This is a pretty old video. It nearly only includes Jinho, Hui and Hongseok. I definitely recommend the newer one by @pentagu . Their vocals have developed a great deal over time. Nevertheless. Thank you so much for the pentagon appreciationn. ;)
The "little guy" is Jinho. ;) He debuted in 2010 in SM THE BALLAD together with Kyuhyun (SuJu), Jonghyun (SHINee) and Jay (TraXX), the group he was intended to be in didn't work out so he left the company. He was actually working as a vocal coach when he got scouted and then debuted with pentagon in 2016. He still works as a vocal coach for various idols and trainees in CUBE. Also. He has been releasing monthly covers since their debut on pentagon's channel. There's 40-something at this point, so definitely enough to check out. ;)
I highly recommend checking out their song "The Game". It's a B-side from their most recent album and it is genuinely like nothing I've ever heard in kpop. It shows off the groups musical range very well too.
I remember there is a member joined in SM The Ballad before, and that was him. Thanks, your comment reminds me.

This group is phenomenal. Jinho and Hui in particular are just amazing some of the best male vocalists for sure THAT NOBODY TALKS ABOUT.

Well Jinho was supposed to debut in SM and he's also a vocal coach and has been for a while now!! Pentagon really does have one of if not the strongest Vocal line of all groups.
no joke Pentagon has really amazing talented singers, each one of them has improved so much since debut (and each one of them has a really unique voice) and you're right Jinho and Hui had to be two of the most amazing singers out there. Lastly, the thing I think helped them so much improving was having Jinho (as in sing teacher, not member) with them, because he has A LOT of techniques that he learned with other teachers and even when he was a SM trainee....

Jinho is one of the best vocalists out there. You should definitely check out his covers on his Magazine Ho series. He did one of Bohemian Rhapsody that's brilliant and his Coldplay medley rocks as well!

Jinho debut for the first time in 2010 in sm in the group SM the ballad, then he left the company and joined cube, he is a vocal coach and he trained Gidle, yeoseonho and the trainees from the company
The little guy is Jinho, he has some covers like "When I was your man" "Lay me Down" "Natural" by Imagine Dragons, "Finesse" with Soyeon from G-idle and so much more, please check them out, he is the oldest in Pentagon and recently came back fro the military.

I love seeing you guys freaking out over Jinho's incredible vocals, he is arguably THE MOST underrated vocalist out there! There's a reason why he also teaches the trainees at Cube, he is the standard in the company when it comes to vocal technique! I would love them to get more recognition, they deserve it for sure

The last song is a japanese song by DBSK - why did i fall in love with you. Pentagon was covering their song. Speaking about idol vocalist groups, i would suggest you to check out DBSK and BTOB as well. DBSK was the 1st kpop idol group with legendary vocal performances. You will find 3 vocal legends there, Junsu, Jaejoong, Changmin. You can check out their songs why did i fall in love with you, Bolero, love in the ice.
BTOB is a kpop group with the best overall vocals currently. All members are great singers.

As a Universe, this reaction means a lot. PENTAGON is a group full of versatile members and all of their discographies are totally not a skip.
Vocally they're my number 2 group! I was so surprised and happy when I found them.. I really love their B sides too...I often mix them in my EXO playlist. I really don't get why they're underated.
Ps Jinho use to be a SM artist, he has done Collabs with them. One of SM biggest losses. All vocalists in this group are pretty good Rappers are awesome too! Thank you for reacting for this!

jinho is a vocal coach, after he left sm he worked as vocal coach and then he was offered to be a trainee at cube around 2014. till this day he still teaches vocal for cube's trainees. some of his students have debuted in several groups including (g)i-dle and othe groups outside of cube
just wann say cube entertainment has some of the best of the best kpop vocalist in the kpop industry, jokwon from 2AM (literally vocal-ballad group), the entire BTOB vocal line (people say you dont speak about vocal without mentioning them), sunghee and sorn (former member) from clc, minnie and miyeon from (g)i-dle, nayoung and chowon from lightsum (chowon was probably the best vocalist on produce 48)
not to mention their former artist as well, hell freakin talented, i mean yang yoseob from beast (now highlight) or just the entire grup themselves are freaking good

He releases a cover every month, the series is called MAGAZINE HO. Pentagon have such variety of music, they are a self-produced group, have amazing stage presence. Their latest album INVITE:U is amazing!!! The B-sides are INCREDIBLE. I'll be looking forward to more Pentagon reactions.

