1:44 This explains my initial mixed feeling about this song. I was like this sounds so sad??? and so happy??? at the same time??? I DON'T KNOW WHAT AM I FEELING. (but of course now i can't get enough of this song XD
@@rishaanabila2921 i feel like bittersweet songs are their forte. we have hanbin writing angry and almost vindictive (breakup kind of) songs for ikon while we have hui and wooseok constantly writing these heartbroken happy songs. truly amazing
so basically Daisy isn't JUST a bittersweet song, it's also a catharsis in that by the end of it, all the anger and resentment, the painful, heavy emotions, are gone, and you're left free, albeit empty. You're only left with relief, and a wish for happiness. Light emotions. Niiiice. And to have that expressed so explicitly in musical notes? NIIIIIIIIIIIIIICE!!!!
Totally agree with Henry and Cloud about expecting the modulation, but I feel it could be on purpose, it makes it seem as though they’re stagnant in their emotions like how the lyrics said that ‘i wish for your unhappy ending’ like they’re not moving on from the break up, constantly repeating ‘it’s a lie, it’s a lie’ (I might be reading too much into it, i just enjoyed the amount of angst this provided)
thank you for this. I think it's amazing how hui came up with the theme+base, wooseok helped to complete this masterpiece, and also nathan's touched for the finishing. the whole song is like a rollercoaster ride with my emotion's being pulled and pushed by it. they are genius indeed.
I really love this song. When you hear it the first, you don't get it and just feels like such melancholy from all strong to all soft and sad. But when you read the lyrics, you understand what is going on. The heartbreak made them angry and then as the pain grew, they grew stronger and could accept the truth. And in the end they just console themselves in a way and know anger is not the right thing to do and just tells themselves that's they are happy to love the other person. They want them to be happy in a way that when you say it, it comes back to you and you are actually consoling yourself and telling that to yourself more than the other person.
I became a fan of Pentagon because of Daisy! Seriously, I don’t even understand Korean but this song just blew my mind when I listened to it. It’s so powerful and really pulled my heart and played with my ears. I just watched the MV last night (even though I first started listening to the song a month ago.) I mostly listened to kbands and krnb, but this is my favorite song from a dance group. The first kpop song that I love so much I learned the lyrics haha
2 things that I LOVE about pentagon songs and that they do so well are their harmonies, because the members have such a wide & satisfying vocal range, and the lovely ad-libs everywhere :)
Literally cried the first time I heard and watched this mv.... the lyrics hits in my personal life and I also had sadness for Pentagon and their harsh life as idols... Its so sad yet to beautiful, both the story of the song, their story and my story.
Now we just need a reaction from the people involved in the song if what they're saying was really their intention or they were like "Oh, this just seems cool so I made it this way xD"... I really wonder sometimes.
I do agree that SM vocals are great but people are sometimes sleeping on cube vocals! they have some of the industrys' mindblowing vocalists and producers and rappers and dancers and sports men! If cube manages properly, ig they are improving now, they can reach very high with such a bunch of highly talented artists! I wish cube comes out of debt and starts promoting their current groups including older groups like BtoB(my ult) wisely. Please cube, your artists are too good to just come and go like that! they are always setting new trends in the kpop industry!

Wow thank you for reacting to Daisy right away even tho it's just a month after release. Cube knows who to ask for reactions huh 😆 But wow even tho i streamed Daisy like for a million times already, I wasn't aware that modal mixture was the main aspect of the song itself. That's a beautiful parallel with life and this track. Also I love when you said that you can taste every type of emotion because the poetry at the end of the video compares daisy's petals (colours in every shot too) to our many feelings. omg have absolutely no knowledge about music theory but I loved this CMR especially because im a universe!!!! hui and wooseok (and all of ptg) are rlly genius composers and to have classical musicians break down and analyse the song just goes to show how much thought was put into this song and how much of a masterpiece queen daisy is!!
i think the hui and wooseok (and of course all pf pentagon) wld be rlly happy to see your reactions and to know that super trained ears appreciate their music and the meaning behind it!
thank you so much for this reaction i absolutely enjoyed it both the reactions and the musical analysis aaa and i love daisy so so muchh!!!! STAN PENTAGON STAN REACTTOTHEK
Daisy is a masterpiece
CUBE really be that company advertising Pentagon everywhere.

The most beautiful reaction to pentagon's daisy 😭 finally the real musical appreciation for their song... They super deserving for these words ❤️
This is LITERALLY a class omg I LOVE IT!
