- Red Dead Redemption 3 Huge Leaks... Fans are talking about Red Dead Redemption 3 rumors, and they're all very exciting. According to some leaks, it's another prequel that takes place during the colorful peak of the wild west rather than in later years and explores the origins of the Van der Linde gang. However, there's also a focus on advancing the well-known Red Dead Redemption 2 characters, like Sadie Adler. Some players are in favor of a Red Dead Redemption 3 that centers around Jack Marston. We need a story where we play between 1865 - 1899. The real west.
And they should put Flaco, Belle, Granger, Midnight and all other gunslingers from cards into more main story missions and make them important. And you play as Rickets or Jim Boy Calloway.
Would be neat to play a character during the civil war but not be completely about the war.

That's kinda disregarding the entire point of the red dead redemption series it's about the death of the West not it's prime age

I want this too, however it would be pretty hard to make a free roam epilogue that makes sense… the blackwater massacre would almost need to be a dlc “episode” for rdr2 as much as I’d like it to be in rdr3.

Well, according to rdr1 and 2, rdr3 should be the creation of the Van der Linde Gang, and would probably end with blackwater. In rdr2 we hear stories about a junger Arthur and John, and stories about gang members that didn’t make it after blackwater(which could be one of the characters we are gonna play). Also there was this one year in which John left the gang, which could be a chapter in rdr3 to play through. It makes sense…and after listening to so many stories from Arthur’s and John’s past and the mentions about blackwater and so on…that’s what I would like to play in rdr3 for sure.
A third game knowing the fate of all the characters would be lame
There’s one problem if the game ends with the blackwater the free roam would not be included after the main story
Ending in Blackwater makes no sense because how would post-game free roam work? There’d be no epilogue because Blackwater is WAY too close to the events of chapter 1 of RDR2. We have enough information about Blackwater to infer what happened. I feel like it’s better left to the player’s interpretation. I don’t understand why this idea is so popular.

@@SoapySoap0pera that would be stupid, All of rdr is focused upon the Van Der Linde gang, with the exception of Red Dead Revolver, but that exact story isnt even canon in rdr's universe
@@keecko8169 Here the are the things that in my eyes would make the most sense for the next game: 1. Focusing on a brand new gang. 2. Following the story of the Callander boys who died at beginning of rdr2

most of the information ain't reliable, a rdr1 remake, when it was just a port. We can't rely on rdr fans to make stories either, I agree with Roger Clark, arthur's story has been told, no need for another prequel.
Rob withoff agrees it should be a prequel why would we go further in time we can't do jack story because that would be set in the 1940s we have no choice but to do another prequel following dutch or the earlier days of the gang and showing the blackwater masscurare and if that's the case we can also do Mac callnder as the protagonist or Davey or Jenny three characters that should have been shown but they are only mentioned I wouldn't like another sequel

I still think rdr3 should follow a young and inexperienced Dutch as we follow through his mistakes while forming the gang and get to mature with Dutch as he becomes an infamous gunslinger

With it being number "3" I thought it'd be cool to have the game focus on the old guard, the original 3. Dutch, Hosea, and Arthur.
you do realize both games are about John Marston right?? also John is apart of the "old guard"
@@ant_178 Depends how far you were to go back with characters and story. Dutch and Hosea found Arthur and brought him into the gang around 16 years old. It was a long time after this they people like Marston come to light.
I know this sounds stupid, but I feel like the game doesn't really need another prequel. All it would take is something like a Blackwater Massacre DLC, where you actually get to see what happens, and see what leads us to chapter one of RDR2. That way, there's no issue with anything after the story, as it's just a DLC. It could be like a Chapter 0.
Plot twist .... instead of the blackwater dlc it will be a stand alone prequel on playstation 6 and xbox whatever....
This way you would get better graphics and more details .... same reason why gta 6 will not be on ps4 or xbone .... these gaming consoles had their time and it's time to move on.
Now GTA6 and RDR2 can get compared in graphics and such and be equal

It would be cool to be leader of a gang and to make plans before robberies. Like in GTA 5. And depending on which decision you choose, different cutscene appears and different outcomes. For example you can lose someone that mission if you choose option B.

I'm thinking the next RDR content coming next is probably a movie. Since it took Rockstar 12 years to release the following GTA, it seems we'll wait a long ass time to see any real new content in RDR.
They were not working only on gta 6 for these 12 years , the reason it took so long is because they are working on multiple projects

I would like a base where you can build stuff, like stables for horses, a main hall, etc so we can really invest our money into something. And ofc, a good story. A good story is always important to get immersed in a game.

OK I have inside information on what RDR 3 IS going to BE ! I am not allowed to spell it all out, but think Dances with wolves... It involves a white character joining and fighting alongside a Native American Indian tribe. That's about all I can say but it will be epic...
Id like to see them depart from a "gang" but to a bounty hunter/ mountain man or rogue Pinkerton/ Wyatt Earp type. No one thought theyd like Arthur over John, a d i think hes turned out to be more beloved. So it wouldn’t be out of the realm for RDR3 to be a completely new story and characters.

