Hal actually called Altare "Player Regis" and other players with the title "Player" which is a more formal way to refer to the players. I just simplified it for clarity.

*長物 directly means "long thing", looked up online it means sniping weapons in Japanese FPS games.

With the rate Altare is improving and getting used to Apex he's going to end up as their shield farmer-entry fragger-goaltender-shotcaller-support-center forward-secondary fragger-jungler. 🐍T🐍S🐍B🐍

@@Chopchopok nah. If he never plays ranked, then he'll be just 3 points. Like Kuzuha is literally the champion of the last Vsaikyou and how crack he is had been proven in the tournament but because he never plays ranks so he's only Diamond 4 which mean he is 7 points lol. True can also be said for Towa and many other participants.
@@Chopchopok mainly just lack of indepth apex knowledge, hes already good at other fps games so the aim transfers. But also every team in the tournament is a point scam (in a positive way) so unless shibuya individually evaluates all participants like how he does for masters+ for points, hes prob going to stay a 3 pointer

I wouldn't even match them up like that. Axel is more like the mad dingo for this team and Selen being the cooler, especially during hectic fights when Axel is seeing red and hands are shaking (can even see the panic fences in this clip, but man went in with no armor and came out barely alive with 4 critical knocks). Altare...is simply a league on his own. Suisei is a good shot sure, but Altare is just downright horrendous. Even his strafing during 1v1s with Noct is way above average, as if he's used to even Unreal Engine at some point. I don't even know any other 3pt that would match his skill level. Could probably be around 6 or 7 at his current state and easily climbing to 8 as he's learning from the scrims. I'd say they're even stronger than StartEnd over all, even without the ridiculous mad dog that is Aqua. I'm definitely rooting for TSB here though, I don't think I was this excited in vSaikyou in a while.
if you have to compare them with StartEnd, Axel is much more comparable with Aqua
Axel is the one that's being reigned back in (is that why he's playing Wattson?) by Selen and and sometimes Altare

Axel has some really interesting rotations
Selen is actually a former predator ranker (and is not a loner)
Altare is supposedly really good at FPS games (only new to Apex - might remind you of that one NeoPorte team from last VSaikyo)
and they have an on-stream coach!

Axel want to be like Aqua but doesn't have the skill yet, he got interesting IGL tho sometimes.
Selen pulls the string together, way better than when she teamed up with menhera bobon.
Altare is way above suisei for a 3 pt. Heck I don't ever heard Suisei being good in Apex rather that she follows instructions well, average aim and average damage for sure.
@@nemofphillius Altare also knows how to tap strafe and even applied a Ras strafe mid fight ( Saw it when Altare vs Noc 1v1). He's by far the most surprising 3 point monster in VSaikyo.
As for Selen her Ex-pred experience kept the team alive especially in hectic fights and I'm glad they made her the fighting IGL. She's also their best CQC player that can clutch.
Axel is a really good IGL that the pro coaches always mentioned how good his zone reading is and finding advantageous spots. He maybe too aggressive but when he's calm and collected they find god spots in the end zone.

Can someone explain me why he's 3 point boy?
His highest rank in apex is plat4 that's why he's 3pts
There's a point buy for players in the tourney based on their rank and skill in Apex, so that all teams are more or less balanced. Altare was a mid-tier ranked player so he only cost the team 3 points, (Selen as a former high-ranker was worth 10 for comparison), but has made some plays that are way better than that.
VSaikyo uses the point system where each member is worth a certain amount of points based on the highest rank ever achieved since (I think) season 3 (min 3, plat 4) and teams can have a maximum number of points.
Altare rarely plays Apex, so he's barely ranked so he's worth the minimum point of 3,the equivalent of plat 4. However, he is a very experienced FPS player who even got scouted from am OW pro team (though he never joined). Basic FPS skill transfers over, and Altare being a former Hanzo main means he's already used to having to lead shots and adjust to gravity for snipers in Apex.
A point scam is someone who is way better than their point value / highest rank would indicate.
This isn't a deliberate scam from players, it's just that rank Apex is very time consuming, stressful and toxic that many stop playing rank before they hit their true rank tier.

Well, he is given 3 points, because he actually new to apex,
But I think he is very familiar with fps game ...
Altare was a fair 3pter at first. He knew few about apex and wasn’t able to report the situation properly when it was needed. But he practiced A LOT in these few weeks and he grew up really fast.
His insane fps skill is based on his solid experience from other shooting games like OW, COD and Valo.
ShibuHal, at this rate, is just low-key Torres Silva in getting the Vtubers lineup.
