  • This hypnosis and guided meditation for making decisions and resolving conflict utilizes one of the many therapy styles in hypnotherapy: parts therapy. This allows you to identify and understand, then facilitate a discussion between the multiple points of view - or parts - you may have. You may come to a final decision or just the next step, either way, you should make progress and have a better understanding of your own mindset.

    if you find that you need more time OR identify parts but are not clear on their attachment, observe the following:
    - feeling or emotion related to part (you may even hear them speak with a certain emotion)
    - sound of the voice (female / male) and age
    - where does this part originate from (parent, time of life, key life event, core value or belief you developed at a point in time)?
    - does this voice say anything that reminds you of someone else (this may suggest this part is an embedded belief from others e.g. parents / sibling / partner)
    - what goes away if this part does not exist?
    - what is lost if they do not get their way? (outcome, value, belief, relationship etc.)
    - what is gained if they get their way?
    - does it resonate as authentically you? or feel imposed?

    If you need more time to process the parts that come up, I have a guide you can review in the video description. Simply take note of what you do notice of any and every part that comes up and review the list of questions in the description afterwards (not before, as then the conscious mind will interfere before you've gone through this hypnotherapy session and it may suppress parts).     This is what I envisioned:
    1.- A black figure that was mysterious, scary and intimidating, he represented obligation and duty, but also uncertainty, and his intention was to take me to a place where I didn't want to go
    2.- Another figure which had the same form but different color, almost transparent, he seemed more trustworthy, appealing and comforting, but when he started to speak, I didn't agree with what he was saying, and I wondered if this figure was offering me a false sense of security
    3.- Another clear figure came out of the door, but he only looked at the other two, shrugged and went back inside again, as if telling me "there's no option other than these 2, sorry"
    4.- One last figure appeared in the end, but this time in the form of an animal, it was a colorful bird, and this was the part that had me in tears, because I asked the bird who he was and he told me "I'm your friend, I love you, you're important and everything will be OK, I'll take care of you no matter what"
    When the moment of reaching a decision came, I didn't want to go with any of the figures, the only thing I wanted was to keep my bird friend, and the other 2 figures understood and left
    What all of this meant to me is that I'm not ready to make this decision, until I find a way to love myself and feel safe again, that's why I wanted so bad to stay with my bird friend, he promised me he would look after me and love me no matter what
    I'm sorry if this sounds weird, I'm going through something difficult right now

    I honestly didn't know how well this would work for me, considering I'm so indecisive lol. I was able to create mental pictures in my head and really lean towards one option over the other. This video is amazing and I'm so glad I picked it. Helped a ton and I was able to choose the better option so I'm extremely grateful. Im not confused anymore hahah. I also didn't even know I had fallen asleep, until I woke up lol. very peaceful, 10/10 for me!!

    I had quite clear insights on the topics of my choices. However, i AM still unclear, i Will listen to this more nights as the deadline i gave myself is until the end of this week. However, it was really great to have all these insights💚☀️gratitude🍀

    I feel a situation is repeating in my life. As i move i get worse noisy environments. I feel like people are trying to make me phisically or mentally ill.
    I AM from buenos aires, Argentina
    I want to have healthy relationships and live in a healthy armonious space.
    I do not know what is the mistake i AM doing
    Generally speaking, i want to know for sure that i can not do anything to help before i leave. But then usually is too late, when i leave i AM already exausted and out of hope for what is next.

      That absolutely shouldn't happen and I'm sorry it did. It can be if there is a slow internet connection and it buffers so TH-cam does a "restart" and will play an ad, reading that you are starting to listen to this again.     What a great video and a powerful message 😏 I have a few suggestions... when you get a chance , can you also talk about Overcoming Hate , depression , fear , anxiety and also have Hope , forgiveness , kindness and love. These are some of the most important topics for mediation that the world needs right now 😒 I hope this was useful...

