It’s very frustrating reading comments on a series that I worked on for 3 months attacking me because “your” favorite song isn’t included. No matter what I do a song isn’t included. Just enjoy the video. I’m sure I’ll react to other things by them. There’s no need to be this upset. This has been a trend all season long and it’s very disappointing.

Honestly, don't trust anyone who doesn't like Shine. Also, for any future reactions, I would suggest Basquiat. It is there final song from Road to Kingdom. It is incredible.

Pentagon omg! They're like one of the most multi-talented self-producing groups in the kpop market rn and they make actual good music and has great vocalists, dancers, choreographers, rappers, lyricists, composers, painters, actors, actual fashion week models, professional vocal instructor who trained some cube artists like (G)-Idle, Yoo Seonho and the trainees. These guys are also so creative and funny onstage and much more offstage.
Their lyrics are so witty, goofy, fun and when it's a ballad (or some of their bright sounding song but actually sad lyrics) it's like they wrote it in memory of their significant other they had divorced with and d worded to make it worse, it's so painful. Glad you checked them out! 🫂

@@skytuzi9063 yes they have lessons there and the artists can request to be educated outside company about producing, rap-making, song and lyrics writing as cube gives them artistic freedom. there was a documentary about that
Shinwon was actually also freelance pictorial model before becoming trainee. So yeah, he's actual model. I hope he does more walk.
the reason why pentagon never look out of place and commit to their concepts 100% is because on top of being musicians they write and compose their own music and are intensely involved in the overall creation process!! they have something i haven't seen in anyone else in the music industry. thank you so much for checking them out🥰
The guy you said you recognised is Dawn. He was in pentagon but had to leave (got kicked out of cube) when it came out he’s dating hyuna. Both in cube. And now they’re both in pnation psy’s company.

Like that label exploited their sexual tension in Tripple H mvs so much and then they turn around and say you can’t be in a relationship?! Yeah byyyeee. They’re both thriving with P Nation.
@@user-dz5hh6kb5w With the "choices" Cube gave Hyuna and Dawn (aka "break up or leave), they basically kicked them out and the two of them strutted out of there holding hands like the legends they are. Cube handled their relationship horribly, and that's on the company.

shine was a game changer for kpop and boy groups doing bright concepts. till then, most bg songs with cute concepts were mostly aegyo based and that was it but pentagon really showed how to act cute and silly while enjoying it!!!!! it feels very natural to them and you can't help but feel excited and happy together. you should check out their stages, my favorite is the show champion one where hui (the main vocal that you like) ends up eating confetti in the middle of the stage and they all start laughing their ass off 😁☺️

Came back here after seeing Hui's major move to join Boy's Planet. It broke my heart to see him there, but still support him no matter what. I am rooting for all the Pentagon members
Shine is probably their most popular song and is called a "sleeper Hit" bc it gained attention only after the promotions ended. It is also actually the non big4 artists song with the most views !!

But they got their first win only with Daisy (4yrs into their career..) after participating in Road to Kingdom... The whole year of 2020 was actually very emotional bc the small main vocalist Jinho had to enlist before getting their first win. So the group and fans (universe) were anxious of a possible disbandment (bc cube is a shit company).
Although ptg is overall pretty underrated with the general public, they’re very notorious for their powerful vocal. Jinho is actually a vocal coach and he trains cube’s trainee. 3 of them are also main actors in musicals. And they’re super respected in the industry (fellow idols, actors, producers and dancers alike).
Many comments already mentioned that they’re producers as well (and not just 1 of them, there are 3 main producers and the rest also produce but their songs are less often in the albums) but they often produce for other groups and shows like the produce series, ace, cix, shinhwa and more! Kino and yuto actually have their own soundcloud too
Fun Facts:
Pentagon is one of those groups with a lot TALL member,
The tallest is Wooseok is the main rapper and is 6'3 tall
then we got YanAn one of the vocalist is 6'2 tall and then Yuto another rapper is 6'1 tall along side with Shinwon that is another vocalist that is also 6'1 tall.
so as you can see, Universe (pentagon fandom) have inside jokes around their heights.

Also I'll add Wooseok is the maknae and the oldest member Jinho is one of the shortest. Jinho's vocals are top tier though.

