- Minecraft Let's Play's are everywhere, and yet they all feel the same. I'm reinventing survival Minecraft with this 1.21 let's play world because they have been stagnant and overdone for far too long.
Welcome to episode 1 of Ash's Survival World where we explore Minecraft's new 1.21 Tricky Trials Update by conquering a trial chamber, befriending a loyal companion, exploring the world, and building up the perfect starter house! In all seriousness, I've grown tired of seeing the same Minecraft video being regurgitated everywhere. It's no wonder people think this game is all of a sudden boring, even though it's everything except boring. It's time something changed!

3: I like how this video was an accurate representation of your first day or 2 in a new Minecraft world. It doesn’t set expectations for what survival should be too high, causing people to expect something unattainable and be disappointed.

Axiom so carried haha. Glad you love the editing! This video was so much fun for me to edit. I tried something different, something people don’t expect and I think it could’ve made people really not like it, but I’m glad it paid off.
As the series progresses, since I’m a full time creator/freelancer I’m sure it’ll start to get “unattainable” but my goal is always to keep the content as raw and real as possible

Yeah! I want to take my time in this world for sure and tell stories while creating awesome builds. Mainstream Minecraft content has really shifted, and it’s time for it to shift to more content that takes its time

When I play survival and die 18 times in the first few days, I just thought that I was bad at the game, given that all the hardcore youtubers get diamonds in an afternoon. But this series is a nice breath of fresh air.
No world is perfect, and honestly if things go worse in the beginning I think it makes stuff more interesting
Its very refreshing to watch someone who finds themselves building small a lot and needs the challenge to build larger. I've experienced that ever since I began playing. I have a tendency to design survival interiors then build around them so they are rarely large. It seems like the opposite of what everyone tends to do. I feel like I'm off in left field. ><

One of, if not my favorite series so far, and it's only one episode! It's refreshing to see a messier type of video that isn't perfect in every single aspect, it adds so much character and fun. Imperfection leads to a much more interesting story. I mean, when was the last time you watched a movie where everything goes right? It’s never interesting if things go exactly to plan. This is something I think a lot of Minecraft TH-camrs miss and I hope to bring back

Modern Minecraft music really captures the essence of Minecraft, it's super impressive considering they are all new artists (to Minecraft's sound, not to music haha).

Really Good Editing, The Story is very good. The Music is also amazing, Lots of Ups and Downs in this one episode and your goal is to build not too big or too small. All the survival videos are grinding materials for their projects which is cool at the end but the process it takes for it makes it boring.
I agree! Material gathering is often important and takes up a considerable amount of time, but I agree it's overdone and in my opinion, it's more entertaining to see how someone failed, then succeeded
@@AshsDen Thanks for responding. Ash, I am interested in a industrial series with Create Mod & Many more Mods like Nuclear Craft, Pam's Harvestcraft, Applied Energetics etc. Or Just a Farming Series where you gather every crop and grow and create tons of foods.