This video is quite old and all the members have improved so much over the last couple of years!!
I personally think Jinho is one of the strongest vocalists technically and stylistically in kpop at the moment, which isn't surprising as he entered SM entertainment through a singing competition where he won 1st place and debuted with the original SM the Ballad shortly after. He left SM later and joined Cube as a vocal coach and debuted with Pentagon there. He still teaches the Cube trainees today.
Jinho content you will surely enjoy:
1) his MagazineHo series (over 40 covers! Gethsemane is insane!)
2) his recent appearance on Naver NOW radio (Desperado, A song for you)
3) his One Last Cry cover on Studio Music Hall (again amazing technique!!)
Hui is the second powerhouse of the group. He's also the group's main composer and not just their leader, but also the leader of the trot group Superfive. He's a well respected producer in the industry, who also composes for other groups (WannaOne, Shinhwa, Bvndit, CIX, ...)
His voice is incredibly memorable and powerful and his range is amazing!
Hui content you'll enjoy:
1) his Dalla Dalla cover on Studio Music Hall (he likes changing songs to different genres)
2) his performances on Lotto singer (Masquerade! Mirotic and The Letter)
3) this performance on favorite entertainment: 소름 돋는 극세사 감성 (a beautiful ballad!!)
About Pentagon in general:
they're a 9 member self-composed group (Hui, Wooseok and Kino are the main producers, all the members write lyrics) under Cube Entertainment (company known for their amazing vocalists from groups like BEAST and BTOB).
Apart from their vocal, rapping and producing skills they're also known for their stage presence and goofiness. Btw both Jinho and Hui, as well as Yeo One act in musicals, many of the other members are also actors, models, Kino choreographes some of their dances, ...
They've been through quite a bit, losing a member, having members be on health hiatuses, ... luckily the fandom is growing consistently (even though members are now starting to enlist) and while they're still very much underappreciated by the gp, they're improving and getting recognized more and more each year :) glad you found them too!
I'd really like for you to see more of their recent live vocals, which is why I'd like to recommend all their performances (including covers) on It's Live channel (Daisy, Do or Not, Feelin Like, Poison (solo song from Kino), Call my name (b-side from their recent album), Life goes on (cover by Kino), Lovesick Boys (BP cover), Not Shy (Itzy cover) and Savage (Aespa cover).
For acapella stuff: there's the into the unknown cover you mentioned and on Dingo there are acapella versions of Shine (the clip you saw) and Do or Not (from last year; both main vocalists were missing at the time (military service), so it really showcases how strong all the other members are).
There's also an acoustic version of three of their songs from their WE:TH album (Daisy, Beautiful Goodbye and Nostalgia) and a rock version from kcon of Beautiful Goodbye!
I'm sorry if this is overwhelming! There is just so much great Pentagon content out there and I really want more people to have the opportunity to enjoy their music (their last album for instance was absolutely mind-blowing! The GAME!)!
I and probably all of Universe (our fandom name) would be greatful if you watch at least one of the suggestions above! I promise you won't regret it!

For Jinho in particular, I'd suggest the group's it's live cover - Savage by Aespa, or his Gethsemane cover from the Magazine Ho series. This one does have post production, but there is a live performance fancam from his solo concert. There are other songs from the series also that can showcase his vocal, such as Bohemian Rhapsody, Gorilla, etc. Other than that perhaps Immortal Song: Joy (with Hui), his one last cry cover, and also perhaps might enjoy Hui's high note compilation :))

Since you're reacting for amazing vocals in K-Pop, how about amazing vocal grou? You shouldn't leave this group out! Have I said that they're from SM and created as an acapella group! All of the members can sing!
I dearly love PENTAGON, but TVXQ is the reason why I became a K-Pop fan, they're my first love. And it broke my heart when they split last 2010.

A bit explanation on fandom name. So in 21:34 they're singing the song from their first album titled 'Pentagon'. In that song the lyrics said 21:42 "You are my Universe" And followed by 21:45 "I can be your Pentagon".