OMG PENTAGON!!!! I DON'T STAN THEM BUT THIS GROUP HAS A SOFT SPOT IN MY HEART ESPECIALLY KINO AND WOOSEOK
Jino, the one who was wearing the cape in Shine, was an SM trainee. He debuted in SM the Ballad (the song called "hot times") with Shine's Jonghyun, Suju's Kyuhyun, and another from trax (SM's band). I remember when EXO debuted, I was looking for "that trainee in SM the Ballad". I even thought Suho was Jino at first. But sadly, Jino can't make it into EXO. I read somewhere because his image overlapped with DO's (I don't know if it's true though), so he was dropped from EXO's lineup. So he exited from SM and was a vocal trainer before joining Cube and making his debut with Pentagon.
Jinho said he was never supposed to be part of EXO. He was supposed to be a part of another group, but people slowly went their own way and he was left alone.

Jinho said himself that he wasn't supposed to debut in exo, he was supposed to debut with another group BEFORE exo but sm cancelled their debut & introduced EXO instead. Then few yrs after, Jinho left SM to become a vocal coach & 2015 when he joined cube & 2016 debuted with pentagon.
I'm glad he left to join Cube and debut with Pentagon but the Nctzen in me wonders if he might've been a member of NCT eventually if he stayed in SM.

i strongly believe that hui and jinho are two of the best vocalists in kpop and it is not talked about enough! pentagon are so insanely talented and will always pull off a cute concept well. i highly recommend you also check out more of their older music ESPECIALLY naughty boy and like this because those are two of my absolute favorites from them. ALSO you have to check out magazine ho which is jinho's solo covers that he does (he was the cute short one in shine lol)... he is one of the most talented people ever and you will not be disappointed
DAISY IS LITERALLY ONE OF THE BEST
(very long comment ahead lol) yes pentagon !!! their vocals are out of this world, one of their main vocals jinho used to be an sm trainee and was in a team called sm the ballad which jonghyun from shinee and chen from exo were also a part of. after that and before he joined pentagon he worked as a vocal trainer too. the dancer that caught your eye in gorilla is kino! he’s an incredible dancer and choreographs a lot of pentagon’s songs including daisy! and he was the one with goggles in shine! also the vocalist you kept pointing out was the other main vocal and leader hui! he also produces a large portion of their songs.
also daisy actually got them their first win and it was incredible! it was their first comeback after jinho left for the military, right after road to kingdom and was written by hui ! he is an incredible lyricist
and kino was also the dancer you asked the name of in feelin like 😅 he helped write and choreograph the song as well
also the changes in members are because dawn (the guy from shine) left the group and debuted as a soloist, yanan went back and forth from korea to china with individual promotions as well as being injured/sick, wooseok and kino were in and out of a couple comebacks/choreos in songs you didn’t react to, and 3 members have gone to (1 has come back already) the military which is why the vocalist you liked, hui, was missing in feelin’ like

Daisy is probably one of the best songs to have ever been made. It’s one of those songs that truly expresses the absolute desperation it’s meant to be talking about and their voices aid it even more. It’s a masterpiece of a song, here to admit I get a bit teary eyed every time I listen to it. It’s such an overwhelming song, almost like a wave. I swear I could praise that song for hours. So glad you checked out PTG, all of their songs are just pure artwork

Their Daisy got their first win at music show. It's also what made me their fan, tbh. Just like what you said, it's really emotional, and that's what I like about the song. Watching your reactions made me think of myself when I'm just first diving into PENTAGON. Also, I'm still wondering why Shine did not get any win, it's their "HUGE" song. And I swear they are really a good group and the members are all talented. Unfortunately, some people just really like to sleep on them. The center you pointed out in Feelin like is Kino, the main dancer. He is a producer, main choreographer and even PAiNTED THE ALBUM COVER (?!) for Daisy. Kino is also in a producing crew called M.O.L.A.

