't because the world only las half/1 year lmao. But i noticed that wenever i built with nk planning i gotway happier lol
Anyway i love the series and you even gave me some ideas (with this epsode especially)
Anyway keep up the great work
Thank you! Yea I know exactly what you mean about being way happier when you build without planning! Theres definitely a better sense of satisfaction and accomplishment when you build on the fly like that. I appreciate you for watching and sharing your experience with building too 😊
1. love that you built a huge and stunning house while still primarily using stone tools, the correct priorities
2. the rickety and almost untrustworthy old rollercoaster vibe is really amazing, the ride itself and the way its placed in the environment is amazing
3. im an easy mode player becuase of paranoia and being a wimp, but you make playing in hard mode look so much less stressful than i find it, i really enjoy your energy and your builds, the cinematic shots really add to the experience :)
ps. love the attic enderman friend
Hahaha thank you! Of course, a beautiful home is top priority 😂
Nothing wrong with playing on easy mode, I used to be an easy mode gamer too! 😊
I appreciate the kind words, thank you so much ❤
i love the vibes and the content! keep it up
Ur camera angles are suuuuper underrated man. Keep going and I’m sure you’ll get bigger and bigger
Ayyy thanks! I appreciate that 😊
awesome vid! very chill
So far, I've recognised some soundtracks from Genshin Impact and Stardew Valley being used in this series. Excellent choices, and the overall quality of your production is remarkable~ Keep it up!
Good ear! I find most Genshin and Stardew songs pair really well with the vibe of Minecraft. I'm glad you liked the video! Thanks for watching 😊
Thanks for the feedback and suggestions, Henry! That means a lot, I'm really glad you liked the video! Thanks for your support ❤
8:44 that’s so cool 😄
I found another Minecrafter I love! Thanks for coming to my recommended channel 🤩
Aww thank you! Thanks for clicking on my video and giving it a chance! 😄
@@Etat It’s a warm to the heart! 💓 Definitely my pleasure
Really wholesome gameplay without all the shouting and fancy music, love it. You deserve way more subs.
Aww thank you! I appreciate it!
I recommend adding a trim around the copper roof of your house, right now it looks a bit like the roof is just plopped onto the house, and a trim would make it fit in more. Deepslate bricks could look nice
Good point! I'll have to mess around with that idea, I appreciate the feedback 😊
Thank you!
You're voice is so calm ... I love it!!
Thank you so much! 😄
Ayy thank you! I really appreciate that
I love your voice and the builds! Absolutely beautiful quarry
Omg love this, please continue posting content! I would love to see you tackle raiding the warden ancient city!!🤍🙏
Thank you! I'm definitely gonna take on the ancient city at some point! Gotta get slightly better gear and then I'm going searching for that silence armor trim! Thanks for the support 😊
TH-cam recs, you've done well. This is peak content.
Ayyyy I appreciate it
This video is perfect to watch, very simple but yet enjoyable and well edited.
Thank you, Miss Ren! I'm glad you enjoyed it 😀
I always love a good mine and quarry. It really adds to a world. And your's looks great! 👍
Thank you! Gotta have that special place to strip mine for diamonds 🤑. Appreciate the support!!!
your feelings are irrational
You are so chill! I literally don't think I could dial it back l, you have a gift sir. Beautiful builds as well. I'm here for it
Lol thank you! That means a lot, you're too kind ❤
This was so cool and calming to watch, youre gonna blow up
Aww thank you, I'm glad you liked it! ❤
I really like the efforts put into the editing!!! and the build is very cool
Thank you so much! I appreciate it, I'm glad you like it 😄
I’m loving this series, I’m glad TH-cam recommended this! Subscribed!
Appreciate it!
Ohhh true true, hanging signs would look so good as railings! Thanks for the suggestion 😄
Nice video! I love the pacing and the editing
Thank you, Cody! I'm happy you enjoyed it 😁
This is some golden content right here !
Ayyy thanks! That means a lot ❤
Feels like Bob Ross meets gaming TH-cam. Thats some really well thought editing bro. Love It.
Thank you, Lorenzzo! That means a lot, brotha! I'm glad you enjoyed it ❤
