17 minutes of hui appreciation. we love to see it.
Literally every time I hear Hui’s voice I go “I hate you” because he’s so damn good,,,his technique,,his falsetto,,,I wish I could sing half as good as him, and I’m technically a soprano.
Hui is honestly an ace. Its crazy how he literally excel at everything. And not just that, he experiment further just to reach a new high. Something that only a TRUE artist do.

Hui’s voice is literally a bear.
One moment it’s wraps around you like a bear hug and the next moment you are taken aback by its ferocity.
YASSSS FINALLY NO MORE WAITING. Honestly this song is a complete anthem. For everyone. It sums up Pentagon's story but I also have seen some other artists commenting how this song inspires them, cause when you create art not everything will appeal to broad public and that can be frustrating when you try to live off as an artist. There's also people not taking you seriously. But Pentagon says "you know what, screw this, we will create things how we want it and make our own "crowns" in the industry".

I thought the discussion about the music video being too distracting to understand the music for some, vs being helpful to understand the music to others, was really interesting. It just goes to show how people process multiple senses at once differently. I personally really liked having the mv/choreo with the music because I thought it helped me understand the angst and seriousness of the song. I listened to it for the first time without the visuals, and to me it sounded a little stereotypical superhero, "we're gonna take over the world" way. I'd be interested to know how others saw it! (Also to answer Owen who said that Hui's expressions were really good in that one section before the climax, Hui is a musical theater actor so it makes sense!)

this was such a *MASTERPIECE* from PENTAGON. I even thought they would win on the finale episode with this song, they even got a STANDING OVATION from the other boygroups in the competition. everyone in the studio was so amazed by the song and performance and you can obviously see the hosts reaction that they loved it too. sadly, the audience decides who wins in that show though they actually ranked 3rd place. correct me if i'm wrong. still their best song for me!

i was so surprised to hear anyone lost focus of the song, after the rtk finale it was the only song i remembered clearly and stayed stuck in my head :o the performance really was seamless with it but i guess i'm used to approaching either from emotion mostly so i forget the separate intellectual brain requires extra focus ''xD i know i was trying to use that perspective while onf was on and all i got was ''hmm that was weird but good weird'' which baffles me considering to me that song makes way more intuitive sense than the oneus song and yet i forgot that one in seconds since the visuals were similarly absorbing i guess 0_0 it doesnt need to be said but it deserves to be affirmed at every given opportunity: hui is a genius.

Pentagon is amazing. I really hope they do well. The members compose and write their own songs and create choreography, and the quality is surprisingly good every time.
I stan a lot of kpop groups and I pride myself to be a good judge of groups with great vocals and production so best believe I stan the best groups. I felt so emotional watching this. I’ve been stanning pentagon for a while now and have felt so sad cause they have been so underrated for their music and creativity. Hearing and watching the expressions and thoughts of these individuals appreciating their hard work really makes me feel thankful. Thank you. As a Universe, I’m very happy to see them be more recognized. They are diamonds that are constantly being looked over upon.
"Euphany of beautiful tension" is such a good way of putting it. I felt mysel beating my chest during the rap, holding my breath during the softer parts, feeling weirdly optimistic during the parts when it turns to major(?), then wanting to scream my heart out with Hui in the bridge and last chorus. UGHHH so good. Also wanted to give major props to Wooseok for the rap parts cos to me his rap verse after the chorus really kept the energy of the huge chorus while changing direction which felt so amazing to hear!
Pentagon is such a underestimated group and I really don't know why because they are awsome, they write and produce their own stuff, and theyre also the funiest guys ever. There is nothing to deslike about them.

The fact they performed this during Kingdom was a good middle finger to Mnet. Saying that they would perform how they would and never compromise just to win the show. In the end, they did not win but still stuck to who they were and that's inspirational. Also Hui sang those high notes LIVE, when he was sick. He could've used just the backtrack or sat it out but he still went through and you would've never known. His talent is something else.
But unrelated, the intro is so long and I love that for them.
I don't know if many people watch videos that are not about their favs and if there are non unis out there but honestly I hope everyone will watch it and realise how talented they are and what a genius hui is

Just... Yeah, musical happiness.