Have zero knowledge in music, but listening to these experts is so satisfying.
I really love it when they get up and play the piano discussing chord progressions, harmonies and all that jazz 🤗💕 Pentagon's sailing with this comeback ❤️❤️
I mostly listened to kbands and krnb, but this is my favorite song from a dance group. The first kpop song that I love so much I learned the lyrics haha
Feels like I've just gotten a music class from this reaction alone 🤧
BEST kpop release of 2020 and im not even a uni 😭 this is just SO AMAZING
"sunny song on a rainy right" KEVIN I LOVE YOU
I have no idea how much i’ve rewatched this video
2 things that I LOVE about pentagon songs and that they do so well are their harmonies, because the members have such a wide & satisfying vocal range, and the lovely ad-libs everywhere :)
i cry everytime i hear this song. it's just. pure pain.
Literally almost cried when they noticed yanan's voice + i always cry when listening to daisy too
A notification pops up, I see its Classical Musicians React and I go like oooo and Click I see its PENTAGON drop everything and watch.
펜타곤 정말 좋은 노래 많은데ㅜㅜ 이렇게 영상 찍어주셔서 감사합니다🥺
Literally cried the first time I heard and watched this mv.... the lyrics hits in my personal life and I also had sadness for Pentagon and their harsh life as idols... Its so sad yet to beautiful, both the story of the song, their story and my story.
Now we just need a reaction from the people involved in the song if what they're saying was really their intention or they were like "Oh, this just seems cool so I made it this way xD"... I really wonder sometimes.
Whhat cube asked to react?...congrats y'alls reactions are really good I'm learning alot of things too...i hope pentagon sees this too.
Please cube, your artists are too good to just come and go like that! they are always setting new trends in the kpop industry!
this has to be one of my favourite episodes of CMR!! i love how explained everything was and despite my little musical knowledge everything is very easy to grasp and the past couple seasons i've watched have taught me a lot!! keep up the great work and i can't wait for dazzle dazzle:)
I've just finish watching their 20million views promise, and youtube just recommended this to me.. HAHAHAHA
And the company actually calls you for a reaction request?? Wow, Cube Ent marketing team really did their job..
Where can i watch their 20 million promise video?
Wow thank you for reacting to Daisy right away even tho it's just a month after release. Cube knows who to ask for reactions huh 😆 But wow even tho i streamed Daisy like for a million times already, I wasn't aware that modal mixture was the main aspect of the song itself. And i cant help but be proud of Hui once again for composing such an amazing song which got approval by you guys. And people YES, PLEASE DON'T SLEEP ON PENTAGON'S VOCAL ABILITY! Thank you reactors and Umu 💙
Oh and i can finally understand (not entirely tho) why this song makes me feel the way that i can't fully explain. To all the reactors, thank you so much for the explanation
not even a universe, but I gotta admit, this song is really really beautiful
3:00 YES SIR, PENTAGON VOCAL KINGS
When Ju said MNH MMHN Like she just ate the finest piece of delicacy. I FELT THAT I FELT THAT GIRL
Thank you so much for appreciating and enjoying Daisy! I’m really happy that a lot of people are praising the song and Pentagon so much. They really deserve to be recognized. These are bunch of talented guys and you won’t regret stanning them 😊
I love the little lessons from the piano - they're nearly always my favourite part of these videos! Ju Young explains stuff so well
ptg are ARTISTS they make ART
I loved watching this and finally understanding why Daisy makes me cry almost every time I hear it, but at the same time gives me such an insane amount of joy. Love your reacts a lot! Thank you guys, the work you guys do is AMAZING and I always learn so so much!!!!!
you just made my uni heart so happy!! thank u so much. pentagon is THAT group indeed they're freakin' *FULL FULL FULL FULL FULL FULL* of talent and I don't understand why the general public can't see that :
I GET GOOSEBUMPS EVERYTIME I LISTEN TO THIS
“it’s a sunny song on a rainy night” exactlyy it’s been added to my playlist full of those kinds of kpop songs
It's cool that after listening Daisy you feel happy to have experienced the song as when you relive an ended relationship in your mind and you accept the way it went while looking forward with a smile. That's a beautiful parallel with life and this track. Also I love when you said that you can taste every type of emotion because the poetry at the end of the video compares daisy's petals (colours in every shot too) to our many feelings.
Thanks for you dedication to music and these reactions. I enjoyed it very much (:
the fact that cube asked you guys to react!!!! i hope the boys see this and react to it!!! 🥰🥰🥰
