Human tendency to never look up. Seriously, it is actually an issue with human nature - we simply don't expect someone/something to be right above us unless we know they are there. It is why short range drones work so well - unless someone hears the machinery they simply won't notice it...
this is why I always remember to look up, until I forget lol
Shibuya Hal's reaction was pure gold, I'm so glad this team exists and continues leave such a wild impression on Hal, so we can see hopefully more EN teams in the future.

The funny thing is only Sumire noticed it out of all the players on the field, and she barely reacted on comms even as she called them being directly above her two teammates. I'm not sure Chihiro or Laplus know about it even now and the Uruha Star team being shot certainly didn't know they never looked up. Nerves of steel on that Sumire and blissful ignorance for everyone else (except the spectators lol)

That is 100% what gave them the advantage - Axel was the distraction that let Snail and Ragus sneak in.
I wish Axel had been more insistent on them freezing as well.. you could see from La+ PoV how much they blended into the background.

Axel seperating and failing to land on the pole actually played an important role on this play. Reason being is 1. He took the team near the poles attention towards himself making them fail to notice selen and altaire being in the other pole. 2. Sumire's team automatically locked on to them but their attention was diverted to axel san making them also failing to not notice selen landing on the pole.
Best of all it made sumire's team think that their team got eliminated. This play wouldnt have been possible if axel went with selen and altaire's pole
And if Axel actually landed on his pole they would have been aware of it and might have looked at other poles for his teammates.
It's so stupid, it actually worked lmao.
They never got noticed until the last minute, and ShibuHal's reaction was gold.

I keep watching this from different perspectives, Shibuya's chat lit up with confusion and laughs when it came up. My favorite part is even after they killed Uruha and were shooting Met, Met and Uruha team had no idea where they were being shot from. Met could see Selen and the tracers on screen but kept looking towards Laplus position. At least 4 of the remaining players including two being shot and two directly below them were still unaware of them, only Sumire from a wide angle behind noticed and dropped them before they could react.

@@corruptpixel8441 Yeah I noticed that too. He forgets that Selen should be doing the fight calls since they assigned her as the fight IGL especially in end games. But hey they got a champion in tonights scrim because of Selen callouts stopping Axel to do risky plays at that last moments. and got 2nd place overall if it was the real tourney. So, better than day 1 scrims rank of 13th-14th.
@@corruptpixel8441 they are not pros and are not supposed to play as pros. They have a coach, leave the criticism to him and don't spread negativity. Axel is doing pretty fine with that ping diff and lack of experience

Serious comment for a second... but I genuinely think that they can get 2nd. Champion is a bit hard with 3 v 2 and La+ team have covered the ground with fences, but with 4 teams constantly on edge monitoring everyone else on the ground, no one would've had the leeway to look up at the pole. If they waited a bit more they would've even be able to get more kills during that last chaos