Here’s an idea. Have the main character riding towards the screen. It’s dark and you (the player) see the horse stumble and fall. The character moves forward and it’s a player created character. Then have the character surrounded by three men with four horses and forced to break their boss out of jail. That would make you an outlaw and the story can unfold.
Would love to see RDR3, so many different directions to go in what it will be about. I just would love to have more of the story back fore Blackwater so I can find out what happened there.
Would like to see something like the Yellowstone prequels in a game. Stuff including early Tesla tech, and ranching…. Player housing like johns homestead in post game from RDR2. Deputizing, bounty hunting, hunting of course, and cattle wrangling. Say 1880-1900 timeframe.with the 1900 turn of the millennium being the post part of the game from the main story ends as they had in RDR2.
If rdr3 comes out it might take place of how the group was made and how the members came to the van Der linde gang and the story of the people
They could do the beginnings of the gang, start when Dutch took in Arthur, then jump in time a little bit. They could do what TLOU2 did and we could play with few different characters, dutch, Arthur, John. And the game could end after Blackwater.
I would like more something new though, where it still fits into the story and somehow connects, but creates a new adventure.
Would love a part of it to be a mission where you have to take out a number of armed guards before you eventually get to take an air accordeon playing politician to a penal facility. They already have a decent NPC for the part. The dude at the Pig Farm is close enough. He is also into “family affairs”.
I think it would be cool if it was set in the Australian bush range around the times where gangs like Ned Kelly were around

How sick would it be to play as a lawman in the time of when the van der linde gang began and we have to deal with them and the law being corrupt etc. You would see the gang in another perspective. They kinda did that with L.A. noir. And it should end at blackwater.

would be fun if the game could live on after the main story, like Fallout 4 where you can build and develope settlements etc... maybe something like that would be nice, then you could go all in with say hunting, fishing and then trading on another level to get upgrades for your settlement.. or something like that

Have it involve the brutal side of the law, where his comrades are just as brutal as the outlaws they hunt, showing off the two sides of the spectrum off how brutal some of these law men can be

They could easily do a prequel so we can understand his path much better and there is so much to tell. His story is not all told. Like it could end in Blackwater so we could see how that actually went down.

It needs to takes place at the end of the civil war, the soldiers traveling west to search for gold to become the gangs of the Wild West. That way they don't need to mess with the threads they have in place with 1@2. And starting the game with a civil war battle would be awesome. Also rivals from the war that have beef with you cause of your unit. It's a great time period for a game like RDR.

RDR3 should be about Mac calendar. At the beginning he can be someone most people don’t like because that’s how they kind of made it seem in the game but over the game he become a better person.( his redemption ) When he gets caught by the Pinkertons he can try to make an escape and kill some Pinkerton but in the end he gets shot and killed. After that you can play as John or Arthur or another gang member. Make rockstar hear this!!!!

Jack Marston should be our new hero being the son of John Marston and Abigail Roberts who died in RD1 ..Arthur Morgan,who's the greatest game hero of all times his story ended in RD2 in it's prequel..
I love follow ups or stories that blends into the other and I believe with good writing Rockstar can make another epic master piece..
RD2 at the end still left us with some favorable characthers in Charles the biracial afro- native american member who was always morally conscious,fight always for what is right and down to earth plus he help John Marston build his house and then left supposedly for Canada to create his own family...I would like to see him again in RD3 either has a mentor to Jack or a son of Charles who eventually meets Jack at some point in the game for missions...Another one I really would like to see again is Sadie, she a hardcore favorite of many that played this game, story is she left for south america but she should ride again back into the story of RD3 her also either as a mentor through out the game on certain missions...
Mary-Beth was cute and so was Tilly really cool as well but them only has cameo apperances...RD3 If we have good story writting, we can bring in new characthers and villains...Who knows Maybe Dutch or Micah did fathered bastard children, it wasn't all that uncommon in those days too so anything is possible..

It’s already been more than 5 years RDR2 came out, since 2023 October it became five. It has almost been 6 years since RDR2
I just can’t fathom rdr3 cause there was more of a conclusion in the very first game when you look at it in terms of time; what’s worth happening now when Jack already fulfilled his revenge upon the demise of Edgar Ross?

RDR3 will release in 12-13yrs, at least and that is not an exaggeration.

I would like to see early years and recruitment of the gang. Using the same switch character as GTA 5. Switching between young dutch,Arthur, Javier Hosea etc.. also while should have the calendar bros as the main protagonist since the games always end with the death of the main character. It could be perfect to have it end in blackwater right before rdr2 begins.
I want RDR3 to just be a ranching, hunting, and fishing simulator, but with all the RDR2 game mechanics.