      Hi Ben. I've touched on a few of these. If you go to the home page of the channel th-cam.com/users/unlockyourlifetoday you'll find these in playlists. Fear - try my "Make Fear Your Friend'. Anxiety - I have a whole playlist on anxiety and panic attacks (again you can find this on the channel home page). Also scroll through my series of Meditations on Challenging Emotions where I have a session on Regret and Forgiveness of Self. Hate is a broad topic and I would suggest that what is needed is compassion; impossible to hate if we are compassionate. So look out for a session called "Just Like Me" coming up in the next few weeks. You can actually do this one with another person, or just imagine another person and go through the session. Depression I tackle in my Spiritual and Emotional Healing Hypnosis and in my Chakra Healing and Balancing Meditation and Affirmations. And if you don't like the idea of chakras or it does not resonate for you, can I suggest you suspend judgement and just try it out as I always write in a way that it can fit with any belief system. Hope: try my Morning Gratitude Affirmations. Also listen to my Evening Gratitude Affirmations which for me touches on connection / compassion/ kindness as well as the evanescence of life. Whew!     Hi, I find parts therapy to be extremely helpful as I know truly I have conflicting beliefs that Interfere with my progression towards certain goals. And thank you so much for this video and for posting the article in the comments about parts therapy. And also for posting the script. However, my concern is that as I do not have enough time to process the questions, I worry that I wake from the subconscious state. How do I know that I am in my subconscious or concious state? And if I do wake from the subconscious state, how do I manually get back or deepen it? Thanks in advance! 🙏

    I ve got disturbed after approx 15min when coming to parts and I drifted away for a bit...In that state of relaxation my mind couldn t understand what parts you were speaking about...and just stopped the video. Kind of weird, I should read the description in advance.

    Hi! I tried to follow this hypnosis but I kinda fell asleep in between you talking but trying to "wake up" and keep following . I kind of had dreams. I am not sure what do you mean by "parts". I am kind of new to this. Trying to find my passion/mission in life. Thanks!

    Clairvoyantly had a woman come up to me way before the part where u said there would be someone coming, and when her face came into view her eye color was red & lit up & I of course jumped back (while in bed) and lightly screamed. Her hair was braided on the sides. (Small ones) I dunno who that was at all.

    I sat through the video in the hope it helps me but I didn't get a light bulb moment as I had expected. I'm torn. i relocated to a different country to build a house and have a garden. also I thought that i maybe able to make real friendshsips. It was my life long dream and I did it! But the financial and emotional costs were high, too high and now i only partly enjoy the house because i don't like the people in the newplace. They're conservative, materialistic and judgmental, whereas, i am more open and trusting. So I'm lonely here and lonely back home. Selling and moving back is tough and staying is unfulfilling. What shall I do?

      No-one can make the decision except you. It sounds as if you are not really listening to any part of you except thought, and ignoring your emotions though. Just because something is hard it does not mean it is not worth it. We cannot theorize our lives and assume every decision we make will turn out how we thought. You are getting useful feedback from life experience now, and it is up to you how you use it. There are no failures, only feedback, if we use that feedback to build a clearer picture of the life we want then go make that picture a reality. I say this with compassion, as we have all found ourselves in situations that were not as we expected, and there was no way to know that beforehand. Changing career to hypnotherapy from a safe and better paying corporate career was tough, and still is. I work 3 jobs now including this one but I love my work, I find it fulfilling and I feel it taps into my innate abilities. It is still tough, 4 years on and there were many, too many difficulties, along that path. I also moved to a different town to a more affordable place, changed just about every aspect of my life. So new job, new town, financial difficulty, and even more difficulties....My point is that our dreams will oftentimes be challenging and not just one time, but over and over and over; this does not mean they are not worth the hard work to make them happen.

      So I would suggest listening again but allowing in all of you to be present: logic / brain, feelings / body, intuition / gut. And also run through future scenarios as you consider what each decision would be like. You're not allowing yourself to consider other options either. Are these the only two options?

      I will listen again for sure. thank you. It's very complicated as I have children who depend on me. I think the sheer scale of my responsibilities is clouding my ability to foresee. Am going to be able to survive, will i get a job to fits my kids school times?? i have tens of these questions in my head 24hrs a day.

      Break it down, one question at a time. What's the first and biggest question for you, that, once answered, you can then go on to other questions. Also, your wellbeing is a factor too. Open communication with your children about what is happening now and their input into the future may also help. In no way am I saying you should move or that your decisions are easy. But I get the sense that you are keeping a lot to yourself. Children will embrace change if they have a sense that they have some say in the change. Before you decide on moving, are you clear on what are the qualities of the place where you and your children would thrive? I ask this because I compiled a list of qualities or characteristics for my own move. Clarify first. Then if work is the key (as it is for most of us) then research the areas that match your shortlist for work. And other things too such as schools for the kids, safety / crime, affordability and so on. But I can't tell you what is important for you. Only you can do that. Best wishes, Sarah