shine and daisy are my favorites! i remember them getting all the attention when they released shine music video because it was sooo catchy and it became an anthem to kpop stans lmao shine was also the song that introduced me to pentagon which left a big impact and connection to my heart. meanwhile, daisy is one of my favorites because i am a dramatic biatch so i enjoy dramatic music ya know, sad vibes but has rock vibes into it (and i love band intruments sooo much, just give me a drum, acoustic guitar, piano, and/or electric guitar on the song, and it's going to be on my playlist and be my favorite song of all time)
At 10:34 it is Dawn (E-Dawn before). He was in pentagon but left the group and agency after his relation whit Hyuna has been revealed (Hyuna also left the agency). They're in couple since 5/6 years and are engaged. Now, they're also at P Nation (the adgency of PSY). Sorry if they are mistakes, i'm French and my english is suck
Pentagon are immensely talented. So many good songs. My fav album from them is The Black Hall. You should definitely check out their MV for basquiat..it’s a cinematic masterpiece

OKAY pentagon!! this is one of my precious gems. The guy singing his butt off lmao is HUI. Jinho and Hui their amazing main vocalists have some of my favorite voices in the entire universe, truly recommend everyone to watch their covers they post on youtube (jinho magazine) jinho is a vocal coach and hui is a producer/composer. (jinho quite recently completed military, thats why he wasn't in daisy and do or not. feelin like was his first cb after - and hui is there now thats why he wasn't in feelin like, he will soon come back from the military tho!!!) Kino is their main dancer, he does amazing choreography. Yuto!! he's the first japanese rapper in k-pop which is so cool! he's also good friends with our boy Yuta!!

"Shine" became such an iconic song for k-pop! Like every k-poper know that song and has danced to it.
And like other people said: you recognize Dawn because he is Hyuna's fiancé and he is a solo artist under P Nation. When their relationship was revealed, Cube kicked them out. It's so funny to watch Triple H stuff now (a trip of Hyuna, Dawn and Hui, both from Pentagon) and see how Hui was trying to keep it cool while knowing that they have been together for two years already in that time hahahaha
Pentagon live is AMAZING! I was more of a casual fan when I went to their concert but I walked out a whole stan because their vocals LIVE are INSANE. They really are such amazing performers and their albums are great! You really like Hui's voice and he is indeed a main vocalist hehe

You know Pentagon is such an underrated group with sooooo many amazing songs title tracks and b-sides and I'm glad that I went to see them when they were on tour 2019, they deserve it 😭🙏🙏
PENTAGON is that one group who I really stan that I really think deserve a lot of recognition and support. I stan a lot of KPop groups and been a KPop stan since 2005 and I was hyping them up since debut! They are just really GOOD!!!!
Caitliiiiiiiiiiin! Girl, the way I squealed when I saw the notification. I discovered Pentagon thanks to Ben and when I saw them in Kingdom, I fell in love with them even more. I just melt every time Hui sings, that man has a gift, and he's a songwriter and producer too. And Kino is my wrecker because he's so talented and he's such a gentle soul, I love him so much ❤️❤️❤️

A couple of things! First of all, they do write and compose their own songs! They started doing so after their comeback with Like This. The main producers of the group are Hui (guy with the vocals you loved), Wooseok (really tall rapper guy) and Kino (dancer you really liked).
What you mentioned about the "energy" they give is 100% true. I started stanning them after I watched their dance practice for shine, just because the energy they gave was unreal. I also think they do bright concepts like no other boy group in kpop, it is so refreshing! They have a couple other cute songs, all of them are a 10/10 for me.
Some of the members that went missing are because of military service! Currently, two members are enlisted (Hui and Hongseok) and one member already finished his military service (Jinho), but was absent during Daisy and DO or NOT.
Daisy is one of my favorite kpop songs, it has so much soul behind it. I am glad you liked it ❤️

aw i don't follow pentagon as closely as i used to, but they'll always have a special place in my heart bc they were one of the groups that got me fully back into k-pop in 2016 :')
SHINE has a special place in my heart because it was when Dawn became my bias in Pentagon (until his departure from the group; I support both the group and him as a solo artist) Also, SHINE was the first song that I learned to sing all the Korean lyrics

I don't usually comment but I watched your Woodz and Seventeen discoveries and I'm really happy you discovered Pentagon as well!! I don't mind whether you'll react more to them or not but I'm just happy that they're under your radar now hehe. My personal favourite title track is actually Like This!
